When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.
I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow! This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you.
There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.

We are also called to rememberance on this Memorial Day weekend. We need to remember ALL the fallen heroes of past wars–plus the greatest sacrifice ever made on our behalf Jesus willingly giving up His life for ours while we were yet sinners!
Let us not forget why we celebrate Memorial Day & Each Lord’s Day!
Amen! I love Memorial Day and also Veterans Day. As the daughter and wife of a Veteran as well as the mother of an active duty serviceman, it is very special to me.
Remembering this weekend and always of our son’s 5 friends who gave their lives in Iraq 5 years ago. We’ll never forget!!!
