8 Conference Sponsorship Opportunities to Relevant!

Tags:  Creativity, Giveaways, Gutsy Girls

We love bloggers and we love being able to support them as they participate in blogging conferences. That means you! So we’ve dreamed up EIGHT sponsorship opportunities for the upcoming Relevant Conference in October 27-29, 2011.

Lisa-Jo, (in)courage community manager & Holley, (in)courage co-founder by Dawn Camp at Blissdom '11

The Relevant Conference may be sold out, but we’ve already got some tickets reserved for those of you that we sponsor!

Take a look and see if you think any would be a good fit. Even if you have already registered. Because we’ll work with The Relevant Conference organizers to cover ticket costs up to the early bird price. Then send us a proposal no longer than 3 pages and no later than Monday April 11, 2011.

{ Sponsorships }

  1. A Hope & Encouragement sponsorship (for someone who loves the ministry of cards and wants to partner with DaySpring in dreaming up creative ways to spread that ministry across the Internet).
  2. An (in)courage photographer sponsorship (We’d like a dedicated photographer at Relevant to keep adding to the wonderful portfolio of images for (in)courage, DaySpring and Blessings Unlimited). Please be sure to link to a flickr portfolio as part of your application.
  3. A Home blogger sponsorship (for someone who loves to share her home as a place to experience and express Christ’s joy, hope, and encouragement every day, everywhere).
  4. A Frugal blogger sponsorship (sharing creative ways for how DaySpring can help you save)
  5. A Micah 6:8 Sponsorship (for bloggers that are telling the stories and sharing the avenues for social justice, mercy and ways we can change even small parts of the world, starting with ourselves)
  6. A Writer’s Craft sponsorship (for bloggers who love to weave words and use their writing and story telling to inspire us, connect with our products and impact the audience with their stories).
  7. A Newbie sponsorship (for someone who’s been blogging less than a year because we love being able to offer a helping hand to someone who’s just started out on this blogging journey and who needs someone to believe in them).
  8. A Veteran sponsorship (for someone who’s been blogging longer than four years and can bring their  social media insights and experience to the DaySpring perspective)

{ What a DaySpring Sponsorship Covers }

  • One conference registration to Relevant ’11
  • A post on (in)courage announcing who you are and a link to your blog
  • Free product (for thematic sponsorship promotion) and/or covering proposed promotion expenses
  • Promoting your blog and helping drive traffic your way to benefit you as an affiliate.

{ Proposal }

  • Which sponsorship you are applying for.
  • Why you and your blog are a good brand match for us.
  • Your stats, i.e. monthly traffic, number of subscribers, twitter followers, Facebook likes, and any others you consider relevant.
  • What fun and creative ideas do you envision for our partnership.

{ Where to Send It }

Sponsorship inquiries should have “Sponsorship Inquiry” in the subject along with which sponsorship you’re interested in (for example “Sponsorship Inquiry: Home Blogger”) and be emailed to: incourage@dayspring.com

{ The Fine Print }

  • All entries must be submitted electronically by midnight EST on Monday April 11, 2011.
  • The DaySpring team will select a winner based on the proposals we think best fit (in)courage and DaySpring’s mission and needs.
  • The winners will be announced by Monday, May 2, 2011 on (in)courage.
  • Please only enter if you know you will be able to attend the entire Relevant Conference over the weekend of October 27th-29th.

{ What to Expect }

We can’t wait to read your proposals!

However, even if we can’t sponsor you, we sure can offer you the opportunity to host a giveaway of some fun DaySpring product on your site or partner with us in other ways. If you are interested in partnering with DaySpring & (in)courage, please let us know here!

Most importantly, you should know that sponsorship or not, we think you are the absolute bee’s knees!

WOW! I am sooooo excited :) I came to check out my favorite ‘morning-cuppa-coffee site’ and saw the blissdom pic and about jumped outta my chair! Oh how I long to hug everyone at DaySpring! Then I read about Relevant and got goosebumps! I just emerged myself and S.D.G. into the Twitter world about 2 weeks ago and my eyes have been opened to an etire blogging world that I didn’t even know exsisted. I have been researching and reading and ooohing and aaaahhhing and trying to find the time and know-how to make my own blog. I just barely got started building the page and plan and launching within a few days-can’t wait! Now I need to find the time to write a proposal! Yikes!! Thank you & LOVE you InCourage!!! (Shout out to Saul & Lainie-thanks for believing in me-you guys are the best blessing S.D.G. could ever ask for . <3)

Can you apply for more than one?

13 Lisa-Jo @incourage March 25, 2011 at 10:02 AM

Hi Jen –

Yes, you can. But we will only be choosing one person per sponsorship and they will each go to someone different.

Thanks for asking,
Lisa-Jo

I tell ya, (in)courage is just awesome!
Last year at Relevant, I saw first hand how wonderful and amazing your team truly is. I consider my blog to be a lowly, humble, little blog- yet when partnering with (in)courage/Dayspring, my little bloggity-blog is never treated as such. Truly, you are an uplifting group to work with! :)
I can’t wait to go to Relevant this year…. {Is it nerdy to have my ticket printed out and kept in a page protector, displayed to remind me daily?!?}
I’m praying that these sponsorships will truly bless each individual that is granted one.
Best Wishes everyone- I look forward to meeting bunches of new friends this year! :)

Rachel,

That’s one of the most beautiful things to share – thank you so much. We’re so so glad that how much we respect, admire, and love this blogging community translates! We hold you all in the highest esteem and believe that Christ is doing wonderful things through each and every part of this community. And in Him, the size and scope of the individual platform is irrelevant, right? He makes the wonder happen.

So glad you’ll be at Relevant again – be sure to come and say hello!

Warmest wishes,

Lisa-Jo

I had written off Relevant 11 – as difficult as that was to do being a 2010 attendee. I guess the stream of tears down my face after reading this means I should apply? Such a strange thing to love ‘invisible friends’ so much. My husband used to think I was crazy – until he got to meet some of them himself. ;)

oohhhhh! i too had written off relevant this year…i was dying to go and was kinda bumming about it, but just wasn’t sure how to swing all of the costs…but this is such a FAB idea you guys! not just for the Great Eight that get picked, but for your own business model…to find more women to partner with…to expand your reach and be exposed to some amazing women that you may not have known were out there (not that they aren’t all amazing, but you know what I mean!).

i’ll be praying for you guys…i can’t imagine the sheer volume of emails y’all are about to get…for patience and guidance as you try to make the hard decisions. that’s a tough job!!!

so fun and exciting! be on the lookout for a proposal from moi! woop woop!

Praying right now for the amazing and God picked women God will match up with each of these 8 (in)courage sponsorships!

I can’t wait to see names, smiling faces, and hear how God uses this in their lives for His glory and their good!

Love how God continues to write the (in)courage story!

As a former recipient of an (in)courage sponsorship to Relevant, there’s not enough I could say about this gift you are providing to so many women. I hope the opportunity to attend changes lives, as it did mine.

I have just learned about this conference from a friend and am excited to possibly write a proposal for the new faith blogger/photography slot. I would love to attend and learn more, to be (in)couraged to move forward in faith, and to meet other women who are living their lives and businesses for the Lord and making a difference in people’s lives. http://www.theremembermyloveproject.blogspot.com/

This sounds very exciting! I had written off Relevant for this year, but maybe I’ll have a chance!!
I am a little confused over what bullet points 3 and 4 above are in detail. (Can you tell I’m new to this blog work….hence will be entering the “newbie” category! LOL)

Can you explain further:
# Free product (for thematic sponsorship promotion) and/or covering proposed promotion expenses
# Promoting your blog and helping drive traffic your way to benefit you as an affiliate.

Thank you!!

persons will go along with with your blog.

Wow! What a great opportunity! Thank you for making one of the scholarships available just to newbies. There is so much to learn and a conference like this would be a fantastic way to get moving. Now the biggest dilemma: Am I brave enough to enter?

Reply

43 Jennifer April 7, 2011 at 4:56 PM

So excited about this!!! I just discovered this site and could hardly believe the opportunity! I read that you can apply for more than one of the scholarships…if you do this, do you need to write a proposal for each one, or can you write one proposal and list all that you are applying for?
Thanks!
