  1. Jennifer,

I have been blessed by your art in my home. Thank you for using your God given gifts and sharing them with us. You asked for Scripture suggestions – Psalms 62:1,2 has been planted deeply in my heart –
My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.
If God prompts you to use these verses please let me know!

    Deborah Martin

  2. Your work is so beautiful!
I need to put this verse in the bathroom and closet where I do my getting ready: You should be known for the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God. (1 Peter 3:4) I sometimes get frustrated with how I look, my weight, hair, etc. I need this to remind me that I am made in His image, the outside doesn’t matter nearly as much as the inside.

    • I hear you, Barb! I love that verse and I actually have a print using it for that same reason… a reminder that we are made in His image and that inner beauty matters most!

  3. What a beautiful print. My favorite scripture is found in Hebrews 4:16. “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need”

I am continually amazed, blown away and humbled by God’s grace.

  4. Lovely colors! Love it!! Wish everyone could love their job as much as you love yours! 🙂 It’s all a mission field, right?

I’d love to see the NLT version of Proverbs 4:23
Guard your heart above all else,
for it determines the course of your life.

    or The Voice:
Above all else, watch over your heart; diligently guard it
because from a sincere and pure heart come the good and noble things of life.

    Thanks for sharing!!

  5. I love this!

Every verse that comes to mind for me, you already have available! So, I guess that means you are nailing it! 🙂

  6. I love the essence and the feel I get when I look at this print.

My walls hold many scriptures from Isaiah 40:31 ( I crave this one and the strength it holds) to Jeremiah 29:11 (when I wonder what exactly are his plans for me) to Lamentations 3:22-23 ( Thankful for his mercy each day) to Philippians 4:6 ( I am a worrier and he says pray and not worry).

The most important one is what I open my eyes to each morning as it sits on the wall directly in front of me Psalm 118:24. “This is the day that Lord has made we will rejoice and be glad in it.”

Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful piece that has blessed so many of us 🙂

  7. This is great, I love the idea of hanging scripture in our house! I actually don’t have any at the moment, but it’s a must have! Thanks for sharing! 🙂

  8. Thank you Jennifer and everyone else for the beautiful words of our Father! What a great idea to hang Scripture throughout the house.

  9. Hey! I just went to your website to purchase a couple of your prints using your discount code and it’s not taking 20% off when I enter ScriptureArt. Can you help?

    • Hi Carmen! Sorry you are having trouble with that. I am not sure what the problem is, the code has been working today for other orders. Do you have anything in your cart aside from prints? It will only take the percent off of prints. Maybe try again? If it doesn’t work, please contact me directly at studiojru@stanton.net and I will help you out!

  10. I have just discovered your work today and browsing through your pieces on your website was like receiving a healthy dose of encouragement. Thank you! And thank you for sharing your gift with the rest of us.
I especially love the background of this piece, as well as the background of your piece, “Eucharisteo”. A third piece with the same background would be a wonderful option to offer for those (like me) who would like to make triptych of sorts. Maybe the first part of Psalm 46:10: “Be still and know…” or perhaps, the last part of Lamentations 3:23, “Great is Your faithfulness”. Obtaining a piece (or pieces) of your work is definitely on my list of “Things to Buy” for our next trip home to the States!

    • Your kind words mean so much to me, Lynne. Thank you so much for your encouragement! When you are ready to make that order and if you don’t see your suggestion in the shop, be sure to ask me and I could easily do that as a custom order for you!

      • Thank you, Jennifer! That’s really sweet of you! It looks as though we’ll be back for just a short visit in September so if the budget allows, I will happily let you know a few weeks beforehand so that it will be ready to bring back with us. I would love that!

  11. We are planning a move across country to live in my grandparents home. I would love to have the wording from Ruth 1:16 “Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.”

It was part of our wedding vows and this is a big move for us…
My husband will be leaving all “his people” and joining my extended family. Our move is from California to Connecticut.

I love your work. What a blessing to do something so special and make a living at it.

    Lina

  12. I would love to see Zephaniah 3:17 – love the thought and truth of the Lord rejoicing over us with singing.

  13. I love your work. I also think it’s pretty cool that God decided to use you in this way. What a privilege it is to serve him!

  14. 1 Samuel 16:7. Not as man sees, does God see, for man looks at the appearance, but the Lord looks into the heart.

God doesn’t judge by appearances, praise the Lord!

  15. First off you are blessed to have a job that you enjoy! That in and of itself is a blessing from God. Love the colors in this print! Love all of your work! You are truly talented!

My favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the Plans I have for you” declares the Lord. “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you.” That is my life verse.

    Blessings 🙂

  16. OOPS– forgot to finish the verse out “Plans to give you a hope and a future”.

  17. One of my all-time favorites:
“You will make known to me the path of life.
In your presence is fullness of joy.
At your right hand are pleasures forever.” – Psalm 16:11
(In some Bibles, there’s a subhead with this Psalm that says “Confidence in Yahweh.”)

Another, that I often cling to:
“Be strong and courageous. Don’t be fearful or discouraged, because the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” – Joshua 1:9

It’s lovely to hear from someone like you who loves her job!
