Turn on the television. Spend time on the Internet. Take a walk through your local mall. Everywhere we go there are messages about who we are and who we’re supposed to be.
And yet in the middle of it all, one voice is quietly calling to our hearts.
It’s the voice of the One Who Loves Us.
He whispers, “You’re wanted. You matter. You’re wonderfully made.”
In our noisy world, our busy lives, those words that express God’s heart for you can get lost. God’s Heart for You: Embracing Your True Worth as a Woman and the God’s Heart Collection from Blessings Unlimited are invitations to find them again.
As a writer, life coach, and counselor, I connect with women each week who tell me they struggle to find their worth and purpose. I know what that’s like because I’ve struggled with the same issues. During a season when the lies were especially loud, God prompted me to get up early each morning to spend time listening to Him. (Confession: I’m not a morning person. Once I even put chocolate on the alarm clock to bribe myself to get up. I ate the chocolate and went back to bed.) This seemed like quite a challenge, but thankfully, I decided to do it anyway.
God’s Heart for You: Embracing Your True Worth as a Woman and the God’s Heart Collection from Blessings Unlimited contain the encouraging words I heard from God’s heart in those early morning hours. These truths changed my life. I believe they’ll do the same for you. Consider this series of posts this month your personal invitation to set aside a little time with Him. (You don’t even have to get up early—although I still recommend the chocolate no matter what time you choose!) Grab a cup of coffee or tea, pick up your Bible, and just let God love on you awhile.
I’ll be right beside you too.

My kids “job” for today was to share over dinner where they saw God’s love somewhere at school today … looking forward to hearing their stories. He’s loving on us everywhere we go!

Holley, You’re posts are always so inspiring and today was no different.
On my blog I’m in the middle of a series of posts on “materialism.” Today I wrote about how consumer behavior is greatly influenced by the advertising and marketing which targets our identity, and tell us that we are what we buy. It also focuses on our social status, and compares what we own, to our peers, neighbors, and co-workers. This makes your message even more important…. we need to understand and BELEIVE that our true identity can only be found through God’s Heart.
This week I receive my “God’s Heart card pack” and I’m so excited to be writing a review of the product. Absolutely love each and every sentiment!
Looking forward to reading your series of posts this month…. more encouraging words, can’t wait!
God’s Peace, Donna
