Frequently Asked Questions

  • What are (in)courager groups?

The (in)courager community groups exist to build safe, Christ-centered, welcoming, small groups for women through the (in)courage website and social media. With a variety of topics to choose from, the groups and your co-leaders are here to serve you, just as you are and where you are, in this season. We invite you to find a place that feels comfortable, where you can kick off your shoes, snuggle into the comfy couch and share your life with like-minded, Jesus-loving women around the world.

It’s a place where you can grow in your friendships with other women and be encouraged to deepen your relationship with God. (in)courager groups will be led by a team of women who have a heart for serving. They aren’t experts, but have a willingness to walk with others and (in)courage them along the way.

  • I’d love to be a part of this. Where do I start?

You can participate in the (in)couragers groups in a few ways:

    1. Join a group! If you need encouragement or want to encourage other women, we would love for you to join one of our (in)courager groups. Our next session starts in 2015 and you’ll be able to join a group at that time.

  • If you’ve registered for a group and have not heard from your leader(s) within one week, please email us  {incouragers@gmail.com}

  • 2. Apply to lead a group –  please feel free to email us if you’re interested in leading a group during the next session of (in)couragers and we’ll be sure to send you details closer to that time.
  • How do I join a group?

We’d love to have you join a group! There are a variety of topics to choose from, lead by women from various ages and stages of life. When the session is open, you’ll be able to find full registration instructions.

  • It’s mid-session. Can I still sign up?

In order to keep the community groups small, safe, and help develop deep roots, registration is now closed.

  • Do I have to be on Facebook to participate?

All (in)courager groups are hosted via Facebook, so you must have a personal Facebook account to participate. Facebook allows our groups to have a private setting which allows all groups to connect on a deeper, more personal level. Groups are set to “secret’ which means that your conversations remain private, so you can feel safe to share and connect with the other ladies in your group.

  • I’m interested in starting a group. Where do I start?

We’re always interested in new topics and groups for upcoming sessions – please email us with your contact information and group idea for consideration.

  • There isn’t a topic that interests me. Can I suggest one?

Yes, please! Our desire to is grow these community groups in a way that meets the needs of each of you, so if you see an area that you feel would benefit from a new group, please email us with your contact information and topic idea for consideration.

  • Are these groups only for women?

Yes. (in)courage exists to serve and encourage the hearts of women, and our community groups desire to bring women closer together, and closer to God, in a safe environment.
