  1. I miss your blog! I love the same thing you do about a new school year, the newness and freshness of it all. I loved school, too, so I’m a fellow nerd.
Thank you for the print! It will sit on my desk so I can see it each and every day.
    Hugs.

  2. Oh gosh! I loved school too! Seeing old friends you didn’t get to spend time with during the summer was my favorite!!!! A fresh notebook was a good second! Ha ha on my tad bit of OCG (obsessive compulsive good)! But for my kids. The obvious, they are in school!!!!!!!!! But being able have new experiences. Be excited about the school carnivals and the plays. It’s all very fun! And of course all the good grades!!!!!! I loved school!!!! And. Pray they I can pass that love down to them as well!!!!!!

  3. I always loved the promise the new year held – but the excitement was always mixed with nerves — would I make friends, would I like my teachers… My son starts full-time preschool this year and it’s nervewracking!

  4. This is beautiful Jennifer! I downloaded it and will frame it. Our school year will be starting at the beginning of August so it’s perfect timing. You are so creative!

    Blessings and love,
    Debbie

  5. I loved the first football game of the new year. I was a cheerleader and LOVED running out in front of that crowd each August. Even though I did it yearly, it always felt fresh and new.

  6. I love the routine that back to school brings and of course the excitement of new learning!

  7. Thank-you so much for the print.I will find a special place for it in my home.

Back to school to me is about the fresh start.

  8. My daughters have been out of school for a long time now, but I still love a good school supply store and shopping for pencils, notebooks, ink pens, post it notes, etc., and I feel like I am back in school, but now I do it for my writing…which is even more fun.

  9. I loved the anticipation of seeing how everyone had changed coupled with showing off your newest, “cool” school supplies. By October, I could care less, hehe!

    Cute printable!

  10. The beginning of the school year reminds me of new beginnings….even more so than New Years. Time for starting over, new habits, etc…Nice printable…

  11. I’ve always referred to “back to school” time as Nerd New Year! I love the fresh start and new routines…and that was before I had kids to send off to school! Hope it’s a great new year for us all!

  12. Can’t believe that no one has mentioned the fun of labeling each new school supply! i have to force myself to let my kids help, because i love doing it so much myself!

  13. I love getting back to routine. I like being busy, to a certain extent. Back to school means back to business and no more slow slow days. Plus it brings with it some cooler fall weather.

    • I thought the alphabet would be a fun way to relate to the upcoming school year that is just getting started and the verse is a reminder of where to keep focus as we ‘head out to school’. Hope that helps. 🙂
