  1. Karina,
Your post this morning is like a balm to our insecure and sinful souls. Even though we are unfaithful…God is NEVER unfaithful, Amen! Even in the mess we make of our lives, He chooses to call us “chosen”, “holy”, and “beloved”. Those are pretty strong and powerful words for the likes of us. I admit I don’t always feel like I am those things – emphasis on the word “feel”. I’ve learned that feelings lie and they lie often. That’s when I need to go to the FACTS of God’s Word wherein He reminds me that He is lovingkindness and I know He cannot deny himself. That’s when I need to choose to listen to the Truth vs. what my feelings or what the enemy would have me believe about myself. Fact over fiction. Thank you for so beautifully reminding me/us of the facts here today. Loved this post!
    Blessings,
    Bev xx

      Terri Davis

      • Terri, may God provide and bless your family exceedingly and abundantly!!! He is with you and near and at work even when you don’t see it. He loves you beyond measure!

    • Bev! So much Amen!

One of my friends always says that feelings make lousy leaders, but they make great followers. I try to remind myself of that often!

      Thank you for sharing!!!!!!

  2. Karina, I’m finding these words during a season of overwhelm in which I have felt as if I am failing everyone — in spite of my best efforts to the contrary. Thank you for words that act like a pressure release valve.

    • Michele,
Praying that the enemy would not undermine you with the thought that you are failing others. Truth is, sometimes we can’t be all things to all people, but praying you can be that one daughter of God who is NEVER disappointed.
      Blessings sweet friend,
      Bev xx

    • Michele,

Praying for you sweet sister. Feelings are fickle. You can’t do it all. I pray you find comfort & soul rest in doing what you can when you can & let God handle the rest. He loves you immensely!

      (((((Hugs)))))

  3. Thank you for this post, I agree with Bev it is definitely balm to soothe the soul.
    Many blessings to you!

  4. Karina,
A balm of truth, for sure. I am making a decision for my life’s next steps and sometimes fear I will disappoint or offend God, yet I know my heart is surrendered to Him. I choose today “to rest in His unfailing love. ”
Thank you for obediently writing out of the “overflow of Hid love.”
    J

    • J,
Just a reminder that you cannot disappoint God. It simply isn’t in His vocabulary. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that we disappoint God. As long as your heart is surrendered to Him, He sees you perfectly through the blood of His Son, Jesus. Nothing can change His point of view….nothing! Praying that you can seek His guidance for the best way to go so that you will be walking in His good and perfect will for you.
      Prayers and ((hugs)),
      Bev

      • Prayers for your decisions J, and thank you so much for your encouraging comment Bev. I am also in a place where I feel that I am disappointing many, thank you for the reminder that God sees us perfectly in his love for us. Blessings to you both.

    • J,

Praying for discernment for you today. May He show you what steps to take. May comfort, calm & rest come to your soul today.

      (((Hugs)))

    • J, thank you so much for sharing!!! I pray that the Lord speaks to you clearly about your next steps. May you willingly and joyfully follow His leading. May adventure and an overflowing season of blessing await you. Surrender and rest. Trust and obey. He will never fail!

  5. You ask – Do you view yourself as chosen, holy, and beloved?
I’m so thankful to now be able to answer with a resounding yes.
I struggled in this area for a very long time. I’m so thankful the Spirit of Grace doesn’t give up on us. Instead, His unfailing love pursues us, healing us, convincing us of the righteousness He has secured for us because He loves us so deeply.
    Praise Him forever! #emergingwithwings #lovesmanifesto

  6. Thank you for the words of faith and encourgement. It is a relief to know I am not alone in my emotion and forgiven in His grave. Blessings abound to all who remain in His arms. Thank you and blessings today and always.
    Diane

    • May His truth and promises take root in your soul Diane. He is with you always working on your behalf and reminding you of His faithfulness.

  7. Karina, how are you doing? A number of months back, you were struggling with all of your losses, and your heart was heavy? How can we pray for you? Blessings, Joanne

    • Joanne, you are too kind!

My losses are still quite real, but I am doing really well! I will always receive any prayers you send my way! Thank you!

  8. Karina,

Do I feel chosen, holy & loved? Not always. I know that feelings are fickle. So thankful God’s unfailing love keeps pursuing us daily. He never gives up. Refreshing to hear that His love for me isn’t dependent on my faithfulness, but His. He is always faithful & true never changing. We tend to change with our emotions.

    Blessings 🙂

    • Praying for Beth! May God be completely real to you and overwhelm you with His love and grace. He is near to you and longing to remind you that you chosen, holy and beloved!

  9. Powerful words as always.. Thank you for your faithfulness in your continuing evangelizing and for resting in God, in light of your losses. I pray that each day you are reminded of His new mercies and that you too are chosen. Friends, please pray for my daughter (17) today. She started summer school yesterday and is having a hard time because of unfamiliar surroundings and loneliness. I am praying that I can find the right words to be comfort and a representative of God’s faithfulness in this too. Praying for each of your needs, disclosed or not, T.

    • Thank you Thalia!

May your daughter be filled with the love and joy of God. May He bring unexpected godly friendships in her life. He is close to her and sees her loneliness. He longs to be her everything.

  10. Thank you Karina! I always enjoy your posts. They come right when I need it! I think of you and prayed for you after all the awful circumstances you’d endured….
And thank you to Bev @ Walking Well with God for your insights as well! God bless all the ladies here. ♥️
