We did it! We’ve celebrated our Tuesday moments, discovered our Tuesday home, embraced our Tuesday work, found our Tuesday people, accepted our Tuesday souls, and now we get to see beyond Tuesday. If you have a “simply Tuesday” story, would you link up with us? Maybe it’s a photo you shared on Instagram, or a blog post about your favorite parts of the book – whatever it is, will you share it with us? Just scroll down to the bottom of this post & click the blue “add your link” button!
What a joy it has been to try this new book club format with you. We pray you’ve felt less hustle and more hope as you’ve read along with us. If you haven’t read the entire book, or would like to gather your Tuesday people together to read together, you can always find the video replays here, for as long as you’d like to view them!
Speaking of replays, here are the videos from Tuesday!

- Chapter 13: Did the concept of “chasing the flash” sound totally foreign to you, or can you relate? What are some ways you practice chasing the flash or capturing those moments of hopeful vision for the future?

Chapter 13: Initially, I started keeping a spiritual journal as a way of “capturing” the flash. And, I guess now my blog is an extension of that.
Chapter 14: I’ve always loved that verse from Zechariah 4 and was tickled pink when she shared the word “benches” from chapter 8 in The Message. I agree with Emily’s perspective — surrendering the outcomes to the Lord is the key to celebrating smallness. He makes all things beautiful in His time — that verse from Ecclesiastes encourages me to embrace where I am right now and keep looking for His beauty in each moment.
Chapter 15: I actually wrote a “these are the days of” blog post for today’s linkup. I loved that idea! — We are actually in a season of caregiving and praying through some difficult family relationships, but there is still joy and laughter in the midst of the difficult.

Chapter 13: Did the concept of “chasing the flash” sound totally foreign to you, or can you relate? What are some ways you practice chasing the flash or capturing those moments of hopeful vision for the future?
I had never heard it mentioned that way before, but I have experienced that. I practice chasing the flash by praying about it the moment it comes.
Chapter 14: In what ways do you “despise the days of small things”? In what ways are you learning to embrace them?
I despise them in conflict, rejection, and hurt, but God has taught me—mostly through this study!—to embrace them…not as good in themselves, but as a place I get to be with God.
Chapter 15: What are some lessons Tuesday is teaching you? Share some of the things on your own personal “these are the days of ” lists right now. Share casually what your days are filled with right now without thinking too hard about it.
These are the days of puppy raising, appointment making, reading, connecting.
