"I believe I am here for a special purpose and that God has given me all I need to carry out His plan for me."

I can't remember where I read these words. But they impacted me so much, I jotted them down on the back of a receipt and held them close.

What I want my children to know:

• They were created by God.

• They aren't an accident or an afterthought.

• They were created for a special purpose.

• God has a divine plan for their lives.

• God has gifted them with unique abilities to see His purpose fulfilled.

The world tries to tell our children the opposite: maybe they evolved from animals. Perhaps they were an accident or one choice away from an abortion. The world tries to convince them that God is just another choice and they should be like everyone else.

I knew I wanted these words to hang in my childrens' rooms. I want these words, this prayer,  to resonate in their hearts. I found a few wooden crosses on the clearance aisle for $2 each.

I spray painted them:

I typed the words and printed them on scrapbook paper:

I cut out coordinating colors and decoupaged the paper to the 

cross:

And I pray these words for a hope and a future over my most priceless gifts:
