  2. I think it is easy to fall into the “what if” trap. I pray that I can have the eyes of Christ to see the realities around me instead of allowing Satan to plant mind-game seeds. It seems like all he has to do is plant the seed and I am very good at feeding it and letting it grow. Praying to see things from God’s perspective helps me to focus on what is TRUE instead of a bunch of lies.
    LOVE the part about desert-soils producing amazing fruit in our lives! Only God can make those soils fruitful to show His glory and not ours.

  3. Great chapter and hit home with me in many aspects, but I love the prayer Angie closes the chapter with where she says, “…. I was worth you dreaming me up.” Wow. Such a perspective to maintain when we’re tempted to think so lowly of ourselves compared to how God sees us.
