GIVEAWAY
We're kicking off a new month!
Over the next few weeks you'll hear from over twenty amazing women as well as some fabulous guest posters about what HOPE looks like in their lives.
Imagine all of us sitting around the kitchen table at a beach house, coffee in our hands, listening to stories as different as each one telling them. We want you to have a seat at the table too!
So as we start September tomorrow and a new theme of hope today...
We’re giving you another shot at winning a limited edition (in)courage shirt! This is the only way you can get one right now.
Back: Be strong and let your heart take courage, all you who hope in the Lord. Psalm 31:24 NRSV
There are three little steps to enter…
1) Write a post about hope on your blog this week.
2) Link to (in)courage in your post.
3) Add your post to the list below by midnight on Friday, September 4th.
Are you (in)?
The first MckLinky is having a little trouble so just keep on linking with the new one...

I have tried. I really have. I have written three posts about hope. But I cannot bring myself to hit publish. To cheapen those lessons by making them a part of a contest. So I will sit back and enjoy those of you who have the guts to push publish, instead of save to draft. I am looking forward to the blogs I find this week through this contest. May God bless each of you as you share your stories. :)

I'm going to try to do this!

Tricia -
First off, thank you for your sweet comments on my blog. It encourages me to NOT give up.
Secondly, PLEASE hit publish!! Because you never know if what you find hope in, what you are hoping for or how you keep hope alive may encourage someone else. Forget the contest - if you win, give the shirt away to one of the readers on your blog or ask the folks here to give it to someone else. But whatever you do, don't let what God may lay on your heart get pushed aside because of a contest.
:o)
And that's all I have to say about that!

Thanks,
Tina

The "post's" are like prayers, sometimes.
We may be hoping for help from our God in our present situation. Putting this into words, that are visible, help relieve the pent up tention. Many a morning I have been up at 4:30 writing on a legal yellow note pad,
all those situations that frustrate or puzzle me. When the paper is used up I tear the ledger up and start on a new one. I am doing less writing and using fewer ledgers as my frustrations have decreased doing this!

i am so hoping and waiting to see (me), when the father finishes with all the dross, and slime that rises to the top, i shall come forth as pure gold.

Finding HOPE in tomorrow when, you feel no HOPE in today is a daily battle, I have been living with the one step forward, two steps back for over 17 years of hard but much loved marriage to my husband. I hold out HOPE everyday even in the deepest of despire, the greatest depths I see that glimer of HOPE that Jesus sends my way, a way to hold on when my fingers are already bloody with the grip not to let go...my Jesus is my HOPE

My hope is that Peter (our second of seven sons) will again call me his mother. And that he will again love and speak to his brothers. He lives right on the corner and his three little girls are not allowed to come over. It is now over a year and a half. I live in hope that he will someday say he is sorry. No matter what he does, I told him I will love him forever! I will continue to love and pray for them. I put on the whole armor of God, go over and maybe push them on the swing or just go and hug Kirsten (nearly 9), Riley (6), and Grace(3). God gives me hope and joy! Peter has been taught the Word and will return. I cling to Jesus - my life, my joy! May God bless you for praying for me.
