Yet those who wait for the LORD will gain new strength;
they will mount up with wings like eagles,
they will run and not get tired,
they will walk and not become weary. Isaiah 40:31
At (in)courage, we empower women to be like Jesus. Our writers share what’s going on in their life and how God’s right in the middle of it. They bring their joys & struggles so that you can feel less alone and be empowered by the hope Jesus gives.
Oh these colors sparkle, this verse gives hope and security on this brisk winter morn! I’ve got a different kind of sparkle going on with my sabbath verse today …
A good way to begin a week–by waiting on God. I’m looking forward to renewed strength, rest and peace.

This scripture has prefect timing for me. So many changes in my life, has left me feeling helpless, and not sure where God wants me. Yesterday I met with a woman who is raising money to buy a house for Human trafficking victims ages 11-17 years. I have always wanted to help in this area, but didn’t know how. God’s timing is so prefect if we wait on Him! I feel energized, full of new life and fresh ideas of ways that I might be able to help the young ladies she is looking to help. Praise Him!

I have this scripture on a huge poster on the wall in my bedroom. It is so comforting to read it when I wake in the mornings… It is encouraging to know that God is with us..Absolutely love the picture on this post to see the beautiful mountains and Gods beauty shining through.. Thanks for posting this.

My favorite verse since I learned it as a song at age 10!
I read this verse during my morning quiet time today! It is such a great truth to know. Recently, our pastor explained that this means we are renewed by the strength of God, HIS strength will renew us. To know that our God will refresh our weary hearts with His own very strength is something that deeply touched me.

AMEN! A perfect scripture for my 10th anniversary. That was sort of my mantra while waiting on God to send me a husband! 🙂
