  1. Happy dance! I joined the Bloom club with “Pursue the Intentional Life” by Jean Fleming. Love it! Enjoyed being in the fb group and interacting with others reading the book. In fact one of the ladies and I still connect every now and then. Forever sisters! I can testify about using an older book selection. This summer I along with some college age ladies read thru “What Women Fear” by Angie. We loved having the additional resource of the Bloom Book club! Thank you ladies for your servant hearts!

    • Nanette,

It was so much fun getting to know you a little last time! I’m so glad you’re back for another study (and this one is gonna be great! Can you tell how much I love it?).

    • Martha,

Well, now; you’ll be a Star Student :). Feel free to send brownies to yours truly 😉 :).

  2. I’ve been following Annie’s blog for the past year or so and I absolutely love her. I’m about half-way through Let’s All Be Brave and this Bloom Book Club will be the incentive I need to pick it up again. (Note, I didn’t put the book down because it isn’t good – it’s pretty fabulous! Life just got in the way!)

    • Oh, Heather…tell us about LIFE! It does have its distractions…

And Annie IS pretty lovable. Reading this book will confirm that over and over.

  3. I’m very excited about this and can’t wait for a more in depth read of this great book. But I am pretty disappointed by the fact that most of the discussion is going to take place on Facebook, which I do not have. I feel like this is an ongoing issue with Incourage. It was impossible to participate in the Incourage community groups without having a Facebook. It’s just disheartening for those of us without Facebook who would otherwise be excited to participate.

    • Megan,

I PROMISE–if you’ll engage right here in comments, we’ll be thrilled. My preference is actually the comment thread but we offer Facebook for those who are more comfortable there. Thank you for your thoughts :).

      xo

  4. This will be my first Bloom book study. I’m excited to get started. I don’t have many women around me as friends so I’m hoping some online friendships might be made through this study.

    • Becky,

I bet you’ll connect with a new friend or two (or…more???). There’s a lot of energy once we get started.

  5. I’m learning to be brave. I just got this book so I look forward to reading it with you all. Usually life gets in my way with finishing these studies, so hopefully I can start and finish strong this go-round. 🙂

    • I’m praying for that, Pattie. For you and all of us. We know that’s a real possibility for many, so we’ll do our part to keep you engaged :).

  6. Laura, Tricia and Samantha,

Oooo, we’re glad to have you here. Hope this begins a trend of online studies for you :).

  7. This is the first study I am going to participate in. I am so excited. Will the videos be sent to my e-mail address for me to view at anytime or is there only a specific time you can view this? I wrote all the dates on my calendar but want to make sure they will be available to watch anytime that day. Thank you for helping a newbie get started in my first on-line bible study.
    Blessings to you,
    Annette Davidson

    • Hey Annette,

The videos and blog posts will be sent to the email address you registered if you clicked the link to subscribe here: http://e.dayspring.com/join/3jh/signupbloom This is different than the regular incourage subscription.

Once the posts and videos are made public, they’re available to view at your convenience! We don’t limit the times they’re available (and you can even watch/read entire series we’ve already completed).

      I’m SO EXCITED you’re **this** excited :).

Be sure to re-read this post because it might answer additional questions that come up!! 🙂

  8. This is my first Bloom Book Club! I have LIKED the FB page, and have requested to join group. Oh, and subscribed to email. All I have to do is purchase book.

  9. We met Annie Downs at a mother-daughter event at our church in her hometown, Marietta, GA and think she is absolutely AMAZING!!! My daughter bought her books and loves the one she has read so far. Would this book club be appropriate for her? She is a very bright, mature freshman in high schoo…the same HS Annie graduated from 🙂 LMK asap thanks!

  10. Love Bloom Book Club! I don’t usually comment or use the Facebook group but this time I think I will make the effort. The book is $3.99 on Kindle Amazon at the moment! Awesome…grabbed it this morning!

  11. This is my first bokclub! I’m so excited! I lovecAnnie Downs’ books! This is such an awesome thing!

  12. I got very schoolgirl giddy! Love the book, already finished it actually because it came out right when I needed to hear those words (Thank. You. Annie!). Great choice (in)courage, great choice. And now I’m excited to join the community, read the book again, and dive deeper!

    • I love hearing all these women who’ve ALREADY read Annie’s book! Y’all are going to add SO much to our conversations :).

  13. This is my first study and am really excited about it. I am a 75 year old woman and looking forward to learning from you young women. Thank you.

    • Cleo,

Honey…your comment blessed my socks right off my feet. Mercy…we’re so eager to learn from YOU! Don’t be shy in comments, please.

      • Am right there with you Cleo. I’m a 68 year old and was so blessed by the younger women in the summer Book Club with Jean Flemming. Couldn’t wait to get started. I have finished a couple of chapters in Annie’s book and loving it!

  14. So stinking excited to be doing this book study! I love Annie, I love this book! Can’t wait to get started. I giggled throughout the video. I know I’ll be giggling some more. You ladies rock! Thank you for doing this.

  15. Hi!

This is my 2nd Bloom book study! I’m looking forward to it!
    Thank you for the encouragement!

    Lisa

  16. I commented over on the FB page, but wanted to say hey here as well. I’m Kat, from Richmond, VA, & this will be my first Bloom book study! I’m such a nerd & love a good book study – this will be my first online experience. I also just happened to pick up the book a couple of weeks ago after having considered getting it since it came out – now I’m so glad I did!

    • That sounds downright providential, Kat :). Look forward to hearing your thoughts as we journey together.

  17. Hi there ladies!

As long as I manage to find a book in time, this will be my first study! I’ve been wanting to join one since I found (in)courage, and this study matches up almost exactly with my university break, so I finally may be able to squish it in!! So excited, loved the video!!!

    Esther xx

    • Squish it in…yes! That! It’s very easy to read and you’ll feel something stirring within as you do. I DO hope you get your hands on a book (it’s $3.99 on Kindle if that helps) :).

  18. Back again for my 3rd study! Started with A Million Little Ways by Emily Freeman (awesome)…I look forward to them now each season!

  19. This is my second Bloom study. The first I did was Emily’s Million Little Ways which I loved so much. I can’t wait to do this one and might even read it with my 13 yr old daughter because that would be so fun! She already loves Annie and will love seeing her in person, I’m sure. And as a side note, Annie posted on her instagram recently that Let’s All Be Brave is $3.79 right now for the kindle version. I don’t know if you folks mind sharing that or not, but it was helpful for me! (Though I love paper books more, I might not have gotten it at this point otherwise.) Looking forward to the journey with you all! 🙂

    • Yes! We’ve mentioned the sale price on Kindle, so thank you for thinking to include it here in comments. How FUN if you and your daughter go through it together! It’s a wonderful message to women of all ages. Maybe even the sooner, the better :).

  20. This will be my first book study with you and I’m super excited 🙂 have joined the Facebook group too

  21. This is my first study with this group. How perfect that the theme is bravery as I head off to the MOPS International convention whose theme is Be You, Bravely!

  22. This is my first book club study with you all. Perfect book for this season of my life. Excited to dig in.

  23. New to the Bloom book club. Excited to study with these ladies, familiar faces from If:Equip and looking forward to studying with all of you as well.

  24. My first Bloom book study! I’m so excited about this book study! I’m trying a 30 book challenge and read 30 books by May! I’m pumped this is one book I get to read for this challenge!

  25. I am a newbee got my book already and have started read I am ready and willing to be brave…

  26. Just signed up for my first Bloom book club. So happy! Also, just ordered the book. 🙂

  27. Hi! This is my first bloom studyand I am so excited! I actually just read the book and loved it so much that I wanted to read it again! It will be fun to do it with all of you!

  28. This is my first book club. I have just had a big life adjustment, with a new ministry, feeling a bit overwhelmed and under equipped to handle the new ministry. But I know that I have a bigger God than I can even imagine. It is time to be brave, and do the ministry that the Lord has provided for the Glory of God. Excited to be going on this journey with You All. Blessings

    • Well…timing can mean so much, Rachel. I pray “Let’s All Be Brave” is an empowering and equipping ministry to you.

  29. Just got my copy and am so excited to give this a try! I am being challenged to put myself out there for a lot of new things lately-especially things that scare me a bit. A study like this is one of those things. I somehow always end up feeling inadequate or not “whatever” enough and have stayed away from studies for years(literally!) but I get the feeling this is going to be something different-especially after watching the intro vid!!

    • Susan,

YOU ARE ENOUGH because the God Who indwells you is enough!! 🙂 SO glad you’re being brave by joining us. See? You just took a “next” step :).

  30. So excited! This is my first Bloom study. I purchased the book and am ready to get started…can’t wait.

  31. This is my first Bloom book study. My moms group is reading this book for our book club as well. Very excited to get started

  32. Y’all. Your excitement is palpable. It is wonderful to see so many people just discovering Bloom and my hope is that you’ll stick with us to the end. Because I KNOW what’s in store and it gets better each week!! 🙂

  33. The book just arrived and I am already hooked. My first Bloom book club.
    Can’t wait to get started!

  34. I’m looking forward to my first Bloom Book Club experience. Just downloaded the book to my Kindle app. Can’t wait to start!

  35. My first bloom book club! So looking forward to it! Can’t wait for my book to arrive. Thank you sponsor!

  36. Thank you for giving me the chance to have the sponsered copy. I just received it and I’m looking forward to starting reading and studying it with all of you.

  37. I just joined and I’m a newbie to the Bloom Book studies! I requested to join the FB group and can’t wait to get started with this one! I picked up my book tonight! 🙂

  38. This is going to be my first Bloom Book. I met Annie F. Downs when she spoke at SpringHill Camps in October in Michigan. Absolutely loved meeting her. Can’t wait to start reading her book.

  39. Hello,

I’m really excited to read this book! I want to let you know though, that I just went to the Facebook group page and it’s already listed as a closed group. I know the e-mail we received 2 days ago said that the group would be closed on the 20th. I just wanted to let you know in case a mistake had been made.

    God bless,
    Bethanie

    • Hey Bethanie,

You’re right–our Let’s All Be Brave FB Group IS Closed. When I said we were closing it, it meant closed to NEW MEMBERS :). The difference b/t an Open and Closed FB Group is that anyone can add themselves to an Open Group; a Closed Group requires an administrator to approve entry (basically anyone who requests to join will be admitted). Everyone who has requested to join up until this morning even has been added (yaaaeee!).

Sorry for any confusion and thank you for making sure we were on top of it (and SORRY for my delayed reply–I’ve been out of town over the weekend and not checking comments closely.).

    • No, Lisa!! We’d love to have you read along. The FB Group is now closed to new members, but that’s only one of our many ways to connect. Subscribe to Bloom emails (link above in post), read through our posts on Mondays and Thursdays and comment there :). We’d LOVE to hear from you and any newcomers who find us after our start!!

      🙂
