For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name.
I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.
And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever!

This was our Scripture study today in church….so cool to see it twice on my day of resting in Him 🙂

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is within us. During this season of my life I would really like for Him to do something big in my life. I know that He is capable of anything I askl–just need lots of patience & faith that He will act in His time!
Ann, since listening to you recite the Sermon on the Mount, I “heard” you speaking the words. It really personalizes things to hear you speaking this verse today, even though I’m only reading it. Thank you!
Am standing with confidence in Gods power to see me thru this next chapter in my life, searching for a new job when they are still hard to come by… Resting in the fact that HE is able to do so much more than I know. Like Beth I am in need of patience and faith that HE is in control and I need to just rest in Him.
