On this 4th of July, we are once again reminded of the privileges we enjoy–and we are exceedingly grateful for everyone who protects those freedoms. Thank you to the men and women serving our country–and thank you to the family and friends who love and support them.
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
2 Corinthians 3:17
Happy Independence Day, friends! We wish you rest and refreshment, fun with family and friends, an endless supply of chocolate and a frizz-free hair day no matter how you celebrate!

On this birthday of our nation I pray for God’s mercy to our country, I pray for His people to rise up and let their light shine in a dark world, I pray for the enemy to lose his foothold and for the lost to be drawn to salvation thru Jesus Christ. Joining with others on a prayer filled post by Beth Moore at LPM to pray for Revival to Rain Down.

May the Lord bless our economy. People are still suffering lack of jobs, businesses closing down, and losing homes. Our hope is on the Lord. May the Lord bless the men and women who defend our freedom.

Should have been in church with me Sunday. We sang “Heal our Land, Father heal our land. Hear our cry and turn our nation back to you. Lord heal our land. Hear us o Lord and heal our land. Forgive our sin and heal our broken land”. We truly need a huge dose of healing from the Almighty Father. We have strayed soo far from what He wants and what the Founding Fathers wanted.
The patriotic songs were good also. Just taking time to read the words and see the pictures they try to portray. It truly makes one sad to see this nation as it is today.
God Bless everyone and have a blessed & Happy 4th with family!
