I cannot wait! I am soooo excited about this! Last year was so encouraging. I was just speaking with some friends around the country and talking about bringing them here to FL for a girlfriend getaway. One of my friends called and suggested I plan for this spring.. You see this is another milestone and we need to celebrate.. I am fighting inoperable spinal tumors eating through my spine from the inside.. and was given 30 days of less ~ 5 yrs ago!.. I never thought I would make ti this far, except for by the grace of God. The diagnosis is still the same. many many times throughout each week when symptoms increase along with pain, and I lay in my bed, asking God for His direction, I wonder if this is the day… but God in His mercy gives me more time! The doctors do not understand why I am alive still..
This has been a very rough year for many… so much suffering has been felt by so many this past year….as well as for myself, not only battling the constant pain, mobility problems, and associated health issues, but last fall one of my closest long time friends and a prayer partner was diagnosed with 4th stage cancer.. She had always been healthy. So this was a surprise to all of us . Just this past Friday the Lord decided it was time for her to go Home… just 2 days after Christmas. I am still in great grieving and feeling a little lost.. I have cried enough tears to fill a river… We tried to speak every couple nights, and when we did, we laughed, we cried, we prayed… sometimes for a couple hours!…We had spoken of the girlfriend getaway, or at least her coming to visit soon… and set it as a goal…. and now more than ever, instead of just a girlfriend getaway.. I want it to be A BEACH HOUSE in REAL LIFE getaway… to (in )courage all of us in this new year the Lord has given unto us for His purposes. Please sign me up!!

Hi. I am going to be in Jamaica on a mission trip on the day of registration, January 14, 2013. Is there any way I would still be able to get copies of the (in)courage 365 Daybrightener and “Best of the Beach House 2012?” I would also love to be able to listen to (in)RL after the fact? Would that be possible, as well?
I am single mom, full time clerk, from Ohio, who will be traveling to Jamaica with my son on our annual mission trip. We will be returning Saturday, January 19.

Could you please provide some additional information for those of us new to this? How much time commitment is needed on these 2 days, in order to participate in the webcast? The videos also mention watching the web cast and getting together in person but I’m confused about how all of that takes place. Some additional information/concepts would be very helpful as we plan to participate. Thank you!

Yes, if you’re new to it, it can be a bit confusing. The agenda will go live on the 14th as well as the FAQ page and hopefully explain everything in detail. But it’s a short webcast on Friday offered at 4 different times during the day – folks watch from home online. Then on Saturday they meet up with friends in the area and watch the remaining hour webcast together.

I have put a sticky note on my calendar to make sure I don’t miss registration day, Monday January 14. I haven’t participated in anything like this before so I am looking forward to a new experience. I have gained so much knowledge and insights since I began my social media life. It is so exciting to me that there are so many women who love God, their families, themselves and are so willing to share and become a community, wherever they live. I am glad that the hunger women have for real friendships and sisterhood is being fed throught out the world; one blog at a time, a like, a comment, an email than can bring a blessing to a hurting heart is love in action.
