  1. Thank you for this kind tribute to Mothers. It is our privilege to care for, mentor, and encourage one another in every possible way.

  2. Beverly,

Happy Mothers day to all moms out there. You have a tough job raising children in this sinful world. You are doing the best you can. All women could be called moms in a sense. We nurture care for others, cook meals, call & check on friends & family. Even run errands & go visit sick ones in hospital. Yesterday I had the privilege of getting food for a friend’s family. Their dad had a stroke a month ago & two weeks ago was in a bad logging accident where a tree fell on his left side. As a friend & caring Christian I put together all the food I could for this family. Just wanting them to see Christ’s love shine through.

    Happy mothers day everyone!

    Blessings 🙂

  3. Looking forward to a day of loving on my people!
Thanks, Becky, for encouragement to dwell in gratitude today!
Thanks also to all the women of (in)courage whose presence here makes it a teensy bit like heaven.

  4. Wishing all the moms a happy Mother’s Day! I want to encourage the single moms. I am one of them myself. I know how hard your days can be and all the decisions that are on your shoulders. Be encouraged as you are not alone. You are doing a good job. My only child is now grown and recently married. Life does get easier and better so hang in there. Try to savor the moments and always look to our precious Lord and Savior who sees everything. He will help you through all that you face. I promise you, life does get easier. On those days that are overwhelming, just do what is before you one thing at a time. Put one foot in front of the other. This was advice that an elderly woman at my church gave me. It really helped me to stay focused and keep going. God bless you. Enjoy your day.

    • Beautiful words, Kathleen. Thank you for sharing. I was raised by a single mom and can testify to the amazing-grace ways God filled in the gaps for all that we lacked.

Three cheers and fierce hugs to all the extraordinary single moms today!
