It is SO hard to die to self! Or I guess the more correct way to say that is it is SO hard to realize we’re already dead and it’s Christ who’s alive in us. Mind boggling, at least to this soul. 🙂
I do want to honor God in my prayer life so I try to pray the way I read it modeled in scripture; sometimes those prayers hardly resemble the ones I often hear in my adult SS class :/.
You’re spot on that we’re missing power! Not just power but DYNAMITE! This God who spoke the world into existence lives in me? Can you hear my brain exploding on that thought?

Heather, thanks for the reminder that Jesus prayed for others, gave His life for others – and as Robin noted – it is not us but Him who now lives in us so our lives should reflect His life.
