  1. I didn’t do the study with you but I wanted too. I didn’t have the book. But when I get the book I will try to go back and read the posts. I would love to win this giveaway. Thanks for the opportunity.

  2. Probably one of the most powerful books I’ve ever read. Thank you for leading me through it. I know I will continue to use it and wear it out, as Priscilla suggests, to remind me and guide me through a fervent prayer life.

  3. Powerful study and book! It has changed my prayer life forever! She is a great Christian writer and knows how to get women passionate about prayer and Jesus! The movie War Room is one of the, if not the most powerful movies I have seen!! She has opened my eyes to times in past when the devil was attacking me & I didn’t realize it!

    Blessings 🙂

  4. I love this book. And I loved being able to share it with others and to read what others were sharing. That helped “cement ” the truth in my heart.

  5. This was my 2nd full reading through the book and so many new things came to life…I think if I keep reading it over and over I will have the entire book underlined and tagged! I started writing out prayers this time through, used the prayer cards in the back of the book and the ones you provided and have them taped in my prayer “closet”…I might write about that for Wednesday!! 🙂

  6. The thing I loved most about the study is being reminded that God always hears our prayers. We can cry out to Him at any time, day or night. Thank you for this study.

  7. I eagerly listen and wait expectantly on The Lord. I know He fights on my behalf. The past few months have brought huge change to my family, but He is in control!

  8. Prayers changes everything….your heart, your mind, your actions! Powerful thoughts in Fervent! Powerful thoughts during this book discussion that I will look over and write about in my journal. Thank you for this valuable time! Thanks, too, for this fantastic giveaway! Bless you all!

  9. I picked up this book when Priscilla visited my home church a few months ago, and left it untouched until this study came along. I must admit that I hadn’t opened it because of lack of confidence in my praying abilities. As a new(ish) believer, talking to God can be intimidating. But I have known for a while that prayer is so necessary to combat the enemy that plays with our every day lives!
What a powerful blessing this (book) journey is proving to be! I love the ‘prayer cards’ because I’m able to put it all on paper with the feeling in which I wish to speak. I know this book will be well worn-out with notes and highlights for years to come; A great resource for establishing my prayer life. Thank you!

  10. I loved every aspect of the book. I plan on taking the book with me to college to reread it between classes.

  11. This study helped me understand just how much prayer can truly change my life. I am so excited about continuing with what I have learned and growing in my prayer life!

  12. I have enjoyed this study and the book is one I believe every prayer warrior needs to have. Thank you and God bless!

  13. I have been most blessed by the overarching truth that my prayers are vital in this battle we are all in- my prayer life had been flagging-this has been the “shot in the arm” I needed-thank you!!! Rich blessings to you all!

  14. Through this book club I learned I need to be more focused on my prayers. That the enemy is always waiting to distract me. I’m glad I now have the resources and community to be a better prayer warrior for every aspect of my life.

  15. I loved this study! It opened my eyes and changed my prayer life. God is always listening and hears my prayers.

  16. What a blessing this always is. While I couldnt budget the book this month hubby is,getting it this week and I will be goung back and tying the blessings already received togetr.

  17. My favorite part about this study was doing it with a group of like minded believers. Encouraging each other to press on. My primary gift is encouragement. Often in a place of leadership it can feel really lonely. Like you are always serving and trying to feed others but not always looking out for and taking care of yourself. This study was refreshing. Several chapters spoke to me in unexpected ways. Specifically – Your Relationships when she spoke about the number of human hearts that have been disparaged and broken by fellow believers, by people who were supposed to be fighting with us, not against us. It seems like there is a lot of that going on but this study opened my eyes to the spiritual element. I had lost sight of that. I am encouraged to press on in prayer for these women that I love. I was also encouraged to press on in prayer for myself. I had a light bulb moment about how I pray for others but that I also need to pray those things for myself and for our family. Several things have happened during this series.. a series of little things and a few big that could really get one down but my eyes are open to the tactics of the enemy and I refuse to let him steal our families joy, peace, and unity towards Christ. Thank you ladies for offering this series. I will be watching for future series and will not be afraid to commit to studying in this way again. May the Lord bless you all!

  18. This study was exactly what I needed. God has given me a plan to pray for my family in a more specific and strategic way. I know God is going to do great things for my family through prayer.

  19. What a powerful book ! We so need in light of what is going on in our world today .
I learned so very much from this book.

  20. Thank you for doing this book for book club! God has been growing me in prayer over the past three years. It’s been amazing to see the different people, books and scriptures He’s using to encourage me in this journey. Thank you for being a part of His big picture for us to grow in prayer.
I’ve seen SO many answered prayers this month, it’s incredible! Some prayers I thought would take longer, answered right away!
Also, growing as a family in prayer has been the biggest blessing. Seeing my kids praying more and God answering and growing their faith is amazing! My six year old daughter was struggling to believe in God, to know He is real and loves her. She was really wrestling with it all. Through lots of prayer over her, with her, and for her (especially by her eight year old sister!) she prayed to accept Jesus this past week! What a great God we serve!
Excited to keep praying and growing in Him!

  21. This book was exactly what I needed! I am so excited to see God is going to work as I pray more specifically and strategically. Thank you for this great book study.

  22. I’ve heard such great things about Fervent, but I’ve not done the study with you. This book is on my TBR list and I hope to have the chance to read it and come back for the post. Thanks!

  23. I was already involved in the study of Revelation. After being ‘ incouraged ‘, I hope to read and catch up in June. Thanks for exhorting us to be Fervent in our prayers lives!
    Victoria

  24. I did not do this study, but am sure that it was solid time in God’s word. Always time well spent! I would love to win Katie Orr’s series. Thank you.

  25. This book gave me some insight into my prayer life that I needed! I have to tell you I LOVED the Blab talks – I am going to miss them. I missed Fridays ( I was in a Good Friday service). Thank you so much for this study! I hope you will do another one soon!

  26. I so appreciated the kick start and refocus this book has been for my prayer time – great encouragement and reminders of the power of God that can work in us and through us via prayer.

  27. i didn’t study with you as i came late to your website. but i did read your posts and watched the videos

  28. This book has been so challenging and encouraging. I’m a little behind but determined to finish.

  29. This was an especially powerful readalong since I had just finished her Armor of God study – I kind of need to be told the same thing over and over (preferably in different words from different sources) before it sticks, and I think that fervent prayer has finally stuck!

  30. I didn’t have the book, but would have liked to studied with you. I caught the last day. I plan on reading the Fervent.

  31. I didn’t get to do the study, but thank you for posting the video and post links. This is a wonderful giveaway! Thank you

  32. The fervent series has been a blessing to me as each of the strategy helped me to see myself and my relationship with God more clearly. Thank you so much. God Bless you.

  33. I’m way way behind, doing the study at my own pace, but I am enjoying it so much! Thank you!

  34. I didn’t participate in the study, but did read all the posts. I hope to get the book soon, and come back again and view the videos.

  35. Thank you for the wisdom and the knowledge you shared. If I win this giveaway it will be a blessing to others with who I plan on sharing it. Prayer is all I have because it allows me to directly spend time with Jesus the one my Spirit is in love with.

  36. I haven’t had a chance to do the study yet but plan to when I get the chance!

  37. While reading this book, something came up within my family. When I developed a prayer strategy for this situation, God worked in a way that showed me he is here and hears my prayers. This is an ongoing situation, but I keep reminding myself that his time and answers are not exactly mine. But because he revealed himself, I know in my soul he is with me! What a huge comfort! I am growing more in my faith and relationship with Him because of this book. Thank you Priscilla Shirer and thank you (in)courage!! <3

  38. The Fervent study was amazing and the book was unbelievable. I learned so much from it and I will treasure and share what I have learned.

  39. Fervent is great study to equip women to be stronger in our faith. Fervent gives us great tools to help us put on our Spiritual Armor and to put on our armor with prayer. Fervent shows us how to have a stronger prayer life by rethinking about the tools our Heavenly Father has given to help us along our life’s journey. Phyllis Shirer is a great woman of faith and her role in “War Room” shows us how to kick Satan to the curb ( or how to get the fox out of the henhouse) big time. Fervent brought a fresh and anew view of prayer through the eyes of a woman; we needed some tools on prayer that we could relate to because most tools on prayer are written through the eyes of men. I am so thankful my Heavenly Father for Phyllis Shirer and Miss Clara (from “War Room”) coming into our world to bring anew and afresh the world of prayer and how to applied it our daily walk with our Heavenly Father and Lord & Savior.

  40. That satan will do anything to try to distract us in our spiritual walk. We have to use spiritual warfare to fight him. Prayer and the Word are 2 powerful weapons we use to fight satan. It is a daily battle but we win by staying fervent.

  41. I just started reading & am so happy to have these posts to dig a little deeper. Thank you for all you do!!!

  42. I’m a slower processor with these kinds of books, so I fell behind during the study, but I’m still truckin’ on! I plan to read the blog posts as I go still. Such a powerful book.

  43. Thank you for all of these great resources. This giveaway would be a real encouragement to me!

  44. I loved going through this book with all of you – there’s just something about uniting together as sisters in Christ, to spur one another on, to know we aren’t the only ones struggling. Thanks for hosting this club! (I really want to enter the giveaway, but I’m in Canada. 🙁 )

  45. Thank You for doing this book study. I didn’t finish as quickly as you all did, but it has been so good. I am soaking it in slowly!

  46. It really has been a month where the enemy has been on the run. This study has really impressed on me that prayer is a non-negotiable in the spiritual battles that we will face. To be in God’s presence and confidently coming before the throne is so powerful. I feel renewed, equipped, loved and blessed by the mighty God we serve. It was awesome being part of such an encouraging group of sisters in Christ. My schedule got hectic along the way but I still read the posts and joined you all in prayer. Grateful for this time of renewal with all of you.

  47. Phew! Thanks Crystal and team I started well but then went away with absolutely no internet but am so relieved to find that you have put the catch up here in a convenient place. May the road rise up to meet all involved with the Fervent bookclub both readers and organizers ❤︎

  48. Thank you incourage for doing Fervent! This month I have learned to pray strategically and passionately. I have also found the courage to step out in faith and start the bible study God has been calling me to for over a year now. This has been an incredible journey and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. xoxo

  49. I cannot wait to begin this study with our local study group. Right now, we’re beginning the War Room Bible Study. Thank you so much for this giveaway that is loaded with extraordinary reminders on being fervent; in all things.

  50. I love this book. Because of this book, I am now much better at recognizing when Satan is involved in fears, doubts, or anxieties im having and I’m better able to tune him out and pray against him.

  51. This book was so powerful, I moved me and helped me rethink a lot of areas in my life. A must read!

  52. Late to the game…I wasn’t able to commit to the study but I do have the book and will hopefully get in gear soon!

  53. I would love to read this book… Thank you for having links available for videos and posts for those of us that didn’t get to complete the study

  54. Tried to leave a blog post twice for the giveaway but I must be hitting the wrong spot. It says I have two entries but I wasn’t able to actually write anything. Can someone help me to be able to leave a comment for the giveaway?

  55. I didn’t have the book but have been getting the emails and following your IG entries and found it all to be encouraging-don’t give up stick with it kind of encouragement -the reward is worth the struggle! I need that a lot with the faith battle of chronic illness/pain/weakness.

  56. This book study has opened up my eyes to a victorious Jesus, the one who’s already won every battle for me, and who invites me to commune with Him in prayer, strategically! I will be carrying this book with me, for years to come!

  57. Reading this right now with my small group girls from church! Can’t wait to use the tools from your study! Awesome giveaway and look forward to watching the videos

  58. I read the book and listened to the audio but couldn’t quite get it together for the study. Thank you for the giveaway!

  59. Thank you for this series! I just received the book and am looking forward to going back through these with it!

  60. It’s been a tough year and the year ahead appears to be some of the same. I could use some (in)couragement…..Thanks for this opportunity and congrats to whomever wins! I know it will be so beneficial! Blessings…J

  61. What I loved most was seeing life from a different angle. Remembering our enemy and the strength God gives to fight him. Also, I loved the Facebook group. The people there are awesome and really made this come alive like a “real” bible study. Thank you all for all that you did to make this happen!

  62. Thank you for taking time to do a book study on one of the most popular current books. It was much appreciated. I love that this book study is flexible.

  63. It was good timing during a rough season & though I so feel it’s a valley, I’m seeing what will help.
I loved the Facebook group option for the study because it was easier to connect with each other for prayer & encouragement as we read through the book.

  64. This was by far one of my favorites I learn how to tweet and use blab. I will cherish the prayer cards and share all that I have learned. Loved hearing the stories of everyone and now I’m going to miss all of you. I hope you all become my friends on Fb. Thanks.

  65. I have enjoyed reading Fervent and would like to say thank you to Crystal for leading the study and to everyone who helped her out and contributed along the way. My highlighters got a work out on this book! 🙂 I know that it will be a useful “tool” in my prayer life and I’m confident that I will reach for it again and again as time goes by. I’m keeping it right next to my prayer journal for now and, I’m looking forward to the next book!!!

  66. I am missing the weekly meetings on Fervent. I loved the book, study and insights! Are there any other studies coming up?
