  1. Thank you Sarah for sharing this! It was beautifully written. I’ll be blasting a link over and twitter. I loved the geranium pot illustration at the end! Thank you for the beautiful inspiration and encouragement this morning!

    • Awwww..thanks so much Natalie! and thanks for finding me and posting on my blog …. YOU encouraged ME!

  2. I have just recently found your site. You are an amazingly talented writer. I look forward to your writings. Now of only I can come to understand and accept the messages. We are all broken vessels.

    • Rose, thank you ..it’s truly all the Lord…. as for understanding and accepting the messages… I too am slowly learning only a portion of the deep intricate and intimate ways that the Lord loves me, I’m grateful we are in His capable hands as He molds us and gently teaches us His love…. soooo good! 🙂 I love that your name Rose, is a symbol of enduring Love…

  3. Hey Sarah, this post is absolutely beautiful! I shared it with my Social Work Christian Caucus in hopes of inspiring them to keep effecting change in ourselves and others.

    • That’s incredible Lyn! Thank you! Praying favor and blessings on you and your team as you boldly serve! YES! Our world changes when we let Christ change US!

  4. I am striving to live with that joy and the peace in my heart that I am a beloved daughter of God. It is hard, not just because of Satan’s darts, but because life just shifts our focus sometimes. This is an awesome website that sends just the reminders I need.

    • Yes Lisa! Philippians 4:7! Keep pressing in to the Lord and trusting His Word! GOOD JOB lady! 🙂

  5. Broken and so many beautiful aspects and colors of life that come out of you! You are a wonderful illustration daily of God’s love and compassion. Thank you.

  6. I work daily to show, live and be the joy & peace that I know God has put in my heart. Satan’s attacks come slyly and craftily telling me “not beautiful, not smart, dumb, stupid”.

It is only through the amazing grace of God and my God-given hubby that I know & feel loved & can have that peace & joy!@

    Great post!

    • It is truly all the Lord Beth! I love that you use the word WORK..cause it’s DEFINATELY that! 🙂 But no labor is in vain when God’s given the glory and He’s allowed to become bigger inside our hearts than any lie ever thrown our way! So GOOD!

  7. Sarah,

I say thank you with tears flowing. God just wont let me go; He pursues me(even thru my inbox/spam messages).

All the words you shared here are exactly the words GOD has been laying heavy on my heart these past few weeks, esp this week. One important truth: I cannot love like I Cor 13 w/o HIM and w/o being in HIM. And when He calls me to love as He does, He will sustain it, He will provide for it.

I’ve been struggling about an important relationship God has given me, and w/ all sense and logic and even “spiritual insights” from well-meaning friends, the best way is just to let go and be strong. But you here, and God’s Words are calling me to do so otherwise — to love and forgive because I am deeply loved, graced, cherished and forgiven of HIM and by HIM.

“I am continually learning what Love really is. I know that as a woman, I offer a lot just by being a woman. Women are menders of relationships in the world. The caretakers of relationships with another, while God is the caretaker of the heart that loves. That’s why the word beautiful is used to describe women.

Its beauty that is unveiled in their lives that restores and refreshes in a world that without God finds very little beauty. It’s rough and unlovely. The world can be harsh and cold without warmth and forgiveness. That is what makes the expression of Love so divine. How we Love is a true reflection of Who or what we allow to Love us. ”

Thank you, Sarah. These words gripped me hard, and just sealed HIS leading. It’s easy to say/mouth “walk and love in the footsteps of the Crucified…” but when HE is actually giving us this object of love, we/I falter each instance my love is lambasted/ignored/hurt…Oh, God, more of YOU please.

    Thank you.

    • AHHH DEAR ONE! You are right when you say the Lord will NEVER let you go….I pray that the Lord is like a seal on your heart…that only His love will penetrate and give you the strength for this days portion. Not thinking of the next day, but only what He’s given you in this one. You are loved with an everlasting love, and underneath are His everlasting arms. May His peace sustain you, His Love overwhelm you, and His joy break through all sorrow to know His greatest desire and will for you…blessings … Sarah

  8. Sarah,

Your posts are absolutely amazing, you are a very talented writer. I look forward to reading your writing, because at times it inspires mine. God has given you a great talent, and it’s wonderful to know and see that you are using it to the best of your ability.

    May God bless you always,
    Taylor

    • Thank you Taylor… serving Him is my joy and the writings are from Him. I saw on your blog that you get to ride horses and live on a farm/ranch. How wonderful! Keep writing from where you are and what the Lord shows you… it’s women like me that need to hear from those places… I pray God fills you with inspired words and the pictures to help write it all down. 🙂 Blessings to you!
