ST Announce study

Last week we announced that we’ll be reading Emily P. Freeman’s “Simply Tuesday” together for our fall book club – and we’ve loved watching so many of you join us in the Facebook group! If you haven’t done that yet, be sure to head over and hang out with us there – it’ll be one of several fun places to connect and chat with other community members! And if you’re doing the book club with a group of gals in your own town, invite them to join us, too!

We mentioned that this would be a book club like you’ve never experienced before, and we’re so excited about! Here’s what to expect:

What to Expect on Tuesdays

  • Hang out at noon EST with us (hosted by Crystal Stine at @incourage) on Periscope, then chat live with Emily (@emilypfreeman) at 12:05 EST! New to Periscope? Check out this tutorial!
  • Join us here on the blog on Tuesdays for a quick recap of some of our favorite parts from that week’s section
  • Grab a sharable image to invite your friends to join us

What to Expect on Thursdays

  • Can’t join us live on Tuesdays? Find Emily’s live chat video recording every Thursday on the blog!
  • Join the conversation as we chat through some small group discussion questions
  • Hang out with us (@incourage, hosted by Anna Rendell) on Twitter at noon EST to chat live about your favorite parts, ask questions, and meet new friends.
ST Periscope announce

Whether you’re joining us on your own or with a group of friends, we hope you’ll find a few new ways to make meaningful connections with other like-hearted friends as we explore what it looks like to celebrate small moment living in a fast-moving world. Join us as often as you can, however you can, wherever you are.

We’re making the bench a little bigger this time, and we can’t wait to join you on it! Will you chat with us in the comments today and let us know if this is your first time joining us, or if you’ve been with us since the beginning? We’d love to heart from you.

We’ll kick off next Tuesday as we discuss section 1: Discovering our Tuesday Home, and in the meantime sign up to make sure you never miss a book club post – they’ll be delivered right to your inbox!

Grab your copy of Simply Tuesday on sale now at DaySpring.com, or wherever books are sold.

Will it be a Twitter chat on Thursdays using a specific hashtag?

I’ve done a few book clubs with (in)courage. I find Emily Freeman’s writing so helpful, and I’m looking forward to this one!

  • Jen Hawk

This is my second book study. I’m doing this study with a group of ladies from my church. I’m ver excited to be here!

  • Anna H

This is my first time joining! I’ve been dying to read this book so I’m happy this gave me the push to buy it. :)

  • Heidi F.

This is my first time joining an (in)courage book club; I’m looking forward to it! So much so, that I’m hoping to start a small “book club” of women who can study and learn from the book together. Because of work schedules and time zones (we’re in Alaska), we aren’t able to join the live discussion on Tuesdays. Also, we’re thinking of reading the book at a slower pace and might meet every other week rather than weekly. Will the video recordings be available for us to view a week or so after they’ve been recorded? Thank you for putting this together and for all the great things that you do! :)

  • MrsMegReynolds

This is my first time joining and I’m excited to participate!

  • Sandy McClure

Is it going to be a type of book study where we can communicate by writing here on the blog about some of our favorite parts or do we need to be part of the live chats? I have been enjoying reading and underlining so many sentences in the book!! Such wonderful insights!

    • http://crystalstine.me/ Crystal

Hi Sandy! It sure is :) We’ll still have great discussion questions and opportunities for you to share & connect here, and if you can’t view the live chat we’ll have it recorded for you to watch on Thursdays – can’t wait to hear what you’re loving!

  • Stephanie Cunningham

Simply Tuesday has been on my “to-read” list as many ladies have been talking about it. I by “chance” found Emily’s post talking about the (in)courage book club this morning and decided…why not?! Thankfully I’m currently in Eastern Europe and the time difference will help me get caught up on today’s reading by scope time :)

  • Katie Goram

Is there a way to get copies of past simply Tuesday book discussions? I am going to start the book but would like to see past discussios
