(in)RL 2014: Agenda

Friday April 25, 2014: Opening (in)RL Session

{ An hour and a half-ish }

Tune in by yourself on Friday for the opening session of (in)RL. Connect via Twitter with women around the globe who are watching with you.

{ You. Your computer. In your comfy clothes eating popcorn & M&M’s. How awesome is that? }

Screening times (EST): 9am / 1pm / 6pm / 9pm

All times are in Eastern Standard Time {North America} – just click them to find your corresponding local time and tune in.

  • 1) Welcome to (in)RL 2014 – Kick Off   {2 minutes}

    Kick back as we welcome women from around the globe and share how this whole weekend of awesome is going to go down.

  • 2) A Social Media Love {Thy Neighbor} Story   {8 min}

    Last fall the (in)courage community did something new. Or rather, they joined a new thing that God was already doing. They became radical, mobilized, wildly generous givers. Our hope was for $74,000 to support a van, a classroom, a computer lab, a generator and a second home for our sisters and the work of Mercy House in Kenya. But this community “refused to be denied” the opportunity to give. And has raised $112,438 to date. This is their story.

  • 3) We Can Do Something EXTRAordinary   {5 minutes}

    This is the (in)RL 2014 theme song music video. We think you’re gonna love it.

  • 4) We Need YOUR Story   {Friday Keynote: 80 minutes}

    The past two years we have explored the hurts of community and the choice to stay when it’s easier to walk away. This year, we are focusing on the “how;” what building community practically looks like; and how we can see His glory in and through our everyday life, relationships, and stories. We can influence and learn from the person sitting right next to us. It’s amazing how much our stories probably overlap. We just have to show up and watch Jesus begin to show off. More than 30 women in different stages of life will share their personal testimonies and stories of community, the messy and the beautiful and the beautifully messy.

  • 5) (in)RL 2014 Outtakes and Bloopers   {3 mins}

    Laughing at ourselves – the best kind of medicine.

Saturday April 26, 2014: Meetup and watch together

{ About an hour and a half }

On Saturday meet up with old friends and new to spend a few hours in real life community. Think of it as a retreat where you don’t have to leave town. Pick the topics that interest you most or watch ‘em all – it’s totally your call.

{So you. Your friends. Meet new friends. Hang out. Watch webcast. Be (in)couraged. Eat Snacks.}

Screening times: All videos will be available for a 48 hour period starting Friday night at midnight (EST). So, when you’re ready, just log on and the videos will be ready for you. Not enough time to watch all the videos at your Meetup? You can log back in any time in that 48 hour period to watch what you missed!

  • 1) Welcome to the (in)RL Worldwide Meetup Day!   {2 mins}

    In a nutshell, why today matters. Why we’re not just having a regular conference and why we’re so thrilled you’ve stepped out on this (in)RL limb with us!

  • 2) We Need YOUR Story   {Saturday Keynote: 60 minutes}

    NEW this year! We have another keynote just for Saturday! Same theme, new content. The past two years we have explored the hurts of community and the choice to stay when it’s easier to walk away. This year, we are focusing on the “how;” what building community practically looks like; and how we can see His glory in and through our everyday life, relationships, and stories. We can influence and learn from the person sitting right next to us. They have a story. We have a story. It’s amazing how much our stories probably overlap. We just have to show up and watch Jesus begin to show off. More than 30 women in different stages of life will share their personal testimonies and stories of community, the messy and the beautiful and the beautifully messy.

  • 3) Craft Video Tutorial   {8 minutes}

    We all like the thought of doing crafts, but sometimes things get lost in translation from the steps online to the pieces of the project we’re holding in our hand. No worries! Hosted by Jen Schmidt, in the comfort of her home, this will be a simple step-by-step craft everyone at your Meetup will have fun with!

  • 4) Community Stories – The Roadshow   {20 minutes}

    Hosted by Crystal Stine & Anna Rendell, we’ll travel across the United States to hear the community stories of 3 amazing women, living courageously in their everyday.
