  1. The book is ordered! The book club is featured on my blog! I’m ready to pour myself a hot cup of tea, curl up in my favorite chair by the window, wrap myself up in the old faded quilt, and lose myself in this book.

    Can’t wait to begin!

  2. I am really looking forward to joining in this discussion. It was wonderful to *meet* Ann through this video. She is so sweet and humble and down to earth. Thank you all for your hard work in putting all this together.

  3. I am really looking forward to this. I am half way through the book and know I will be rereading it! We learned some VERY valuable lessons about gratitude last year, but there is so much more to learn! I want gratitude to be my every breath….unfortunately it is not….yet!

  4. My copy should be here tomorrow, and I can hardly wait! Blogged about the book this week, and was overjoyed at the number of friends who agreed to join in or emailed that they had already heard about it and had ordered it!

Love the personal videos and “getting to know” you all. It makes it so much more real.

Thank you for all the work you’ve put into this selection!
    Love

  5. I got through 5 pages and was completely involved. I kept reading excerpts to my husband, who also enjoys Ann’s writing. I’ll have to check out the book club, as I have thought about hosting a book club at my home.

  6. I blogged about Ann’s book before I’d even read it… I’ve been reading her blog for a couple of years and I was sure her book would be life changing… I knew that someday I’d have the opportunity to have my own copy… and I was so blessed! One of my “blogging friends” read the post and bought me an electronic copy!! I was so surprised and overjoyed – I shed tears when I opened the email and understood what it was!! 🙂 I’ve read it through once already and I’ve started it again… I’m looking forward to sharing it with others as well… it’s just as life-changing as I knew it was going to be… 🙂

  7. Just got my copy…read the first chapter & cried…it’s already hitting me hard….this is going to be such a wonderful experience! I’ve been reading Ann’s blog for awhile now & just LOVE it, to have this book is such a treat & I know I will be going back to it many times! I cannot wait for the book club discussions to start!! Absolutely life changing!

  8. I’m so looking forward to this study. I’m reading the book slowly – savoring every page. I went to Barnes and Noble this afternoon to get a book light …. bedroom lamp was a little dim. Now I’m all set. Enjoyed this interview – looking forward to meeting many others on this journey of gratitude.

  9. HI! I’m on my way ~ finishing chapter one… I ordered a book through Amazon for my sister. I’m thinking of a giveaway this week too! I am so happy for Ann, her family and this community we have here in blogland! She is certainly one to whom God has given talent that is multiplying it many times over!
    Blessings to all ~ Maria

  10. This was a lovely video so nice to see and hear Ann in person. Living in Australia I don’t get the chance to attend conferences where she may be . I bought an electronic copy of this book before the Book Club was announced and had just purchased two more hard back copies from Amazon the day the special was announced with DaySpring. This is a book that I wanted to be able to feel, smell (I love the smell of books, I know –Weird!), and share with friends. I am so looking forward to the discussions each week. I absolutely love Ann’s use of words and sentence structure. Just off from the ordinary and really makes me think.

  11. When do we know if we we blessed to receive a donated book? I would like to know, so I can order it for $10.00 if I need to.

  12. Can’t wait to see what all the fuss is about! I trust your judgement so much…I know I won’t be disappointed.

Hope I don’t miss out due to being techno-challenged. Is there anything special I need to do in order to be included other than just go to the Bloom page and sign in?

I can’t wait to read and get started!

  13. I had coffee with my girlfriends and one mentioned the book she just read! Next week I was at another friends bible study and the teacher mentioned a reading from a book she read. Three other girlfriends and I went to the book store and bought this book so we could share and see what is so great in this book that one would say changed her life. WOW! I am in chapter 8, we met for coffee again this morning. Thank you Ann V.
Earlier during the summer while I was walking with one of the above friends, she suggested as we walk to share what we are thankful for. It certainly makes the day and one think and be thankful. Your book I will give as christmas gifts or better yet just a daily gift. Blessings to you
