  1. yes, slowing down is this busy day to day life is a choice we need to make. Slowing down for one more kiss, one more hug one more story:-)

    Renee

  2. This morning I’m choosing to slow down by just giving God thanks for His expected and many unexpected blessings throughout the past week.:)) Stay Blessed, ladies!

  3. I am choosing to slow down today by enjoying my coffee, writing my mission fundraising letters, choosing to stop and rock in the rocking chair with my sick 2 year old…

As it rains again here in Georgia, I choose to slow down by looking into my mini-greenhouses in my living room, in awe of how God takes one seed and creates miracles from that seed.

    Thanks, Emily.
    God is so good…always.
    Melissa

  4. “But above all else, let the truth of your own belovedness gather in the sacred curves of your soul.”

Writing this in my notebook, just what I needed to hear………. thanks 🙂

  5. Thank you. I am going to chill this afternoon and enjoy life. You have a great February weekend!

  6. I love Pascal, the image, and your words here. This weekend, I’m going to rest in and trust His arm is never stretched tight.

    Enjoy your weekend, Emily.

  7. Thank you for this post….as I enter into a new chapter of my life this was a perfect summary of how I can approach it. Thank you for you sharing your wisdom and light!

  8. Winter rains fell here. Folks were fussy about the cold, the messiness of wet. Myself, I relished breathing the scent of rain and the droplets suspended from the winter berries. Rest comes with seeing better and savoring deeper.

  9. Should have read this this morning. Crazy-paced day without much accomplished, except drawing more into myself.
    Tomorrow is another day…..
    Thanks, Emily.

  10. I slow down on weekends by doing little and going no where. I usually just stay at home and veg out with tv and hubby.

    Happy weekend!@
