“Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland. Isaiah 43:18-19
At (in)courage, we empower women to be like Jesus. Our writers share what’s going on in their life and how God’s right in the middle of it. They bring their joys & struggles so that you can feel less alone and be empowered by the hope Jesus gives.
What a wonderful thought as the new school year is almost upon us. (Some have even begun.)

Thank you Jesus for this encouragement. I am sitting in the hospital with my husband and I needed to hear this reminder.

Yes, we are in the process of being renewed into the spirit of Christ each day. It is up to us to cooperate with God to use whatever circumstance we encounter to be available to His working within us. In this way we will be sharpened to inscribe His Word on our hearts and in other’s lives.

This scripture is so timely. God must be trying to tell me something this weekend! Watching Joel Osteen last night–his message was “God is going to do something you’ve never seen”.
This message talks about having faith in God & even with no faith there is God’s faith in you. I truly believe that if we would just believe even in the smallest of items God will do a new thing–something we’ve never seen before!
I am so thankful to worship a holy God who continues to make all things new until the day He comes again. I love the Scripture in Isaiah and also this one in Revelation 21:6 And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” 6 And he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment. 7 The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son.
Amen! 🙂 I look forward to God’s new things in the days ahead. It has been one crazy wild adventure and journey through the wilderness. But, it’s time now for the promise land. This girl is believing that the days of promise lie ahead. Thanks for the encouragement! 🙂
