  1. Praise be to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I could use prayers for my son…that his heart would be opened and softened to Christ calling him back unto Himself. I pray that my son would once again be able to put his trust in a loving God. My daughter is in her first year of teaching and could use prayers as she is feeling totally overwhelmed. Thank you (in)courage for giving us the opportunity to lift others up in prayer…
    Blessings,
    Bev

    • How blessed your children are to have a Christ-centered Mom praying for them as well as enlisting others to do so. I claim Ephesians 6:13 KJV for you: “Take unto you the whole armour of God.” You are His ambassador on a holy assignment. God is for you, the Holy Spirit
is in you, Jesus is with you, and all the heavenly hosts are on your side! This is my prayer for you and your family. Hugs, Diane Clark, Hicksville, OH

    • I’d like to post a prayer request but can’t figure out how to work this website….diane clark

  2. Please pray for two things that are on my mind:

    1) I search a new place of work and it’s not easy to find something. I don’t want to move to another town but sometimes it seems neccessary…
    2) Every Sunday (sure my whole life but especially sunday’s) I want to bring the Lord my deepest love and my greatest worship. But I think it’s not easy to worship during the week so I can bring greater praise at Sunday morning. Do you feel the same?
I pray for more worship in EVERY heart because God is great and should get all our love and worship. Do you pray too?
    Thank you all!

(Bev: your son is already and constantly in my prayers! Feel hugged, my dear.)

    • My dear Rosie,
Thank you for your continued prayer for my son…you are a blessing! I am praying for you about where God would have you work and you have such a beautiful heart in earnestly wanting to praise God all the time – that in and of itself is an act of worship. Thanking God for you!!
      ((Hugs)),
      Bev

      • Rosie,

Praying for a great job to show up close to where you live. It can’t be easy in this economy, but God’s timing is perfect and He knows the plans He has for you!

        Lord Jesus,

Please give Rosie the job you want her to have. Place her where she will be a light shining through the darkness. Lord I ask you to surround Rosie with your loving arms and comfort her as she searches for the job you want her to have.

Also–Help her to have quiet worship time each and every day. Show her the way to shower her love on you!

        AMEN!

Unfortunately we lost the baby through miscarriage so it has been really difficult for us. Please pray for continued hope and strength to not get discouraged. • shawnda, may God wrap His loving arms around you and your husband and comfort you as only He can do, as He holds that little love safely in Heaven!!!
and i will be praying for you as my heart is heavy for my daughter and her husband also. God blesses in so many ways, but He will also give us the desire of our hearts according to HIS will….and His will is sooooo much better than ours. so i do not know why these things happen, but i do know, that in His infinite mercy, He will satisfy the longing of your heart, as He will for my daughter, out of His abundant love!!!
God’s blessings as you walk in Him!!!

  5. Melissa, I will be praying for you and your husband! I have seen our Lord perform many life-changing miracles in this area! Keep the faith my friend, He works all things together for our ultimate good!

I am asking for prayer today for my children. Especially my 2 older girls. My 13 year old struggles with body image issues and the feeling that she is not really good at anything. My 11 year old is a natural runner/athlete, but she has been struggling for many months now with inter-personal relationships and an extremely negative attitude. My 11 year old has been involved in some sort of “girl drama” almost daily since school started. I don’t even know what to say or how to try to help her at this point. I hate to wish our lives away, but I find myself praying for junior high to be over! We need some grace!

  6. Thank you so much for words of encouragement and prayer and a you ladies and your situations have been lifted to the throne this morning.

  10. My husband has been suffering with sciatica for over a month. Please pray tht I will be more sympathetic & be a true helpmate for him. Pray that I will not be judgemental about what he feels he can & cannot do. Also pray for my so s to return to a relationship with The Lord.
    Thank you,

  11. I’m asking for prayer for a revival in the Lord. Lately I feel like I’m just going thru the motions – and I don’t like this wilderness feeling. I know that life can leave you feeling weary (and I’ve felt like I ran out of gas when my son was murdered several years ago).

I go to church, I pray and ask God to let me feel His presence again – but it’s the time when I don’t feel Him that I’m most afraid.

I need the Lord now more than ever – I need to feel His arms around me and to let me know it’s okay – He’s there.

    God Bless you.

  12. Amber, I pray for you for wisdom with your daughters, and that your oldest would come to view herself as the beautiful creation that God sees her as…and that your youngest would be led to godly, Christian friendships and both would protected from the pull of worldly views and relationships. I pray that you all know and feel God’ s love and presence through this all.

Today, I ask for prayer for my family. I am older and pregnant for the first time (with twins). I am nearly 12weeks. There is so much uncertainty , fear, and worry. I ask prayer for wisdom, peace, guidance, patience and love and good health for all……pregnancy is just the beginning….and everything is swarming through my head….all the years to come…..milestones,parental struggles….God bless Amber for sharing! Thank you all. In His Love~ A

    • April, thank you for the prayers! This world is not an easy place to raise Christian daughters, I thank my sweet Father for his goodness and grace, it is the only thing that gets me, us through!

April, I will keep you in my prayers! What an incredibly exciting and terrifying time! Just lean in to your King, He is constantly at work for us. Our only true peace and strength comes from fully trusting in His plans for us! He truly does work all things together for our ultimate good, this I know! Lots of love and prayer coming your way! and keep us updated on those twins! 🙂

  13. Would be great if you could prayer for me, going through a really difficult time and seem to go from trial to trial, Would really like a breakthrough.

  14. April, I will be prayin for you today, in this week.
Dear heavenly father, a lift up April to you. I pray that you might help her to BREATHE. I pray that you might carry her from one moment to the next. I pray that you would calm her fears and hold her in the shadow of your wing. I praise you and thank you that you are waiting in the future with her and just as you have provided for her and every hurdle in her past you will continue to help her through one obstacle after another and her future, right by her side. Amen
My prayer for my hubbs big test and a very uncertain future w a move, new job ( hopefully) and my sons extensive sp needs…therapists schools etc.

  15. I need prayers for my adult children. I desire they draw closer to God our Father and feel His unconditional love since they have been rejected by their father. I pray God heals their hurting hearts and uses them for His wonderful purpose.

  16. Please ask God for courage for me to love my friend well as she walks through the valley of the shadow of death. (Young mom with stage 4 metatastic breast cancer).

  17. I need encouragement in starting a ministry for those suffering with chronic pain. I need to get a website going, write, etc. I want to be obedient to God through all of this, and truly encourage those in need. I have chronic pain myself due to degenerative disc disease, so somedays it is hard to get a lot accomplished. Thank you for your prayers!

    • Becky, there is a website on facebook for both fibrofighters, and fibromyalgia; as well as chronic pain. Thanks for joining this group, as many of them are angry, self-seeking, Pray for me to receive God’s healing, and wisdom as we debate whether to try alternative treatment for my degenerative disc disease, much pain, and healing so I can serve again in the ways I did. If this will glorify God, ask Him to bring it about. Thanks. Bev

  18. Two items:

    1) Please pray for reconciliation if relationships within my family, between me and my children. I honestly feel like quitting. My children do not even act like brothers and sisters. And I feel at times like I don’t matter to them. Many hurts. Many tears.

    2) Please pray for wisdom regarding financial responsibilities.

  19. Good morning Ladies
I will be praying for you & your family, April…praying for your strength & peace of mind…as well as for the health of your twins.
Please say a prayer for me and my family as well.

  20. Yes, please pray for me & my husband. I filed divorce papers last week. My heart feels like it’s been ripped out of my chest.

  21. Please pray that I can figure out how to make money from home (I live on a farm in the middle of nowhere) and pray for my brother.

  22. Cindy, I pray that your family finds the reconciliation you need and that you find the wisdom for your financial responsibilities.

I pray for the strength to get out of bed everyday. I am deeply depressed and find it difficult to even put my feet on the floor, some days I can’t even do that. I’ve just recently found the lord Jesus in my life and will continue to pray for help. Amen

    • Valerie,

I pray you will feel God’s presence and that he will give you peace and find strength in Him for each new day. The more you trust Him, the more you find Him trust-worthy. Listening to praise and worship always lifts my spirits as I give Him praise. This also takes the focus off me and on Him, and I know that’s good for both of us. God bless you as you learn more about Him. I trust you are reading His word and learning to grow.

May God be with you. His mercies are new every morning. Know that you are loved, even if you don’t FEEL it, you are. I don’t know your physical needs, but God does. I think this site is great where we can reach out to others and pray for them and ask for prayer ourselves.

Learning to trust Him more each day.

    • Jan,

I know it means a lot to your Mother just knowing that you love her and you’re there for her. That alone is a healing balm. I praise God for your love for her and your concerns.

You might read to her and/or give her praise and worship CD’s or show her websites she can visit if she’s on the computer. Many resources here and I thank God for this one. We need each other. I see other needs that are like my own and we can pray for each other.

My prayer is for the salvation of my two grandsons and my granddaughter who is struggling with depression and self worth. I feel the devil is really out there after our precious young people. They need our love and prayers. Thank you

  23. Please pray for our daughter. She gets nauseated and throws up. She is not pregnant and has an important event to participate in today. Also please pray the Dr’s will figure out what is causing this. Thank you so much.

  24. My prayers are for each of you before me,

    They are this,
I pray for broken hearts to heal and for your pain and sorrow to be erased.

I pray that you will find the strength, courage and wisdom if needed and for acceptance when in doubt.

    Many blessings to you all,

    Penny

  25. please pray: my husband and I are believing God for His blessings of the fruit of the womb and feeling bad cos age medically is no longer on our side.
we as a ffamily has been believing God to grant my brothers good job and healings of my parents.
I ask for success in my license exam and a good job to follow.
God’s favour on my husband in his work place …Amen.

  26. So many prayer requests spoken here…God sees, knows, and answers our deepest desires. I can relate to so many of the requests, and have experienced God’s faithfulness in every area. My prayer request is for my oldest daughter who has walked far from the Lord. Praying for a return.
AMBER, MESLISSA our daughter lost her all of her identity when she embraced anorexia at 13. But God has broken that addiction {and others} and today she is a walking, talking warrior for God. I pray over your daughter, that she would know who God is IN her. Praying Jer.29:11-12 over your girls.
ANN, BEV…we have a daughter who has wandered far from the God of her youth. Such great pain we bear as mama’s of kids who need the Lord, but have hardened their hearts. I pray Jer.31:16-17 over you right now.
CHERLYN, R…Oh how I know what it’s like “going through the motions”. I pray restoration over you today. Our God is a Redeemer. He sees you. He loves you. He’s with you. May the Holy Spirit be your Comforter and Peace and may you rest in the shadow of His wings. Putting your names on a card and will continue to pray for you.
Thank you (in)courage for the opportunity to both post a request and pray for others!

But we are further along in the journey than some and have seen God’s faithfulness in every area.

  27. I pray that my children will get to know and accept God and look to him for guidance in their lives. Thank you so much for InCourage.

  28. I need prayers for my youngest daughter. She is at a place where she needs to take off and fly on her own. I need prayers that her father and I will hear the Lord’s direction and so will she. She is almost 17 and needs to take up the reins and move her life forward.

    • Age 17 seems so young to me, of course I’m 65 now and that was a long time ago. Are you sure you don’t want to keep her in the nest longer and help her wings to get strong first? Continue to seek the Lord in this. I imagine she is a handful, as most teens are and you would like a break away from the drama. I pray for God’s wisdom, His love and guidance in this situation. Be Jesus to her. When she moves her life forward, it may be a scarier place than where she is now. I pray for her and also for you and your husband that God will make himself real that you may walk in truth and light.

  29. Our friend Sierra had a stroke/heart attack last week and we want the ask the Lord to restore her and give her husband, Earl, strength as they go thru this time together. Also that their financial needs would be met by the Lord.

    • Dear Vicki,

I’ve been praying for you for some weeks now concerning the family misunderstanding and the adoption, and I hope that there is progress and you can see how well He deals with it.

      Angelika

  30. Vicky, I will pray for your daughter and her family, that god will provide the healing, the strenght, the peace, the unity that is needed in an overwhelming way.
I need prayers to come out of the pit. It has been a year and a half that my husband has left, still is with his mistres and even thought we are still married he has no intentions of repentance or changing. I still miss him and am very sad. I am on the pit of regrets, self condemnation, stuck in the past, i think is too late for me, that I am too old to begin a life with anyone else. Please pray for gods deliverance for me.

    • Sheila, my heart goes out to you and you experience lose. It’s like a death in the family. I pray God will restore you as you depend on Him and look forward to a victorious future depending on Jesus alone. He is able. He is enough. Let Him love on you. HE completes you.

I pray these feelings of guilt, regret, sorrow, grief, self condemnation will melt away as you turn your eyes toward Jesus. It takes time, but healing will come. Let him go, but continue to pray for him as well.

It may not be too late for you, you don’t know what God has in store for you. Just trust Him. I know, easy to say, more difficult to do. You’ll find Him trust-worthy as He has proven Himself over and over and over again.

Lord I pray for Sheila, that You will help her move forward. Deliver her from the past and help her to move forward. Help her find a new ministry where she can reach out to others and realize she is not alone, others are hurting as well.

  31. Vicki,

I will be praying for your friend, Sierra and her husband. May God speed her healing and lighten her husband’s load and take care of their financial situation. May He bless them both and you too!

I would like to ask for prayers for my five children, all of whom are going through different situations right now. Please pray that God will work on their hearts to draw them closer to Him and find their ways to His goodness. I would also like to ask for prayers for my grandchildren and step-grandchildren for protection and safety from the evils of this world. Last but not least, I would like prayers for my 88-year-old father who is not doing well, and for my brother and his wife who need a closer relationship with our Lord and Savior. I thank God for all of you and your prayers! I will be praying for all of you.

  32. I am so grateful for this opportunity .
I need prayer for our son a and his family. He is on a Coast Guard assignment far away from home.
I need prayed for our daughter that suffers from PTSD, bipolar disorder, and a traumatic brain injury.
I need prayer for myself as I am dealing with some hormonal imbalance , that I think are the cause of blood pressure and anxiety problems, and will be seeing the Dr. next week.
And, please pray for my husband and his business, as he deals with it through these hard economic times, and is the head of our family with everything else.
I thank you for pray, and praise or Heavenly Father for all his wonderful care.

  33. Sheila and Nancy,

Your prayers requests appeared as I was typing mine, so I missed them. Sheila, I have been where you are right now. It is NEVER too late. I thought my life was over, but I am now happier than I have ever been before. God can do anything and He will pull you out of that pit. I am praying for you right now. Nancy, I will pray that God provides you with a job and for your ministry.

  34. Oh, Sheila, my heart breaks for you. I have been through something similar. And, if you’re anything like me, I ran the years through my mind in slow motion and beat myself up over my mistakes for a long time. You are a child of God. You deserve happiness and love and everything that is beautiful in this worldly life. I am praying for you today – that the Lord who flung the star in the sky and created every living creature will heal your hurting. May you be lifted up and wrapped in His loving arms.

I humbly ask for prayers of discernment. I’ve stepped out on faith and what I think God is directing me toward in my profession, only to be met with rejections. And now I’m doubting whether or not the tugging I feel is really Him or just my own wants & desires. I’m doubting whether or not I have anything worth sharing. Perhaps it’s all in my mind.

    • Jessica,
My heart thanks you for the prayers and receives the blessings of the lord.
I am praying that God will give you clear guidance, discernment and a solid confirmation of his voice on this path in your career. Sometimes we need to meet some rejections or no’s to encounter the door that is open for us. You will be stronger and ready for the challenge. Of course, you have something valuable to offer, all of us do; even me in the midst of this huge pain, have something to offer. God will guide you, believe it, confess it and declare it.

  35. Please pray for my friend Margaret. She was diagnosed with breast cancer a few years ago and thought her treatment was successful. Unfortunately her doctors believe the cancer has returned and may have spread to her bones. She is continuing tests to come up with an accurate diagnosis. She is 44 years old, married with an 11 year old daughter. Thank you.

  36. Carletta- I’ll b praying for all of ur family’s troubles & woes…

  37. My husband, Ron, is looking for a new job. Thankfully, he still has a job, but the job is moving out of state. Please pray that God will provide a new job in VA before December 31. Thank you, and God bless you all!

  38. Jessica, I am praying today that Jesus will make clear to you how you should continue. Keep looking to him for direction and try, although it is hard, to take one step at a time in obedience to Jesus’ direction. I pray that Jesus will comfort you in times of rejection and that he will reveal to you how special you are in his eyes. The only ones that really matter. In Jesus’ name, amen

  39. Our Women’s Bible Study is planning and working on our annual retreat (this is our 18th year) to the Lake. May the Lord bless us in abundant ways as we purpose to draw closer to Him and one another! Miracles, Joy overflowing, answers to prayer, Hope, “ta-da” moments. Thank you Lord for your unending Grace and Mercy! AMEN.

  40. Prayer for jobs in Pensacola, FL for my husband and I. We desire to move there from Sumter, SC. Need our house in Sumter to sell and for God’s perfect timing on jobs, the selling, the move, and the buying in Pensacola. It all feels pretty overwhelming as we have prepared our house to sell, but have felt His Hand guiding, leading and directing us. It feels close and I feel 8 months pregnant with it.. Thank you for your prayers.

  41. Good morning loves! (I am a night owl and even more so on weekends from habit),

I just turned on my computer with the intention of heading to my (in)courage group (in)life after 50. I was going to ask for prayers. It is still my intention, after this 🙂

When I turn on my computer it goes straight to my (in)box (LOL). Today? My (in)courage email, first one, right on top, saying: How can we pray for you? Isn’t that a blessing? God gives me such good care.

I don’t leave my apartment much as I am disabled and have no transportation. Tomorrow I have to take a cab to the clinic lab for a 7:10 am blood test. And the following day I have a doctors appointment at 4:20 pm. The test and appointment are no issue, just a yearly check up that I put off every 18 months until I can no longer put it off 🙂

I need prays for the actual trips, dragging my oxygen tank, use a wheel chair or not? and anxiety. I have been talking to God steadily for some time about all of this. Please give me strength to make it to the cab. (Normally I only walk in my apartment and use some type of chair when I leave but with a cab??)

Bless you all for your thoughts and prayers.

Linda you did not leave a request so I will pray that God gives you peace, strength, and great joy in your life and guidance throughout your days. You are loved.

    Love to you and yours,
    Patty

    • Dear Lord, please stand with and within Patty tomorrow, and as she goes through life. I ask specifically for strength for her tomorrow, that she can wrangle her equipment without trouble. I also ask for others to show her grace and aid, to enable her to make it through these next through days. Thank you, Lord, for your healing grace!

    • dear patty,
i think it is so wonderful how our Lord has us open this at just the right time to pray for just the right person. the minute i read your request the Lord prompted my heart to reply to you. i have recently been through Many health issues, including infection, surgery, and later the er with some heart problems. i have also experienced quite a bit of anxiety. i would try to fight it, but finally have realized that as i give it Totally to the Lord( basically, yes, though He slay me right here and now, still i will trust Him). most people’s ultimate fear is death–not mine–it’s the pain and suffering that sometimes comes before that. it’s the what is this?, and how do i do that? and frozen ability to step out in faith that is the fear. i am praying that right now–He who knows you, sees , you and still has plan and purpose for your life will take away that fear and replace it with His Peace==that passes all understanding.
He has delivered ALL who call on Him, who trust Him, who give it up~~to Him!!! i just know that He will enable you to do this. i wish i knew where you live, i would come drive you to your appt. are there not friends, church members, or family to get you there? i am praying for that also, for the person who needs to do so to step up and make their ability to help you known.
you are never alone~~Jesus is with you always, Always!!!
      because of His Great love,
      barbra

  42. Fellow (in)couragers, I need very specific prayer: my husband & I have been through a several years-long season of “poverty” – he has been under-employed since closing his business, and it’s only by the grace of God that we scrape by from my paycheck to paycheck. Please pray that God enable my husband to earn more money – we have no savings, have no financial “cushion” and fall deeper and deeper into debt every month. Thank you!

  43. Printed out the lists of requests and will be lifting you all up in prayer…thank you for doing this!
Just needing prayer for my husband’s upcoming surgery…
    would like to get pregnant….
would like answers if we should adopt still and if we should pursue mission work..
    Thank you all so much….
    God is an Awesome God!

  44. Thank you all for your dedication to God and for your compassion for his people. Your willingness to pray for others amazes me.

With that said I pray for you Patty that God would reveal himself in a very real and tangible way. Giving you the strength to make it to your appointments and wisdom to make the best choices for your transportation. Also that He would bring much needed relief in your body and in your everyday life. Stay strong and keep looking up.

Please pray for me to walk fully and fearlessly with God in a more intimate way. I need more hunger and desire for Him and boldness to live the gospel.

Thank you sooooo much for agreeing with me in these prayers.

    God bless you!
    Melissa Seudath

  45. Abba Father,
I thank you so very much for your mercy and grace. I thank you that you desire intamacy with us your children. Abba, bless Melissa with an increased hunger for you. With growth in intimacy let her feel that you are near and show yourself mighty on her behalf! Your Word says that if we draw near to you, you will draw near to us. Blessings and glory and honor to you and you alone
    precious Lord!
I ask this day to be covered in prayer for restoration and healing of emotional wounds. For freedom from fear, anxiety and depression.
In the precious name of Jesus!!!

  46. Please pray for the restoration of our family. My husband of 15 years moved out a month ago leaving myself and our 2 children. The pain of abandonment and rejection is overwhelming. He has been my best friend for so long.

    • Brandy..I’m praying that he will know the love of God..its Gods love that will draw him back..I sooo understand rejection..I pray God will open the eyes of your understanding to how much He loves you and wants to take care of you. Everything the devil meant for harm God will turn it for good.
      Blessings!!!

  47. I have been standing in faith for 7 years for restoration. My husband was incarcerated for 7 years..I wanted to leave him so many times but God did not want this. Everything we had was taken..lovely home..family abandoned us..vehicle. I have such bad credit now..for 7 years all that I had left has been in storage and I had to live with someone. I’m 65 yrs now and I want a home of my own and a vehicle. Restoration of all the devil has stolen..

    • Connie, I pray that you will have peace and restoration in your family. Through Him, all things are possible. May God send you strength and faith. Hang in there, sister.

Please pray for me. I am considering marriage and am not sure if this is the right decision. Please pray that I may hear and understand God’s wishes for me at this time. Thank you!

      • Dear Mary,
I pray that God will show you what His wishes and will are for you at this time, and that He will bless you with great understanding and good decisions as you seek to discern what to do and where He is leading you. You have such wonderful courage to seek God’s guidance for your life and especially to ask honestly if marriage is really what God wants for you right now–that takes such strength and honesty! You are an inspiration! I pray that you will continue to be totally open to God’s will and that He will enable you to understand exactly what you should do and should not do. Sending you many prayers, hugs, and love!
Dear Lord, I lift up Mary to You today, thanking You for her desire to please You and to know Your will for her life right now–bless her for her great courage and love for You! Please reveal Your will for her to her at this time…show her both what You are truly calling her to and what You are not in fact calling her to. If she is truly called to marriage, show her that…and if she is called already to a particular person, show her that as well. If she is called to marriage but perhaps not to a particular person who she may already have in mind, show her that as well. But if she is not called to marriage at this time at all right now, please show her that very clearly also and enable her to truly understand it and accept it and act on it. If she has any uncertainty at all about Your will for her or about the idea of marriage, then please don’t let her get involved in an engagement or in a particular relationship or anything else that she will regret later on–don’t let her make any mistakes! If she is already engaged or in a serious relationship but has doubts, then please let her break it off and not go any further and not get married if it’s not Your will for her right now. Show her how wonderful it is to be single, whether for just a season of life or for longer, so as to be able to be totally available to You and be always able to experience Your love and care in such a profound way…show her the beauty and joy of being single, if that is what You are calling her to right now. But whatever Your will is for her right now, enable her to truly understand it correctly and to be totally open to it, knowing that Your ways are always best and that You always have her best interests in mind at all times and that You know what’s best for her even better than she knows it herself. Be with her and bless her and embrace her with Your love! In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.

    • Connie,

I lift you up and pray that God will restore all that the devil has stolen.. .I pray that you will feel His presence and that others around you will encourage you. I wish my words were better but my heart goes out to you and I pray the spirit will intercede with me to help you. Blessings!

    • Connie,

I will pray for you and your marriage… that God will be able to strengthen your marriage in ways you never imagined. I pray that God will bless your obedience as you continue to be the wife he wants to you to be. I can tell you are a very strong person.
I pray he will provide for your financial needs.
I am going to thank the Lord for how is going to answer our prayers.
Hang in there. Though I don’t know you, I love you!
Debbie – Your Sister in Christ

I would love to request prayers for God to show me direction with my current job as I think he is pushing me to do something else, but have not idea what it is. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

  48. I have been ill for several weeks and am now planning to go back to work. I am a specialist nurse and my job is hectic but not only that I have had my office moved and it is a mess, I am worried that I may not be up to all of this and would value prayer that I am going back at the right time. I am also thinking of retiring and taking on a part time job so I need prayer so much at the moment.
I am praying for Connie and her situation

  49. Love never gives up.
“Be still, and know that I am God.”
Brandy, please know I will be covering you, and your precious children, in prayer. I do not know the circumstances, but God does. Remain faithful. Stay focused on God.

Please pray for me and my job. I changed jobs after 20 years, believing I was entering a position in a faith- based facility. Many of my colleagues are Christians, but the leadership is somewhat wreckless and has created havock and confusion in my life, as well as many others. My health is not good, and this has triggered some issues, which makes the entire situation worse. I want this job to work out. I believe our God placed me there. But, if not, I must have some place to go. Also, my daughter, who lives 2000 miles away is in a bad relationship and needs the strength to get out. Please pray for her.

  50. We have been in our new location for 6 months. Please pray for good friends and that God will guide us. Things have not worked out with my husband’s job as we were told so our finances are tight. Praying God will help us to spend wisely and to sell some things we don’t need to pay for some medical bills. I pray that I am an encourager to my husband and son once again because my bucket is feeling pretty empty without any girlfriends. Thank you!

  51. Linda
    I typed so long
I was still on Brandy! Now….
I am praying for you as well. I am a nurse too! Blessings galore!!

  52. Oh Father! We know that you love marriage and that it is a picture of your covenant with us. In the name of Jesus, I pray for the restoration of Brandy’s marriage. Bring godly men alongside her husband to point him back to you and to Brandy. While her husband is struggling, be a husband to Brandy and a father to their children. Woo her husband back.

Please pray for our family. Our daughter is in the hospital with an eating disorder. I must stay with her. My husband doesn’t understand and is not able to give grace. He has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. my younger daughters are really struggling with
my absence and one is showing signs of high anxiety. I know part of this whole sootiatoon

  53. Linda, may the Great Physician touch you with his powerful healing hands. I’m praying for you to be strengthened in spirit and in body as you face this transition and walk forward faithfully moment by moment, day by day.

Please pray for my marriage to receive strengthening and refreshment. My husband struggles as a high-functioning alcoholic and I battle daily to love and respect him as I should. I want so much for our relationship to have a new, fresh start in Christ.

  54. I will pray for everyone and ask you to pray for my situation. The only man I have ever loved has left me after twenty five years of marriage. I have been as strong as I can for myself and my boys, but I find every day difficult. I need strength and the motivation to go on. Thank you.

    • Lifting you in prayers and that you can feel God holding you; just take each moment a step at a time. God is before you always guiding your path. Praying for healing for your heart.

  55. Please pray as I am walking in faith that God is working in my life to have me move from my current career to full time ministry. I have confirmation from my friends and pastor, but still would ask for prayers that this would be what God may have for me and my family. Thank you! Praying for those who have left requests here.

  56. Praying for you Cilla in these difficult days.

I ask that you pray for my husband & I as he will need to find a new job before the end of the year, since his current one will end and also a place to live as well. We have no idea how far we may need to move, but trust God has the right place for us to minister to others now and in the future.

  57. Please pray for my unsaved husband, Thomas. I remind myself that “Thomas came to believe!” Pray that he, like the apostle will come to believe. Also for my prodigal sons, Matthew and Michael.

I’m praying for Jill that her husband finds a new job, and a new home because I believe that the Lord will provide. God Bless Jill and her husband!

  58. Jill I pray that you may know God holding you in His hand at this time. Also remember his ways are not always our ways but he knows the plans he has for you plans to prosper you and not to harm you if you follow him in all his ways. Also the passage from Joel (I think about him restoring the years the locust has eaten). Hope this encourages and blesses you.

I ask for prayer as I am finding life a bit overwhelming at the moment it’s the day to day dealing with living in a van, my husband is just moving the kitchen round and there is no running water or sink. Everything is misplaced. We are all grumpy and full if cold. I can’t seam to keep up with basic things like school reading and physio for my daughters. There is more stuff but I would just love prayer.
    Bless you

  59. Anna I lift your family up in prayer. That The Lord will meet every need!! Trust in The Lord and lean not on your own understanding.

AliciA, prayer for me and my family. Prayers for my grand children , my sister Denise who is out of work and has no money coming in at this time.

  60. Praying for everyone who has posted a prayer request. It is a privilege and honor to bring your petitions before the Lord.

But more importantly remember that Jesus knows and hears us – even when we think He’s a million miles away – through our wildernesses, brokenness, hurt, pain, and the disillusionment of life.

May God answer each and every one of your prayers and may the peace of God be upon each of you right now. In Jesus Name I pray.

God Bless and hold down to Jesus with all you got.

  61. Praising God for many things!!
The ministry of (in)courage and the ways they touch women’s lives around the world!
The closing of the sale of our home in AR.
The kindness of the folks we are buying our home in KY from, and asking for on-time closing on Wednesday.
This very morning, the way God called us to prayer in our Missions Leadership Team meeting!
Praying for each of the requests above mine… “for where 2 or 3 gather…” and I believe even gathering online in agreement counts!! 🙂

    • Marina,

Congratulations on selling your home in AR. Prayers for a smooth closing on Wednesday and a simple move to KY. May God continue to bless you and your family!

You always bless others with your words and prayers! God Bless!!

  62. I have read all the postings here and ask God to restore health, relationships, and jobs for so many. I ask that He give you all guidance and understanding during these times of uncertainty and pain. I ask that families be strengthened and united in Christ. I thank God for this community of women in prayer.

  63. Life is good in Christ Jesus. Pray for my husband Bob to truly grasp the love of Christ. He is a good husband and a person who gives much. He needs to know he is truly loved for who he is.

  64. My request is for my adult daughter Heather and her bf R. He is living in our home as he was put out of his familys home. He is having difficulty getting a job and it is awkward. She would like to marry but he doesnt want marriage till he can work. She needs wisdom as to whether R is the right one for her. Especially when he is in a tight spot.
Alicia I too have grand chilren neding prayer. And I remember Denise in her need for work. I prsy you will see G od work in a might way. Cilla i pray God wraps his arms about you as we ask for comfort and perhaps reconciliation?

  65. I have several prayer requests to mention:

    2) Sharon T. has either cervical or bladder cancer and has had breast cancer in the past. She works part time in our clinic and teaches.

    3) Paula Dillon, friend from church, has colon cancer and is headed to Nashville on Friday to see if all cancer is gone. She’s had surgery.

    4) Her sister-in-law Sandra Bennett has lung cancer. She has had melanoma.
    5) The Bennett family just lost their father to leukemia and are dealing with it daily.
    6) Elaine Kemp has breast cancer and needs surgery
    7) Elaine’s husband has leukemia and is not going to take treatments.
    8) END TO CANCER!
    9) Prayers for aging parent.
    10) Prayers for government to get back to work–my boss’s husband has been out of work for 2 weeks now and is not liking this!

    11) Prayers for a sister who is having marriage troubles.

Thanks everyone! Blessings to ALL IN (COURAGE) FOLKS!

  66. I would like prayer for my husband’s health. I am worried about various symptoms he displays, yet he is hesitant to get to the doctor for advice and help. Also, please pray for some dear friends who are in a desperate immigration problem that seems impossible to fix. I do know that nothing is impossible for God. Thank you.

    • Mary
I lift up your husband in prayer and for your dear friends that things will be fixed so there will be less stress. Know that with God nothing is impossible. he has a plan and He is leading you all.
      blessings
      Tammy

  67. Beth, I pray for all your friends and loved ones who are suffering from cancer, that God would just reach in and heal them. That they would all be aware of His love and Presence, and draw strength from that. I pray for your sister’s marriage and the people you know suffering during the government shutdown.

I would like to ask for prayer for my pregnancy. I am nine weeks pregnant and we are overjoyed, but we are also scared because we faced a loss several years back, and it scarred me a lot emotionally. We have two healthy kids and this one is our third but I have just been burdened with fear, stress, discouragement, and anxiety. I ask that you would pray for the health of this baby and that we can meet the challenges with faith, hope, and love. Thank you.

    • Anne, I’m lifting you up in prayer right now. Stand on His word because the enemy would just love to steal your peace. God is in control, not Satan. The enemy wants to deceive you into believing that he is in control but greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. God is holding that precious life you are carrying in the palm of His hand. His word says, “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7 NIV Also, remember that, “The peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7 NIV

    • Anna,

Prayers for God to relieve the stress, anxiety and discouragement which only comes from the devil.

      Lord Jesus,

Surround Anna and her husband during her pregnancy. Show her your love & mercy. Help her to rid herself of any stress, anxiety and discouragement. Give her peace and contentment that all will be well. For you know the plans you have for us!

      AMEN!

  68. Someone with whom I’ve been acquainted with for several years is in a deep, dark abyss of depression because of his addiction to pornography. Please pray that he be delivered from his addiction. Thank you.

  69. I ask for words of wisdom as I visit with parents about the child’s progress in my class. That they will see God has made them special, but not perfect, and that they are truly cared for by me. I have a tough class and many nights I am home with lots of work to get ready for next day. it is exhausting especially for soul who needs breathable moments to refresh. But I know God is using this for something and I trust Him. Just knowing there are prayers makes me feel better.
    thanks so much

    • Dear Tammy,
I understand well; I taught first grade for 17 years and fifth grade for 10. My heart was in those children, and I wanted the best for each one. Sometimes it was difficult to talk with parents about an opportunity for positive change for their child without them taking it very personally.
May God prepare the hearts of each parent to be open and receptive to you, Tammy. I pray that God’s Spirit will direct you as you prepare for each talk; I pray that you will have just what you need to reach each one with sincerity so that both teacher and parents can understand each other clearly. I pray that you will feel your best, rested and prepared; that each parent will feel comfortable in your presence.
I thank you, Father, for Tammy’s desire to have You involved in her teaching and all that comes with that. I pray that you will bless her intentions and every aspect of her teaching life.
And, finally, Tammy, just know that as long as you feel sure in your own heart that you are doing what is best for your students, it will work out in the end. You will bless each of them and they will certainly bless your life, too.
      In Christ,
      Gretchen

  70. I have read the prayer requests and each of you are in my thoughts and prayers. I am asking that you please pray for me as I am living in chronic pain, sometimes debilitating. I have also been having severe anxiety and have been having trouble getting out. I get horrific migraines everyday, and I feel so bad for my husband of forty years, he wants to help but there is nothing he can do.
Thank you, I feel better just knowing I have given this to God with your help.

    • Dear Lisa,
I just read your prayer request and felt moved to reply. I am so very sorry for both the physical pain and the emotional pain you are dealing with. Pain can override almost everything and add to whatever else is happening in our lives.

I pray that you will feel the very Presence of God moving In your life to not only take away the physical pain you have but also to calm the anxiety as well. I pray that you will feel enveloped in his healing and tender care. May He also bless your husband with understanding in all ways.

God bless you, Lisa. You are right…just letting it go and trusting that God will take care of you is the path he would want you to take.

From personal experience, find a lovely scripture, such as Psalm 23; when anxiety comes, recite this scripture over and over until you feel your breath beginning to calm. And do not hesitate to ask your medical professional for help with it. It is as real as your physical pain.

      In Christ,
      Gretchen

  71. Work on editing a Creole health book for a new printing has ground to a stop. I’ve lost my motivation after working on it regularly during a visit in the USA during Aug/Sept. This book can help many improve their health, physical and spiritual, and yet it’s like I’ve hit a road block I can’t get around. Praying for freedom, motivation and effectiveness.

Secondly our adoption dossier lacks one document to be sent to Haiti. Hearing different things about the new matching method including that no-one has matched for months in the new system. Praying that our children will be at the creche at the right time and that the Lord will open the needed doors for families to come together including ours. Thank you.

  72. Tammy, I will pray that God will give you the strength to teach and to speak to the parents that you mentioned. I also pray that god will bless you with times of refreshment.

I have been called into a meeting with my boss at 10 am on Tuesday morning. Things have not been going well in my management position. I am burnt out and not finding joy in my job. I also greatly misunderstood my boss regarding the hours I am to work. I take ownership of this misunderstanding but I cannot take ownership for all of the issues. It has been a tough year with many changes and I don’t have any reserves left. I’m scared.

  73. Susan, I will pray that the Lord will give you a new strategy for your work. That God would lead you to another position that fits your strengths and schedule better OR that the Lord would work out a solution with your current boss and hours. I pray joy over your life Susan

Please pray for my son. He is 26 and has strayed far from the Lord and is filled with bitterness and anger. I feel so overwhelmed with grief for him because I know that he has a great call from the Lord on his life for the lost. God, I want my son back! Please pray for my words to pierce his heart and that he would be willing to listen to all of those who love him. Thank you so much.

  74. My husband and I left our home and hometown (of over 40 years) to become part of my military daughter’s family. We love being all together….along with our 7, 4, and 2 year old grandchildren.
Recently all of us moved a good distance away from the rest of our family. Where it was a 3 hour drive for a visit, it is now at least 11. I am just feeling a bit displaced and homesick for what is familiar. I would like to find just the right church, a good Christian friend…or group of women friends. I am missing that sense of community that I was so accustomed to.
Thank you for your thoughts; I truly welcome your prayers.

    • Dear Gretchen

what a big step that was for you and your husband that you moved after so many years at the same place and then moved even further away. You must be a wonderful family that you do this for each other! I can understand that you’re feeling homesick and alone. I’m sure He will gave you the company you’re longing for. I’ll think of you and pray for you.

      Angelika

(Sorry for my mistakes, English isn’t my first language.)

  75. My issue is still the same as it was the last time. I’m still struggling with my diploma thesis. The deadline is the end of december. I absolutely don’t know how to get the time to write. There is the job and my children (I’m a single mom) and all the many little things related to them. I am so tired and I often panic and then I can’t think clearly. The last time I wrote here I felt so supported afterwards, it gave me a real boost. Please pray for me that I make good use of the rare hours I can spend writing and that I’m concentrated and confident. And that there’s always someone to give me a boot if necessary 😉

    Thank you so much.

    Angelika

    • Angelika, I’ll pray that the Father will give you strength and a clear mind to be able to wright your thesis. I also pray that you find the time to wright, and to manage your time wisely. I’m a mother of four and my youngest is 2 months old. So I can sympathize with not having a lot of spear time. It seems there isn’t enough hours in a day! Cast all your fear and anxieties on Him who made you and loves you! And wants the best for you! =)

I praise the Lord for my salvation! Please pray for my marriage and my husband. He is an alcoholic. And I struggle with his alcohol abuse. I left him for about 3 months because of it. I’m back but I slowly see him going back to the way it was before I left. I do see the Lord is working on Him. But he can’t get free from his alcoholism without Christ! We are going in about a week to the weekend to remember. Its a couples retreat.(If you haven’t heard of it you should check it out) Pray that we will take what God wants to teach us on this weekend and apply it to our marriage. And that my husband might receive Jesus as Lord!

  76. Praise God for my many blessings! Please pray for my eldest daughter who is suffering with Hepatitis C. Her liver has been damaged and she will eventually require a liver transplant. She has just begun a new job and is trying to sell her house so she can move to a new city. Pray for her as she travels back and forth each weekend.

Also, please pray for my youngest daughter as she seeks permanent employment. She has been unemployed since last December. She has placed many applications and resumes` online with little to no response.

My granddaugher who is 14 is going through an identity issue. She began high school this year – is extremely intelligent and very serious. Please pray that she will succeed in resolving her problems so she can concentrate on her studies.

I pray to our Dear Lord for everyone who is suffering and has special needs. Keep your spirits high. God answers in mysterious ways, but He does answer!!!

  77. I need mercy and grace from the Lord in the area of trust and anxiety.

For some reason, fear/anxiety/worry are my thorn and I lay them before the Lord all the time. Right now I’m in a heap of anxiety and it is so frustrating. I beg the Lord to take it away, confess my desire to control and lack of trust in Him, and it just sits and eats away at my soul.

This has been a 40 year journey. Nothing new. I just want it to go away.

  78. Around 6months ago, I started getting to know a vet, with some significant PTSD. We fell in love, at least in a small way….we are so radically different in many ways especially when it comes to religion. God has used Jake to work much good in my life, but if you could just pray for His continued will over of us. I don’t know Gods long term plan in this, but He does have one…I need grace to follow Him out on this whatever it may be

  79. Kristin,
    I absolutely recognize that!
    I will pray for you!
Please pray for my friends little sister! She is very ill and at this point it is not sure if there is a treatment that can help her…please pray!

  80. I ask 4 prayer as I navigate thru marital issues. I’m also seeking new employment. Thank you for your prayers & for the opportunity to pray for others.

    God Bless.

  81. T.R.A.,
God knows you so personally……..so intimately…..God come into those situations……..help them work things out, for them and Your glory. We look to You alone. Also, like me they seek new employment.God guide the feet, mind, and will. Place them where You need them. You are the Provider. You know what is needed. We ask for Your abundance as needed.Help us to grow closer to You in the process of it all. Please pray for me. I am single, no income no job right now. Health issues and no insurance or funds to check anything out.Still healing from thinking I was to marry. I am thankful He revealed all…….but my heart is still not totally healed and still not in a good place in how I see men.I lift it ALLLLLLLLLL to thee My Lord…………All and thank You ahead of time for the outcome of all Our prayers. You hear and Answer! All praise to You above! Amen and Amen!

  82. Pam, I’m praying for you.

Please pray for my family. My first child was born 4 weeks early on July 26. She has been dealing with a horrible case of reflux. It affects her eating, sleeping, and ability to be a happy baby because she is in pain all the time. My husband and I have been through so many highs and lows since her birth and are struggling to help our baby and find happiness as new parents. In addition, my husband has been looking for a job for almost 2 years – he has a job now but it’s not enough to provide for our family. He continues to get interviews and then told he didn’t get the job and its affected his self confidence deeply. Thank you for this opportunity to get this out and feel support!

    • Tess, I am praying for your family. What an amazing gift in a new sweet baby! I pray that this time for your family is protected and joy fills your home. I pray for protection and health for this sweet baby and that joy exudes and the pain leaves. I pray for wisdom as you navigate parenting and that God bring some amazing Godly friends to walk along side in support on this new journey. I also pray for the perfect job for your husband. I pray for the job that makes him feel valued and a great provider for his family. I pray for trust in God for each of you during this time.

  83. I have been recently diagnosed with moderate to severe depression. I am a single mom to a beautiful strong-willed funny loving 4 year old little girl. 3 years ago in a 2 month span I ended a bad marriage and my father unexpectedly died in his sleep and I performed cpr until the paramedics arrived. I have held up as long as I can and realized I am fighting hard to just get to survival mode and my daughter deserves more of me. Please pray for healing in this area as I deal with the issue as well as for the man God has for me. Pray my daughter is covered by the love of Jesus and not scarred by this process or by her earthly father leaving and never looking back.

    • Yes, Anna you have a lot going on, but Jesus is right there by your side. I pray right now that you are restored to good health, a Christian man will come in at the right time. I pray for your daughter’s comfort. In Jesus Holy Name, Amen.

  84. Please pray for my health. I have stroke-like symptoms, but all tests are negative for stroke, PTL! I have bone on bone knees, but with the past hospital bills, I need to wait on knee replacement. Love Holly’s posts and thank you for these prayers.

  85. Prayers for Wayne, a HS classmate battling stage 4 cancer. He is only 46 and has a wife and two young children. Prayers for healing, for his wife & children, and for us as we find ways to love & serve him & his family.

  86. Tess, I’m praying for you. 1 Peter 5:7 says: “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” God bless 🙂

I’d like prayer for dealing with some “thorns” in my life, that have hurt. And for God to show me more and more things. A prayer would be hugely appreciate – thanks x

  87. Hi Pam, praying for you. God makes all things possible in His time. Ive been dealing with a similar situation during years.and im sure that He will work things right for you like He does for me.

Please pray for my family, for my little girl who has health problems, that the Lord may give her complete healing. for my husband , that he would be totally prepared for a very important work scheduled for saturday, And also for me, that i may be able to stick to my weight loss programme and that the Lord may give me the courage and the necessary strength to continue despite all the things that are coming my way to discourage me. god bless you all.

  88. Jana-prayers for Your friend Wayne and family during this time.

Please pray for my daughter to return to God and for protection for my 2yo grandson during this time. They are 2 states away. Broken

    • Father we lift up Lou Ann to you and her broken heart over her daughter. Not only is she two states away, but she is far away from you as well. But we know that to you she is not far away, you know exactly where she is. We pray protection over her 2yo grandson as well. Keep both of them safe in your hand. Amen

  89. @ Lou Anna: I pray for you right now!

Please pray for me that God will help me with my study because it’s very difficult and i’m really tired. That He gives me strength to do this. Also pray that I will stay in my faith to the other students that I may praise Him through my live!

    Thank you so much!

Hugs a girl from the Netherlands

  90. Please pray that I am able to let go of a dear friend and live free from any bondages knowing that God holds me in His hands and is able to fill all my needs and heal my heart.

  91. Wow so many in need and asking for prayer. I know Papa will answer each one!
I am in the middle of a spiritual battle as well, and would love your prayers.

  92. A prayer request….my 9-year-old great-niece has recently been diagnosed with a rare auto-immune disease for which there is no cure. Juvenile Myositis only affects about 5 in a million children each year. Maya ‘s parents are both teachers in Lutheran schools, and she has 2 younger sisters. I have no children, as my only child is deceased, so Maya is like a granddaughter to me. Please include her in your prayers, asking that the treatments may help put the disease into remission and that her family will remain strong in the Lord. Thank you.

  93. Praying for you, Madison that God’s mercy and grace will fill you as you deal with the “thorns” in your life. I pray that God’s plan is made clear to you.

Please pray for me as I face things in my past that cause damage to my ability to witness to my husband and children.

Praying for all of the requests made today. Especially for the hurt of broken relationships and children who have wandered from the Lord.

  94. I need prayer for myself for 30 years of using food as my god . Bingeing and purging . I’m tired and want out

    • Annie P.,

I am praying for you to ask God to help you release this stronghold to Him. I think He wants you to give it all to Him and trust that He and only He can restore you and fill you up so that you don’t use food. Please don’t be hard on yourself. I think so many of us struggle with food in one way or another and the enemy wants us to believe we have no hope. We do! But, it is only in Christ. Erin

  95. Thank you for reaching out to have a day of prayer for so many. Please pray for me that my husband and I would have better communication and that I would trust God to restore instead of thinking I need to fix something. I just want to keep my eyes on Jesus at all times and not be distracted by dumb things that are meaningless and annoy us each day. Please pray, also, for my children to stay close to the Lord and that my senior in high school would seek God in her college decision. Thank you very much.

  96. Praying for the many requests.
Please pray for my husband and I as we have court in the morning. We are trying to obtain full custody of our 5 children and requesting all visitation with their father be supervised as he is extremely unstable. This has been ongoing since the divorce 3 years ago. We know God loves our children even more than we do. Please pray that His purpose prevails and we have peace.

  97. Please pray for me as I find that I am being treated unfairly at work. My supervisors are trying to find fault with me and will not listen to my explanations. I pray that God will allow me to move on to another place to work.

I pray for Rachel, that God will intercede for the love of her children and that peace will prevail in their lives. amen

  98. Praying that God’s presence is overwhelming in that Courthouse tomorrow, and that all who enter receive His peace. I pray that God grants divine wisdom to the Judge hearing the case, giving him great discernment to see clearly. In the precious Name of Jesus I pray divine protection over your family for tomorrow and every day. God’s will be done.

    Praying for ????
I am lost. There’s no other way to say it. Broken, suffering from overwhelming depression, having just been asked for a divorce, without a job to properly feed/clothe myself and my children, I think over and over that I wish God would take me now. I would never harm myself, but I hate living this way. I need a miracle….or three or four or five. Please, PLEASE pray with me.

    • Hi Trin, as a single mom (not by choice) for 4 years now after 14 years of marriage, my heart hurts for you. I am praying that God will surround you with His great love and comfort. That He will provide for you and your children. Isaiah 43:1-3 has carried me through so many days. “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior”. Hang on. In our worst moments, God’s glory shines the brightest.

  99. Doris, you and I must have posted at the same time. I pray that God will either grant you overwhelming favor among those at work, or that He will provide a position somewhere else where you WILL find favor! I’ve had a similar experience, prayed long and hard about it, and eventually left. It was a great burden lifted. Praying that God leads you to where He wants you and provides His peace along the way!

  100. Trin, praying for God to give you the comfort only He can give. May He give you strength to keep going. May He grant you clarity and direction. May he surround you with godly friends to love and support you. Praying He shows up in a mighty way in your situation.

  101. Please pray for my children, Hunter, Haley, and Hope–that they can show gratefulness in where we live and how bountiful our lives are! Pray that they can see it is not what we have materially– but the quality of our lives we have through God and each other! Please God let them be loving to one another and to those around them…And please help Momma keep her eye on the truth and not the schedule!
    Thank you!

    Happy Sunday All!

    • Hello, love! Praying that God sends you a kind, tall, and honest man.

Your request made me smile for some reason. Thanks!

  102. Can you please pray for my family, my home and my families financies. We have no money and what money we have goes away like the wind. I just feel like we have the devil around us. I don’t know what to do. I try to be with a brave face but everything is going wrong all the time.

    • It is a difficult world in which to be single, since so much of society focuses on being a couple. I will pray God will guide your life, give you peace, and help you find joy in being free to be you, however that may be. You are HIS, Abba’s daughter. Rejoice in Him as your husband and father.

  103. My husband is leaving on a hunting trip. I am anxious about his safety and concerned for my own as I try to do things with family and friends, as my vision is limited. I depend on my husband and am blessed that God has provided his, and I pray I will be an encouragement to him and not a burden.

  104. Praying for all these needs. Neediness is not necessarily a bad thing. It draws us to the source, Our Loving Father. I have two very serious needs. My 29 yo daughter-in-law was just diagnosed with MS and I got called back for a follow-up on a mammogram and am scheduled to meet with a surgeon to remove a spot from both breasts. I know God is in control, but my family is so stressed about it.

  105. Rachel H. and Trin, Isaiah 61: 1-4 “The Lord God has put his Spirit in me, because the Lord has appointed me to tell the good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort those whose hearts are broken, to tell the captives they are free, and to tell the prisoners they are released. He has sent me to announce the time when the Lord will show his kindness and the time when our God will punish evil people. He has sent me to comfort all those who are sad and to help the sorrowing people of Jerusalem. I will give them a crown to replace their ashes, and the oil of gladness to replace their sorrow, and clothes of praise to replace their spirit of sadness. Then they will be called Trees of Goodness, trees planted by the Lord to show his greatness.” New Century Version
Also read and meditate on Psalm 37. That’s a wonderful Psalm I would read almost everyday when I worked at a place full of strife and angry people all the time. It gave me a sense of safety and comfort. God sees, God knows and God cares. He knows all you are going through. Trust Him. He cares for you more than you know. Like a song I know says: “God will make a way where there seems to be no way. He works in ways we cannot see. He will make a way for me. He will be my guide, hold me closely to His side. With love and strength for each new day, He will make a way, He will make a way.” And He will make a way for you, my dear sisters! Praying for peace, comfort and rest. God said He will never leave us or forsake us.

My prayer: I’m on disability. I turned 63 years old on Oct. 9th. I’ve been very emotional all week about that. Not sure why. I think it has something to do with the fact that my mother, who I took care of till she passed away 30 years ago at the age of 63. She died of cancer about two weeks after her 63rd birthday. Now that I’m 63 I can’t help but think about that with a great deal of loss and emotion. Very little family contact. Most of my family lives in other states. The few family I have near here are too busy. I’m also feeling a sense of loss since I’m not able to work anymore and am trying to find purpose and meaning in my life where I’m at now. Pray that I can make new friends where I just moved into subsidised housing 6 months ago. I see a ministry here but I need to tread lightly. They do have a Bible study here on Tue. evenings and I’m thankful for that. I know I have a lot to be thankful for but it seems like God is in the process of crushing me. I’ve heard it said that it’s in the crushing that the fragrance and oil is releashed in making olive oil. Wine is made by the crushing of grapes. You have to crush the petals of a rose to get the fragrance of perfume. It’s painful to go through the crushing process but that’s what Jesus requires of us to be more like Him. Isaiah 53:5. Pray for healing of spirit, soul and body.
To sum it up: I need prayer for healing, and to know what God’s plans are for me at this stage of my life. I deal with a lot of pain and fatigue and can’t work anymore due to health issues. I’m pretty much alone and have very little family contact and support. I’m thankful I have my own car and can still drive to church on Sunday and to a prayer meeting I go to on Tuesday mornings to have people contact and get the love and support I need.

    • Lucille,
Your words tonight have been such an encouragement and I thank you for reminding me of His promises. It’s funny that, only hours ago, I was praying that God make a way where there seems to be none. To see that you wrote the same thing makes me believe that I need to stand on that promise. I’m trying to hard to do that, with faith, but confess mine is like a mustard seed and I sometimes feel forgotten.

You’ve been a blessing tonight, sharing your own circumstances. It’s encouraging to see how you look to Him in spite of your situation. I’d like to be more like you in that respect. My heart aches with the thought of you without family and friends around and I pray that God will provide the opportunity for you to meet others. Praying for peace, healing, and joy for you my friend!

  106. I have many prayer requests. Prayer for my family, for the leaders of our lands, for those who are ill, those who live in slavery, those who are in pain, those who are in prison, those who are abused. Please pray that Jesus will return soon, as so many are hurting. Pray in the meantime, for comfort, strength and rest for all who suffer. God loves us all and He waits for more to come to Him. But so many need Him to come now, for the pain to end.

  107. My Dear Sharon, I pray that our Healing Lord will heal both you and your daughter in law.strengthen the faith of your family so that they will be less stressed and you will all use victory over illness as living testimony to His Grace, Mercy and Healing Power. God Bless You All.

I ask for prayers for my family, and all those others, facing financial difficulties at this time.

I ask also for prayers for those who have lost loved ones in Kenya, India and Italy.

May we continue to pray for each other.

  108. The Lord taught us to use the talents that we have been given from Him in a wise and fruitful way! My ability to sustain and stay in the flow of artistic endeavors is nominal.I am now dealing with illness that highly affects my emotions but I have been a repressed artist for decades! So I need prayer for healing of my Thyroid gland and release from the frustration of passivity toward using what God has given me to help others so I can give God the Glory that is due Him!

  109. Please pray for me. I have just recently received peace from my Lord and Savior about my eternity. For that I am so grateful! It has been a long time coming, as I was “saved” over 20 years ago, when I was just 19. But I realized around 7-8 years ago that this was false. I had never really given my heart. Not my whole heart. I am thankful for that peace, however there are some really hard times coming up in my life that is causing me to worry, to be scared and also to turn away from friends because I do not know who I can trust. Pray for wisdom to know these true friends, and to turn away from the gossipers and those who wish me harm. Help me to forgive myself and those around me. Pray for softened hearts of my family members. Pray that my peace that I have found in my eternity will come over into my life- the life I am living on earth. There are so many hardships right now, I have brought these on myself, but my family deserves more. Please pray for me! Thank you.

    • I will be praying for you! Thank God that you are saved. I was “saved” at 2 times in my life. The first time when I was 10 and accepted Christ as my Savior, and then when I was 21, I realized I needed Him as the Lord of my life. Not just being able to “check it off my list” that He was my Savior.

I will be praying that you have the peace that passeth all understanding. I pray that you find the time to go to Him daily to be still and receive His Peace.

I know exactly what you mean about finding friends you can trust. I pray that you have the wisdom and discernment to find people who will support and encourage you and give you the empowerment to be the best you can be.

Cling to Exodus 14:14. Just be still and let God fight your battles.

    • Dear Sweet Samantha,

I thank you for sharing your heart and this prayer request! I believe I can understand some of what you are feeling. I pray that our Papa will expound His peace, grace and joy over every area of your life! I pray that He will surround you with friends and family who will be able to support you in good times and in bad. Remember that God’s promises are new each and every morning! (Lamentations 3:22,23). It can be hardest to forgive ourselves but when we confess to our Papa anything we have done wrong He is so gracious to forgive us in an instant and those sins are cast as far as the east from the west! I have learned (and am still learning) to let go of the past, forgive quickly and often, and set my eyes on the Lord! When I do that His peace and joy come into my life no matter what circumstance I am in and how alone I may feel. So I pray that God will guide you through this challenging time and that you will truly feel His presence in such a new and powerful way. May you be blessed and know what a blessing you truly are! Our hardships can often be times where we feel God’s presence and love the strongest in our lives.

Much love in Christ and His abundant blessings for you and your family!!
      Your sister in Him,
      Kristy Lynn

  110. My husband had an emotional affair this summer with a woman 27 years his junior – via text messaging and then sneaking around meeting for lunches and sporting events. He is sorry that he hurt me, but he does not see that he has sinned – against God and against our marriage. We have lived separately since July 31. Every time we get close to reconciling, something happens to reopen the wounds. For instance, I caught him in a lie yesterday. I have released him into God’s hands. I have tried to “fix” things, change him, and it hasn’t worked. Pray that I have the strength, wisdom, and discipline to allow God to do His work in my husband’s heart and life. Pray that I can have peace in the waiting. Thank you.

    • Dearest Lynda, I too went through the same thing 4 years ago. My heart and prayers go out to you during this awful time. Although we are still sharing the same household its a cold one at best. I pray you find the strength and wisdom to allow God to do his work through you. Hopefully He will reveal his plan for you soon so that you may find peace in his will.

Reading all these prayers is overwhelming to say the least! I pray for ALL of you with much love. Also, I am so glad (in)courage was put in my path just when I needed it! Thank you.

  111. Jeanine…thank you So much for your prayer. I will also pray for you during this time. I’m also saying a prayer for everyone who sent a message today.

  112. I am a single mom in the process of adopting a little girl from Ethiopia. Please pray that God will protect her and give her hope while she waits for us to be matched. Please pray that God will provide the funds to bring her home.

  113. Lynda – we have a God who reveals the deep and hidden things. I pray that He will open your husband’s eyes and heart to what happened. Praying for you at this time, that He will give you the grace that you need to stand firm in the truth and keep loving your husband and speaking the truth to him.

I would appreciated prayer for a few things. We are struggling to conceive. I have recently fought a battle with depression, and by the grace of God I came through but I can so easily see myself slipping back and I don’t want to go back! But mostly prayer for the children in my heart to be conceived.

    many thanks

    • I pray that the Lord of mercies will be upon you and your husband in conceiving a child. The consolations of the Lord will be over you right now, taking any of root of depression and sadness. That you sing for joy knowing that He is near you and in you to bring His joy and the seed that you and your husband look for.
“He gives power to the weak and to those who no might He gives strength.” Isaiah 40:29

  114. Hi El and all,

-El, I want to tell you that I can totally relate. I pray that the Lord will keep you strong and understanding of his timing. I struggle with depression too but one thing that keeps me from falling deeper every time I fall; is knowing that my Jesus will never let me off his hand, even when I feel like falling back down right after I’ve picked my self up and there will always be a hard time to pull us down because life is just hard but He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world. Let that be your comfort even when the battle is against your own mind.

-Stephanie, I pray that our lovely God covers that little girl with a happy, healthy and peaceful environment while the adoption process gets done. I also pray that the Lord smooths and speeds this process and that he provides ABUNDANTLY so you can afford all costs involved. I also want to pray that God fills your heart with patience through out this exiting/nerve rocking journey in Jesus name, Amen.

I just want to ask you ladies to please pray for patience in my heart. My husband and I had decided to start trying to get pregnant at the beginning of this month but when the time came we learned that I will no longer have a job and with that we lost about 50 % of our income, Please pray that the Lord shows us clarity to know if this means that we should wait or if He’s just trying to show us how to lean on Him and His providence even if it involves to bring a little one to the picture. Please also pray for me as I try to stay out of depression. Now my husband (as a good ole’man) is pretty stressed about our finances so PLEASE help me pray for that and that God will show him how to depend on his provision.

    Thank you so much guys!

    Love,

    Perla

  115. I want prayers for a new relationship that is coming on my way. I am a widow since Feb. 2012. The Lord is making something extraordinary in my favor and I need prayers for this provision of care and love will be a blessed one in mine and his life. I have dealt many issues during this season and have many others to confront and I need God’s intervention in my behalf.

  116. Good morning ladies,
Praying for your new rakatiinship Marinalva.
I know it is not easy on your own. Praying for you Perla, for wisdom and piece.; Stephanie, Rose, Lynda praying.
    Here are my prayer requests:
    1. New job that can provide for myself and my kids as I am a single mom of two teenagers, I am open to God’s direction even with relocation
    2. For a godly husband
    3. For my son to get again on fire for God
    Thank you

    • Josie,

Prayers for a great job to come in line for you! Also for your son to once again be on fire for God and see His magnificent loving care He bestows.

      Lord,

You know the needs of Josie even before I ask them. She is needing a new job that will help provide for her and the two teenagers. Show her the direction you want for her to go in. Make a way for her to be prosperous.

If it is your will bring a wonderful Godly man into her life. One that will love her and care for her. Someone she can be friends with and enjoy her life with.

Help her son to once again get on fire for you! Help him to see all the wonders and beauty that you bestow upon us.

Shower Josie with your love, and grace. Give her plenty of peace and contentment about decisions you are leading her into. Give her wisdom to make wise decisions in all that she does!

      AMEN!

  117. Marinalva,

Prayers that the relationship will be blessed and is of God. May God truly bless this and have this man be a Godly loving person who will take care of you.

    Lord Jesus,

Please bless this relationship coming Marinalva’s way. If this is your will, then help her to see it and make it fruitful for them. Shower her with peace and contentment about this new person in her life.

    • Marinalva, may you and your new friend grow together in friendship and in love.
      God bless you both.

  118. Prayed for you Edwina, Marinalva, Josie.

I’d love prayer for my fiance who is suffering from some anxiety. He has so much on at the moment, and is trying to be so strong for me, but it has been getting worse. He is a wonderful, strong, godly man, but fearful thoughts have been a real struggle for him.

Also pray for me, that I will be able to support and help him through all of this. I know very little about anxiety and feel so useless at times, unable to help him, not knowing what to do.

Thank you my dear sisters x

    • I will pray for you. God knows his needs and will help him through the struggles he is facing.
      Love and prayers to you
      Samantha

  119. Prayed for you Esther and for your finance.

What a great website! I’m astounded by how even though we might not know each other we can still pray for each others needs. We have a cord that binds us together and his name is Jesus. For Him I will always be grateful.

I could use prayer in two areas of my life. Using my writing gifts for God, I have been shy in the past about it. Also for a source of income or a part-time job. I have been a stay at home mom for a while and I don’t feel confident however, I know my confidence must be in Him.

    Blessings to you.

  120. Praying for you Patricia!

Asking for prayers to be constantly reminded to trust His plan for me and lean not on my own understanding…

    Thannk you!

  121. Precious Father,

I come to You, begging for an answer to these bm problems. It is hard to get energy through my day, my body is not absorbing the nutrients it needs. What am I eating that I am allergic to, besides gluten? Is it a bacterial infection? I pray for an answer.

  122. Amanda,

I pray for you, what I pray to God quite often: for Him to make His voice & direction clear & known to me, because quite often, I doubt myself. I think that I am not hearing His voice. So, I ask Him to make it like angels singing, cathedral doors opening for the direction & requests He has of me.
I also pray discernment for you. Our Father is so faithful with this. I pray that He “nudges” you, lovingly, in the path to take, and that you nestle into His arms for this. he has you in the palm of His hands, so curl up there, safe & comforted. My love to you!

  123. Tamra, praying with you and for you to the ultimate healer, our Lord. Trusting in him for your body he createdcand seeking His guidance as you seek help and healing. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen

I head into another week unemployed; trusting in the Lord’s provision and for a position that he has just for me. I am in prayer for God’s best in a mate which goes against culture and has it’s own kind of pressure. Worth it!

To God be the glory and thanks for praying.

  124. God is doing wonderful things in breaking the bonds of abuse from me, healing a chronic debilitating illness that is debilitating and I sing His praises for that as I walk this new path. I ask humbly for prayer and boldly for my children who are Mormon and their salvation and what they are teaching my young grandchildren, for healing in our relationships because of it and for my eldest daughter as she heals from losing a child. She walks in the world of people pleasing for her world and grieves with anger that love her most. I pray God will put people in their path, that God will touch them Thank you! Living in Grace~Sharon

  125. Please pray for my husband and me. Our marriage has felt strained. We are meeting with a counselor next week and I am a little nervous. I hope that it goes well, will help bring us closer and strengthen our marriage. I do feel very hopeful but prayers would be much appreciated!

Also, please pray for a special couple in our lives. They are having discussions of divorce and it breaks our hearts. We feel uncertain what to say or if we can help.

    • I am so sorry for your struggles. A marriage is so precious, and I know what it is like to have problems and not know where to turn. God will be there for you. He has a plan to save your marriage, and it is hard when we don’t know that plan, or even when we don’t know if we really want that plan. Keep trusting in the Lord and pray for him to heal your marriage. He can do it. Love and prayers to you
      Samantha

  126. Dear Lord,
Please be with Valerie and surround her with your peace, allowing her to feel your comfort in waiting for your perfect timing in finding the correct job for her. Grant her patience and faith in your all amazing abilities to work miracles in our lives and trust that you will bring the right person along for her to share her life with and be the testimony to Your will, Lord. In Jesus Christ’s name we pray, Amen.

Please pray for my marriage. I’m afraid it’s just about to fall completely apart. I just pray for forgiveness from God and between each other. I pray for healing in our marriage unlike we’ve seen before. I pray for a hedge of protection around our marriage, from Satan and temptations. I pray for divine guidance for both my husband and I. I pray for strength to do the right things and strength to persevere. I believe in the power of prayer, so thank you so much for yours. God is with us.

    • How many are on here asking for prayer for their marriage? We can see where Satan is working. He is hurting us where we hurt most! I’ll pray for you, as I will pray for others on here in their marriages. Pray also for mine. In love and prayers
      Samantha

  127. Please pray for a breakthrough in the area of work for me. I have been looking for a steady, meaningful and fulfilling job for almost 7 years now and I am weary. Every time I seem to find something, doors close.
    Melissa, praying for your marriage!

  128. My daughter, a young married mother of a lively two-year-old, has been diagnosed with MCAD, a devastating, debilitating illness for which there is currently no cure. We believe God can make her well, at least well enough to live a normal life and be able to smile again, enjoy her husband and son. We would so value any prayer – that God will show His mercy and restore her health.

Dear Lord, please fling a door open wide for Oana. Guide her job search and bring her into an open, energizing place, where she feels fulfilled and can give of her best. In Your name. Amen

  129. Oana, remember that Christ opens doors that we cannot on our own. Your request is dear to me. I asking for the same thing for my sis. And love for my daughter. They both and you as well are looking for the most basic things and I pray tirelessly for them and now for you. As for me, the grace that I continue with strength and faith in my prayer request. Pray without ceasing. Blessing and light.

  130. Praying for your sis and daughter, Marg. May God give you the strength you need to continue on this journey of yours. I ask for prayers for my SIL’s father. He is having a brain tumor removed this morning and they are unaware if it is benign or malignant. Prayers for God’s peace to surround their whole family this day and the days ahead.

  131. Bridget – praying for your SIL’s father: wisdom for the surgeon. Peace for the family. Recovery for him. My mom has had 3 brain surgeries now for tumors. The most recent was last month. I understand the deep water your family is going through.

I’d appreciate prayer for a permanent full time job. My current temp job will end in 5 weeks. I’m a single mom and trusting that Hod has a plan even if I can’t see it.

  132. Thank you…Sarah for your needs to be supplied and for all to…

Please pray for a young man, aged 18, who has cancer and is only 72 lbs. God is able. Please pray for his Mom, too, who is a caregiver, away from him, and his older brother, too. God is able. Oh, may GOD intervene in a bold way. God bless you all.

  133. Would you please pray for my niece Sara who has brain cancer as well as cancer that
has spread to the lung area/lymphoids. Sara just celebrated her 33rd birthday and
is in stage 4. Sara is a kind and caring person, always doing for others, never thinking of herself.
    Blessings to all of you!

    Joan

  134. Please pray for my husband that God would soften his heart and give him the desire to draw close to Him. Pray for redemption in our marriage. And pray for me that I would continue to trust the Lord with my life and His plans for it.
Thank you for praying and for the blessing of praying for you!

  135. My husband has been laid off twice in the last five years. We’ve now hit the two year mark from the last layoff and he’s still looking for a job in his field. My work hours have just been cut so we’re struggling to stay in our home and keep going. Please pray that God will bless Dan with work that uses his education and skills. With both of us working two jobs it’s really hard to be the spouses, parents or people that God would want us to be.

  136. Praying for the last several of you, GOD IS FAITHFUL!!!! Even if He doesn’t answer our prayers in the way we think is best. God’s ways are not our ways, and His plans are HIGHER!!! Christine, praying for you and your husband, been there, done that. We were stuck in a bad financial place for many years, but God kept telling me change was coming. So I prayed he would help us change with the changes. My husband interviewed in another state for a job, and within two weeks we moved to another state. No, it was not easy! Life on this side of the cross will never be perfect, but the changes God has provided in our lives have been VERY GOOD!!! He even moved our two grown sons and their families near us!!! That’s how good God is!!! You have to be willing to change with the changes, no matter how difficult they may seem. I hope this helps you.

My prayer request – my step dad has a faulty valve in his heart and will be facing surgery soon. He is an amazing man and deeply loved and respected, but has not surrendered to the saving grace of Jesus yet. My sweet mom had to say good-bye to her first husband of 29 years to a heart related incident. This is very difficult for her and for both of them. Thank you.

  137. Elaine, I will be praying for your step dad – that his heart will receive Jesus’ restoration as well as physical restoration.

My prayer request is for employment for my husband – it’s been nearly two years. I know God is in control but some days are just overwhelming.

  138. Christine I will be praying for you. God has walked our family through seasons of joblessness and struggle to stay in our house too. You are who God wants you to be right where you are. He is with you in this season. He never leaves us or forsakes us.
Please pray for me as I begin going to school away from home three nights a week.

  139. I suffer from a disorder that currently has no cure. I ask for relief and patience. I ask that I have some quality time with my family and have healthy days with them for years to come. Also that a cure be found for this disorder that I, and many others, suffer from, Sphincter of Oddi Dysfunction. I ask that I be able to eat more variety and gain some of the weight back that I lost when I got so sick, I lost 20 and have gained back 5 and am thin to begin with. Also please that I use my illness for God’s glory and help others through this trial. I want the bad to do some good. Thank you.

    • Diane,
I am lifting you up in prayer sister, may all of your requests be heard and answered by our glorious, merciful God. I pray for your struggles not to be in vain, but that you would find strength and courage to shine brightly the Light given you and that many would see and come to know Jesus through your testimony.
God be with you my sweet friend.
      In Christ,
      Suzanne

  140. Melissa, I am praying our mighty God would give you strength hand faith to begin a new journey of learning. That He would lead you and comfort you as you strive to serve Him in education. Praying his blessings would surround you and give you confidence.
My need is for a co worker who was fired after 40 years at the same company. For his salvation.

  141. Please pray…
    – For the salvation of my 2 sons & their wives and our future son-in-law.
    – My husband needs a job and healing, he has bee diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure.
    – I would like to have the heart of a true servant and trust completely in our gracious God. I struggle with doubt and fear of lack, I become easily irritated with others… which deters me from having a heart to serve God like I should.
What a beautiful idea, for us to pray for one another like this … Thank you 🙂

    • Father,
I pray for Suzannes sons and wives that they will have their eyes and hearts open and begin to live their lives for you. I pray for healing and a job for her husband. Encourage Suzanne and her husband and let them feel your arms comforting and encouraging them. Bring them a peace that passes understanding as they go throught these difficult times. Strengthen their faith and trust in you as they see you work your wonders. Thank you that you will answer these prayers and do exceedingly, abundantly, beyond all we can ask or even imagine. In Jesus name.
      Amen

  142. Prayer needs for my husband. We are under-employed and continuously behind on our bills. Its very stressful, and can cause us to be a bit snappy at times. Continued prayer for a job that will provide for our needs and relieve some stress. As well as bringing my husbands focus to the Lord, as he’s become frustrated and losing faith that God cares about us.

    • Monique,
Financial needs can be so stressful, I will pray that you both find more rewarding employment. Even more that you will have peaceful hearts to face the future and know with certainty that God cares for you.

  143. I would appreciate a prayer for peace in my heart. I am constantly in a whirl wind of anxiety that affects my family and work. I am asking for peace and grace to just be in the beauty of now and not the anxiety in my head.

    • MC, I understand the difficulties you are dealing with, as I struggle with the exact same challenge. I pray for us, that our Lord surround us with His healing peace and grant us strength when we’re feeling weary and worn. I try to remember the message of Exodus 14:14, “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Lord, grant us patience, stillness, and faith in your Awesome abilities. Amen.

  144. I am considering employment and need guidance. Where can I work that I would enjoy challenging work that is meaningful? I want to contribute and be useful, as well as earn some money to help support my husband and myself. Please pray that I find the right opportunity.

    • Emily,
My background is as a teacher and a counselor, especially career counseling! So I am blessed to follow you in this thread! I have prayed that God will show you the way you should go, for how He has made you so very fearfully and wonderfully!
For HIS will in your life. “DELIGHT YOURSELF in the LORD and HE WILL give you the desires of your heart!:-) Stay/get VERY close in intimate relationship with Him, and He will do it! Now, keep the eyes of your heart and ears open and see what the Lord will do!
      Love in Jesus!

  145. This may seem small, but it is not to my daughter. She is a first time mama and her 5 month old has been waking up screaming for the past month every 1-2 hours. It’s not all the typical reasons for a baby this age, as we have checked out and taken care of those. But she is getting very weary, upset with the baby, and an answer has not been found. Could you please pray for healing for him or answer or for her and her husband to learn what maybe they need to in this? Also, her hubby needs to learn much of the Lord so that he can be hired in a ministry position. Thank you so much!

  146. Please pray for my husband, Steve. He has battled cancer for one year; everything was going really well, until last week. Pain brought him to the dr. – and tests confirmed cancer has returned. Chemo begins for him again this week. We are disappointed and disillusioned, yet We hold onto the hope of Christ, and his healing touch. We saw His healing over the last year, so we know He still does miracles. Please pray for another miracle of healing for Steve. Please pray for his emotional well-being as well. Pleaser pray for strength from Christ to overcome the feelings of anger and disappointment also, for all of us. Thank you.

  147. Facing so much please pray for me…
Serious health concerns, my mom died last week, hostile family, etc i teach 3-5 yr olds with behavioral issues, financial strain, etc.

    • Kat,
I was drawn to your name as that is what my nieces and nephews call me. I am lifting you in prayer. I am a teacher as well. I have first graders and the behavior is unbelievable in the classroom. My mom passed away this past March and I have missed her so much. I know all about financial strain. Please take care of yourself. Get the rest you need and be kind to yourself. You are going through a lot right now but things will be better. Keep your eyes on him as he never fails us or leaves us. I will pray for you daily. God Bless you sweet sister.
      Kathy

  148. Praise God for taking care of our needs.
Please pray for healing of my husbands achilles tendon, ankle. He has been home all summer. This summer has been a struggle for both of us financially, spiritually and physically. And pray for my continued sanity after an insane summer.

  149. I am seeking the ability to understand and accept. I don’t understand choices people make — and I really don’t think I need to. i need to let go and accept without question or judgment. Why can’t I do this?? AMEN!!

    • Letting go can be difficult Wawoo, especially if it is with loved ones – perhaps children or parents. When they are making choices that you feel are hurting them. I pray that you will be able to turn over the worry and their care to the Holy Spirit who knows just what they need and will help re-direct their paths or make something good out of what Satan has tried to push for evil. Every time the issues rise up in you and you feel judgemental call upon the Holy Spirit to free you from those fears and worries.

  150. I need prayer for the resolution of my physical health issues that I have been suffering since this time last year. I am starting to have a lot of confusion and getting lost again. That is what happened last year and went so far as to my not being able to recognize my own name. It turned out to be a B12 deficiency. They have now found that I amnot only deficient in B12 but have low red cells and low iron which is why I am always so fatigued and dragging. I don’t want to allow the confusion to get to the point it had last year. I am getting weekly B12 shots and I don’t know what else to do but I know the Holy Spirit knows just what I need. Thanks for your prayers.

  151. Hi Paula, I am praying for you. My sister went through similar health issues and she found at the Vitamin Shop, liquid B complex for $19.99. I don’t know the brand but if you have a Vitamin Shop, go in and tell them you are looking for a liquid vitamin B complex for that price. They should know. She has had so much energy and mental improvement in less than 3 days of taking it.

I need prayer for a new job for me and one for my son. He has applied for a job with Apple and really wants it so that he can make a decent salary and quit his 2nd job. He is so tired from working two jobs and trying to make ends meet. We also need financial freedom.
    Thanks for the prayers.

    Paula
I will continue to lift you in prayer. God is faithful. I am disabled from a foot surgery that went wrong and now have to walk with a walker. I teach 1st grade and by the end of the day, I am exhausted. God is healing me though and I can see some strength coming back. Keep looking to him for your help. He never fails.
    Blessing to you,
    Kathy

  152. Please pray for my son to return to God with all his heart. And that I would forgive myself for all my mistakes while I was raising him

  153. Dear Lord, please help Debbie’s son find The Lord and may he rest in the peace of His grace. Put into his heart the buring desire to seek God and find him in his own way with deepest conviction.

Lord You know that all mothers struggle. You know what is in our hearts and that we are only human. Help Debbie to remember that Jesus loves her despite her past; help her to understand more deeply that He took her sins away that day on the cross, wiped the slate clean and that through His grace she is blameless. God does not judge he only loves. And remind dear Debbie that her work as a mother is still alive and there is still time to love her children as Jesus Christ loves her.

  154. I am a barrel racer. I am devoted to my sport but have let the spirit of competition get in the way of grace. Please pray that God may change my heart and keep me safe in the arena, in body and mind. Please pray to guard my mind against jealous feelings and allowing others to take away my God given peace.

  155. Lord I lift up Kat in prayer, that you would give her strength and peace while competing and that she would focus on You and your Grace and not the competition. Please keep her safe and guard her mind with your peace that surpasses all understanding.

My prayer request is that God would bring my son back to Him in a close relationship and that after finishing college in December that God would provide him with a job in his field. I pray that my daughter continues to grow close to The Lord as she conquers feelings of insecurity and anxiety.

I also pray for my husband’s complete healing of eye surgery and that he may be able to return to work in a few weeks. Please pray for our marriage to become stronger and for peace as we deal with financial burden of my husband being out if work in disability.

Please pray for my peace, strength and discernment in dealing with these issues and the added stress of my job. Thank you and God Bless you all with His love, peace and strength.

  156. Gracious Father, We lift up Lisa B. & her family during these transition times with work and future placements after college. I pray Lisa will be a comfort & a cheerleader for her husband as he recovers. May his recovery be without infection of set-back, but instead a full & complete recovery. Give Lisa an extra amount of energy & strength as she takes on more work and picking up the pieces while her husband recovers. Draw their marriage in togetherness during this time. May her son trust in you & your plans for him.

Please Pray for my family as we are struggling financially. May we place our trust in His provision for our family. May be walk in obedience to His Will for us. Please pray for organization in the home and planning for a future move we are uncertain of at this time.

    Thank You and God Bless!

  157. Heavenly Father, I ask that you be with Noreen and her family as they face financial difficulties. May You open a window to them that they would see a way of escape. Give wisdom to meet the needs at hand, and I pray a miracle on their behalf. Provide as only You can. And I ask that Your will be done in Jesus’ Name.

My request is for my Dad. He is not being a spiritual leader in the home, and is exposing my younger brothers to alcohol and allowing them to experiment with weed. I’m married and have a family of my own, so am somewhat removed from the situation, but ask for wisdom to know what to say, or when to not speak at all. Thank you for this opportunity to pray and to share our requests. It is beautiful to me!

  158. Prayers for my best Friend Jill whose Husband – ( Malcolm) has been very, very ill with Cancer and I am afraid it has returned. Not sure if he is in the Hospital again or not. We have been friends for 30 years and she is an awesome woman of God and gets her strength from the Lord. This has taken a huge toll on her and her entire family. Please pray for His healing, if that is Gods will & the strength and peace to carry on under all the stress and heartache. thank you so much.

  159. Heavenly Father! I lift up Malcolm and Jill in prayer during these periods of trials and tribulations. All that is impossible for us is possible to God who can give abundantly more than we ask and expect. I pray in the name of Jesus the name above any other name.

  160. Please kindly pray for my sister who is ill suffering from lupus.
My brother who is ill one suffering from muscles degeneration..
Another one suffering from backache. Thank you

  161. Joan,I said a prayer just now for your friend Jill and her husband Malcolm. I will continue to remember them in my prayers. God Bless!

  162. My heart is heavy tonight. I just found out that a dear friend has an aggressive form of cancer and she is choosing not to fight it. She had a double mastectomy and chemo less than a year ago and that nearly killed her. She said she will not put herself or her family through that again. Please pray for her as she is already experiencing a lot of pain and problems. Pray for her family as they try to support her through this.

    • Debbie, I am praying for your friend and her family that they might know the comfort and encouragement of God.

  163. I am struggling in trying to find my purpose. I feel like I am a spectator in my life and not an active participant. I am dissatisfied in my job but not sure what to do that might be satisfying.

  164. Praying for you Linda that The Lord your father would guide you into a rewarding and purpose filled season of life, joy, peace, and contentment in your life. May he do immeasurably more than all you could ask or imagine.
Please pray for me, having anxiety and uncertainty in relationship, in mid thirties dating an amazing Christian man with some issues. Wanting healing and freedom for my boyfriend and myself. I need wisdom to stay or go. How do I know Gods will for me in marriage? Thanks for praying.

    • Dear Katie,

I just lifted you before the throne! You are Blessed Katie………You are Loved by the One who created you Katie! Your Father knows your EVERY need!

Feel HIS embrace………… Fall into His arms……. Hold your head high and keep that JOY in your heart. He LOVES YOU!!!!! Don’t allow the enemy to tell you anything different. Let your light shine! Amen

  165. My husband and I are grieving over the decade absence of our 31 year old son. He was such a wonderful little boy, great in school, lots of friends. Then came high school where he fell apart, hanging with the wrong crowd, yet still going to church and youth group! We feel like we don’t even know him anymore. He made a profession of faith as a pre teen. We believe the Lord has him in His grip…….we just would love to have our small family of 3 back together this side of heaven. We miss him terribly!

Thank you so very much for opening up this forum to pray!

    Dianna

    • Abba,

I pray for a mighty move of Your Spirit in Dianna’s son’s life. Draw him daily closer to Yourself. Keep him in Your care and protect him from the evil one. Please give Dianna and her husband Your peace as they await contact from this young man. Encourage their hearts and enable them to deeply trust in You.

      In Jesus’ name
      Amen

  166. Please pray for emotional healing for me and for wisdom in my relationships following a sexual assault. I’m having a hard time knowing who I can share with and how much people can handle. I don’t want my struggles to cause a hardship for others.

  167. BAB, I feel your pain and will be in prayer for you. I’m asking God to heal your heart and send people into your life who will understand and be able to help.

As for me, my faith and hope have all dried up. My relationship with God has fallen apart this year. There is only so much disappointment one person can handle. 🙁

  168. Dianna, I prayed that God will protect and watch over your son and will restore him back to your family soon. I pray that God gives you and your husband strength and grace to endure this very difficult situation.

Lady M, I prayed that God would make Himself known to you again. Please don’t give up on God. He has not given up on you! I know it is hard to face battle after battle, and God is silent. But he is working behind the scenes and in His perfect time, He will make all things new.
Praise Him even when you might not want to…He loves and cares for you. The trying circumstances you are facing don’t mean that He doesn’t love you. It is in the empty and in our brokenness that we draw closer to Him. He is near.

I have been facing my own battle for several years. The human part wishes I could have been spared. But I am learning (slowly) that God has given me Grace to endure. Even when the battle seems the darkest, He is there in the shadows. He is merciful and kind and will not abandon His children.
The hardest part has been learning to surrender it completely to Him. The human part wants to fix things, for it to be at an end. But God’s timing is perfect. He will not fail us! He may be asking you to wait, to trust him in the uncomfortableness. He can handle our hurt, our brokenness. In fact, He uses it to draw us closer to Him. I know it isn’t easy Friend, but with God’s grace you will win the battle! I will keep you in my prayers. In Christ’s love.

*A Girl on the Doorstep has a terrific series on 31 Days to Surviving the Battle. It has challenged my way of thinking and has pointed me back to God. It may be helpful to you. God Bless.

  169. God is working behind the scenes. I pray that God opens your eyes so that you can see Him work. When you feel sad about God sing. Sing at the top of your lungs. See the old hymns or your favorite Christian songs. Singing brings you and God closer to each other. We are all given our crosses to bear. I don’t think I could hold your cross. You might not be able to hold mine. God has just the right cross for each of us and He is right there to endure with us and give us more than enough grace to complete the task. Continue to ask for GRACE. I pray as you rise every morning that you put on the Armor of God and see how the difference you day is when you are in God’s Armor. It does help. I would like prayer my son has just been deployed in an unknown place and this is his first Thanksgiving and Christmas away since both of his grandparents died within 2 months of each other. Without my parents or my son I just feel like not even celebrating Thanksgiving or Christmas. It just brings me to tears. My husband and older son are working through the holidays and not planning on being home. I will be alone and it will be so hard. Please pray that I do the right things and say the right things. I don’t think working is the answer. I feel like my heart has been ripped out of my body. Nelda

  170. Dear ones,

I am writing this morning out of complete desperation. Our 22 year old daughter is severely depressed. She lives at home with us, having had her “path” go sideways for over 10 years now. Some circumstances, of course, due to her decisions, but by and large, as we step back and view things through the lens of an “unbiased” perspective, the quests she has begun (college), the efforts she has undertaken, the “righting” of the ship so to speak, have led her deeper into the abyss. We have counseled, encouraged, prayed, researched, and otherwise helped her to weigh options all along the way. Each time, I have thought, surely this will be the turning point for her. At the last painful, damaging juncture (a study-abroad program) I sent her off with “Behold I am doing a new thing…old things have passed away….” The “new” things, I am grieved to say, have just led to more heartache. She is so very lonely, hates her life, and has zero self-esteem. Yes, she has been on numerous meds, yes, she has been to many counselors, yes, she was in an inpatient Christian treatment program. No, nothing has helped. Raised in a Christian home, had Christian education all along the way, but has long since given up on believing. “God has not helped me.”

I am out of words to encourage her. Out of thoughts. Bone dry. As many times as I have beseeched God on her behalf, and witnessed only more chaos and undoing in her life, I am finding it hard to muster up my own belief at this point.

As a veteran of 20+ years of clinical depression myself, I understand the disease intimately. But, praise Jesus, I have been delivered from “most” of it, and can function due to the right combination of meds. She is forlorn, sad, feeling hopeless, without a vision, without friends. Her dad and I are wounded to our core for her.

The enemy has sought to take all that God has given her, and ruin it. She is absolutely gorgeous, smart, and insightful. She believes she is lower than a worm.

Please, please, please, pray with us for her. I can barely put one foot in front of the other as I contemplate her life. Thank you in advance. Thank you from my heart.
