  1. Just since Friday evening I have seen a beautiful rainbow and last night the sun setting looked like ‘sand art’! The sun had orange stripes or ‘layers’ in it and was so beautiful! Yesterday afternoon I was at a picnic with my Sunday School class at a classmates home. They have some magnificant trees on their property. 1 tree provide enough shade for our entire group of ~ 30-40 people!

    • A sun set like sand art… how amazing and beautiful! And the blessing of a tree… such beauty. Thank you so much for sharing that with us Lisa!

  2. This is truly beautiful and spoken like a true artist. Thank you for helping me to see the simple beauty and art in the daily stuff we can too often brush past. Just lovely!

  3. Magnificent Jen! You have such an eye for beauty. These are just breathtaking – painted by the Master Artist. I had to run and get my husband to take a look!

  4. This was so wonderfully simple and profound at the same time! Love these lines:

“When you seek the beauty, when you seek the art… you will find the wonderfully created.
    The living art.
    A glimpse of Him.”

And that is what it’s all about…glimpsing Him all around us!

I’m glad I got a chance to come by finally today! And it is the perfect way to end His day of rest…

  5. Such a beautiful post, Jennifer! Simple words with such depth. I just keep thinking about how we so easily miss the creative masterpieces of God if we don’t stop and look. I almost missed sweet time with my daughter today because I was in such a get it done mode. The wonderfully created is truly all around us.
