Bible Study
Tune back in here for an entire list of our (in)courager groups.
Rooted: Women Rooted in God’s Word, Drawing Closer to Christ
with Brooke Jackson and Karina Allen

(in)courage is about relationships – with Jesus Christ and each other. This group will use God’s word to deepen our relationships with Jesus Christ and develop relationships with others.
We will read and study God’s word by reading the bible, Christian Bible study books, as well as Christian living books.
God’s Word is alive, active and should be lived out in our lives. The women in our group should expect to grow, flourish, and be transformed — both individually and collectively. We will do life together while pursuing God through the written word.
Note: Our current selection is Greater: Dream Bigger. Start Smaller. Ignite God’s Vision for Your Life by Steven Furtick.

(in)couraged to Mend
with Jacque Watkins, Tracie Stier-Johnson, and Denise Hughes

We are women who have seen and walked through broken places. And because of those valleys we’ve seen God’s redemptive power, love, mercy, and grace move through our lives. We’ve experienced healing, freedom, and forgiveness and want you to experience it too.
We’d love to have you join us in discovering the glory God intended for each and every one of us as we dive into the hope He has for us and into relationship with each other!
In addition to frequent communication on our Facebook page, our group will meet once a week at one of our blogs.
Note: Our current selection is Mended: pieces of a life made whole, by Angie Smith.
(in)couraging you in your pursuit of Proverbs 31
with Angela Ambroise and Wendi Lombardo

We are a group of women who are not afraid of the biblical traditions of being a wife and mother, but also understand that there is a way for us to be the Proverbs 31 woman in the world today!
Strong and Graceful Oaks
with Natalie Snapp and Jennifer Upton

“To all who mourn in Israel, he will give beauty for ashes, joy instead of mourning, praise instead of despair. For the LORD has planted them like strong and graceful oaks for his own glory.” – Isaiah 61:3
Join us as we continue our journey of becoming “Strong and Graceful Oaks!” This group will study relationships with an emphasis on Christian women friendships. Though this will often be our focus, much of what we learn will be applicable to ALL relationships. For example, we will examine questions like “How do we handle conflict with a friend in a way that honors God?” and “Is it OK to set boundaries with people who are not healthy and if so, how?”
It’s true that one of the finest gifts God has given us is the gift of relationships. Healthy relationships can enrich our lives in ways we never could have done alone. However, we all know that relationships can get messy. What do we do in the mess?
This group will meet once a week at www.nataliesnapp.com and occasionally at www.spiritualglasses.me. In addition, members can participate in our Facebook community as often as they wish!
Looking forward to getting to know you!

How Do I join the Bible study group
There were a few I had interest in as I read what was offered such as woman around age 50 because I don’t go to many places and don’t have a lot of friend that I do things with today. My old friend live a life style I have walked away from so even thou I am friendly when I see them I choose not to go out to the places they still like to go today. I enjoy home life, family, and the small bible study some of us ladies from the apartments that I live in have formed and do over the spring, summer, & fall outdoors in the lawn one evening a week. But I feel as if I stray from being as faithful to my studies if I don’t stay with a regular bible study is why I choose “Bible study group”. I don’t loose my thirst for the learning, but I do get very sloth in my practice of doing so with out the help and encouragement of a group. I live in Monroe Mi. and would love a Bible study group that meets on a regular bases. Thank you so much for your time. God Bless, Stella
