For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters.
But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature.
Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love.
For the whole law can be summed up in this one command:
“Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Galatians 5:13-14

What a wonderful world it would be if we all tried to “out serve” one another?! Great inspiration to start my Sunday!
Blessings,
Bev

I just received and read a post from Nightlight, a ministry that helps women trafficked into prostitution become free again. Freedom, in many forms is something we so easily take for granted, but so many do not have. As America celebrates its “freedom” on July 4, may we pray for those who are not free in body, mind, and soul.

Stunning photo! Sermon this morning was on the first 14 verses of Galatians 3 and we sang about our freedom! That freedom did not come without a sacrifice. Reflecting on the weight of our sin on Jesus…so thankful He choose to give up Himself for me so that I could be free.

Freedom… God’s gift to us through Christ, but ONLY through Him as we obey Him and love those around us. Thank you for this beautiful photo and perfect Scripture for me this day.
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 2 Corinthians 3:17

This is the freedom that many men and women are and have been fighting for. Freedom to live in Christ.
Thanks for a beautiful picture and reminder!

“Out serve each other” — Why does that sound so novel? Thanks for stirring some self-reflection.
