Robin is the author of For All Who Wander, her relatable memoir about wrestling with doubt that reads much like a conversation with a friend. She's as Southern as sugar-shocked tea, married to her college sweetheart, and has three children. An empty nester with a full life, she's determined to...

  1. I am looking forward to this Book Club selection and received my sponsored copy in the mail yesterday! Amen! Thank you!

  2. I just received my copy yesterday. I viewed the into video and then I went to each woman’s blog and read their blog to get a little more of a feel of who they are, how they think, what they are saying…. I very much like and respect the honesty, the issues they are addressing are issues we all will question and will work through in our personal lives. It is by divine appointment that I have this book in my hands.

I don’t instagram, facebook, or anything else. But, I will participate in the rest, and read and ponder and apply.

    Thank you!

    Blessings,

    Joanne

You have the most important thing for a Bloom study: YOU!

I love hearing that you’re here by way of Divine Appointment; when that is the case, you KNOW that God is at work in you, inviting you in to fellowship with him (and in this case, an online Body). I hope you’ll continue to share your thoughts in comments. It’s such a delight to sense the excitement in all the comments so far!

  3. Just received my sponsored copy yesterday. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I’m several chapters into it already and can’t wait to start the study with all of you.

  4. Oh you girls, on the couch, are adorable! You are all so down to earth. Thank you for the wonderful introduction to Emily! Have a beautiful weekend!

  5. I love all the blog posts about the book. It just really gets you excited and interested in reading….hmmm I think you’ve got something there.

  6. Such an encouragement to me today. As I search for a new job opportunity while being unemployed for most of the year. Trusting in the Lord for his provision and He is truly faithful. He uses his word and His people to lift us up as we make it through our days…..thanks for putting this out there for all of us.

    Blessed day everyone!

    • Valerie,

Keep us posted on your job search, please? Won’t it be thrilling to follow the Lord’s leading, hear him through this study…and see where you end up? Praying for your job right now, praising God for his provision.

  7. I’m really looking forward to this! I’ve so enjoyed reading in the past, but it’s been a very long time since I’ve read a book (too many other distractions I guess). Came across this book club and decided to just go for it and get back into a book again! Can’t wait!

  8. Emily, around that 2 minute mark, I remember last December Kendra saying, “One word, art.” And you two made cute eyes.

Can’t wait! Well, I have to. Still 2 weeks away from delivery. I’ll be in the remedial book club group playing catch up.

  9. I feel like I have “known” Emily for a few years after reading her blog and Grace for the Good Girl, but I have never heard her voice. She is real!!! Not just an amazing writer. I am kidding of course but I will say that just that first video brought tears to my eyes. Do I have something to offer? Why does that hit me so hard and deep like it will open the floodgates of tears? I am excited to dive in and begin the book tonight. Thanks everyone for this opportunity!

  10. I am really looking forward to this book club study because I love to read, and because I need some stability in my life as we go through some major changes over the next couple of months. Lord willing, we will be selling our home and moving from PA to NY as my husband accepts the call to pastor at a church in NY. This involves moving with an 18 month-old and a three-year-old, buying a new house, etc., etc. I am stressed, but hoping I can find some relaxation and support in an on-line community right now while we are in flux. Thanks ladies!

  11. Emily P Freeman had me at the title! I don’t have the book yet so I read the first two chapters on line. I couldn’t say enough how it resonated in my spirit. I am an artist, which is something I couldn’t even say until a few years ago. I love the concept of looking at my whole myself as art and my whole life. Can’t wait to read the rest of this fabulous book. I believe it will change anyone’s life who will embrace it.

  12. When I first saw the the title I thought, “What is this book about? Is it about art? or what?” I was very surprised and happy. I almost passed it by too because I thought it was about art. She is soooo right to say that the book is for women who think they have nothing to offer, but do!

Anyway, I’m just rambling because I’m excited. I just really want to say that I’m enjoying the book and thank you for the community 🙂
