  1. Oh, how that Enemy can tell me I don’t matter and anything I do doesn’t amount to a hill of beans. What baffles me more is why I even give him an inch of mind space when the Creator of the Universe says over and over I matter much!

Thanks for encouraging us with God’s truth and reflecting it. Love you dearly!

    • So good to see your sweet face here, girl! Hoping I get to do the same in person sooner rather than later. 🙂 Thanks for your kidn comment. You are most certainly making a difference!!

  2. this will give me an extra boost of happy specialness for today; a surprise gift that i thank you for passing it on!

  5. Thank you for using your gift to encourage us all. You are indeed a blessing to so many. I recently sent your card to a friend who needed Hope. Through your words she was able to get her second wind and press on. Thank you, Holley.

  6. Thanks for the reminder….I feel so under appreciated sometimes, but I know that even if no one else says thank you or notices what I do–He sees it and is glorified by it!

  8. Holly,

Thank you sooo much for the encouragement. I need to hear that & believe that daily, especially in my job. Sometimes I feel like I’m not making a difference, not sure why I’m, stuck here, but God knows & has plans for me.

  9. So thankful to be starting the day out with your life giving words, Holley. Keep pouring, and we’ll keep sipping and smiling. 😉 Love ya’, sweet Holley!

  10. You know what, Holley, I did need to know this today. Thank you for following the leading of the Lord…it’s like He is speaking this directly to me, through you.

    Nell

  11. Amen! Thank you you so much for this sweet and simple reminder. I needed it. I’m going to go change some diapers, read some stories, and make some lunch for my Savior’s glory!

  12. thanks dear Holley…you speak words of life like my mama in Heaven would say if she could…you are a bright, beautiful blessing:):):):)

  13. I just wanted to tell you how much this touched me. I subscribe via email and I get the post on my phone, everyday. I really needed this. When this came in this morning I had just thought to myself how there was no way that I was making a difference in the people that are around me. I work in education and I was really having a down day when I read this it made me cry. If this was for no one else it was for me. Thanks for all of the encouragement.

  14. Keep saying it Holley! So few do…and well, you do say it so well! Love to read your words and see how women respond to them! Oh, how women need to be encouraged with God’s Word and how much He loves them. You just can’t say it enough!

  15. I’ve been trying to begin my online days reading a little (in)couragement every morning; today was just too full, so I’m ending reading a little (in)couragement.

Funny that I should read this after a (friendship) sinking spell. Guess God knew I’d need to hear it n.o.w. 🙂

  16. Dear Holley,

Thank you for the encouragement. I have a God-sized dream of a new job where I can make a difference and hopefully help people. I do not feel that I make a difference at all where I am now. Nothing has come of the new-job dream…yet. Thank you for this, though. I’m thankful that God … and you 🙂 … are smiling. Just making someone smile is enough to keep me going. 🙂

  17. Thankyou so much Holley, I have just discovered your site and what an encouragement you are…all the little touches too!!! So gorgeous!!! I go onto your site most days and it is so what I need to hear for that day. God is so good! May God bless you always as you give to others!!! I read something yesterday that said “We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean, but the ocean would be less because of that missing drop (Mother Theresa) so true hey!!!! Have a wonderful day. <3 x

  18. thanks for this encouragement today Holley…God is taking me out of everything that is known and familiar to me…i am not working due to a fall i had last month…i am feeling like i am drowning in the daily “stuff” at home in the midst of remodeling my kitchen and every step we have hit walls..the only thing that keeps me going is that God keeps whispering to me not to worry, it will get done and that there are people in the world that do not even have a kitchen…and if they do it may have a dirt floor..this puts me right into the thank you/praising God mode that my mishaps are small compared to what other women in the world face every day…your words encourage me to just plain trust in the Lord and not worry about the things that are temporary….each one of the ladies comments above have personal meaning for them…i thank you for your comments and prayers for all..may you have a blessed weekend…Javene

  19. Holly thank you, you really help me every day as i read your mail. God knows just what i need and uses you to speak to me mand days in your writings. God bless you and your family. Kathryn in the Bahamas.

  20. Dear Holley,

Thank you so much for speaking to me through the Lord here. Unfortunately i wasn’t able to get on until now, but I believe that the Lord has sent me here this morning in his timing. I really need to hear this this morning.

We all are very Blessed to have you making a Difference in the way you do.

  21. Holly ~ I cannot tell you enough how your words have changed my life. I have shared your blog with others and a friend told me the other day “thank you for sharing.” It has been a blessing in her life, mine and many others. GOD is speaking thru you and it is beautiful! Thank you!

    God Bless,
    Lisa

  22. Even though I feel I am getting stronger handling problems that are so hard (son still is having problems and has not found his faith) – I have moments still…that “ememy” like Kristen said…still wants to pull me down. I will not let him….I will let go and let God come in. Thank all of you for sharing your moments and how you get through.

  23. Hi Holley- thanks for the special message. I am part of a woman’s group in my community and our mission is to help children in need. We are focusing these next weeks with our food collection for families in need and sometimes I feel like our efforts are a “drop in the bucket” compared to the larger groups that collect millions of dollars and tons of food. After reading your words today, I am reminded that we are making difference in our corner of the world and that families will be blessed by our work and our gifts to them this Christmas. Thanks again for touching my heart with your wisdom and love.
    God bless you…..Love, Linda

  24. Holly…thank you so much for this prayer..I really needed it at this very moment. I am at the end….I don’t know what to do anymore…I must perform for others…that’s all. I am nothing to anyone…why go on? But thanks to you, I have at least two…you and God

  25. Thank you. I heard what I needed to hear today in your blog. I pray I’ll have your love for people. It’s very near to the way Jesus loved.

  26. Thank you every day for the encouraging words and I’m so glad that God walks with us each and every day

  27. It’s always encouraging to think that we are making a difference for someone. Thanks for your words Holley.

  28. What a blessing, Holley! You make a difference. We do all need to hear that everyday. Remembering that our Savior thinks so does really make all the difference. 😀 My husband is really good about telling me this on a regular basis too. I am very blessed in that way. He is sick this weekend and I have been making homemade chicken soup, homemade chili, hot tea, running to the store for medicine and whatever else he needs. He is always so appreciative. He came up behind me in the kitchen earlier this evening and told me how much all I have been doing means to him. He told me that he is amazed at how I do what I do to take care of him and the boys with such joy. He told me how much it means to him. (tears of joy) He told me that every little thing I do makes him feel so special and that he feels the love behind each act of kindness. I give all glory to God because sometimes its not so easy being tired and feeling cranky but stopping the cranky words and choosing words of blessings instead…through the grace of God is the only way I can do it. I feel so blessed today! I need to remember to remind other women how precious they are and how much of a difference they are making! Like you!!!! 😀

    Blessings!

    Mary Joy

  29. His words through you make for the most wonderful comfort and blanket of love to cover us today! God bless you, Holley! You make a difference in my heart.

  30. Thank you for these thoughts, Holley! Once again you have brought tears to my eyes! Praise God!

    Dear Rosita:

You are precious! Never feel that you aren’t making a difference. You are loved with a great and deep love. Remember who Jesus says you are! Remember the love our Father God has for you! We all need to remember that. I just don’t want you to give up! You matter to God and very probably to more people than you know! God bless you! You matter to me, and I haven’t even met you! Let’s pray for one another! I am praying that you find rest, hope and joy in God, Jesus your Savior and the Holy Spirit!
You don’t need to perform for anyone. You need to be for God – a vessel though whom He can show Himself!

    Because of Jesus,
    Cindy
