Hey all!!! We have just loved sharing the past several weeks with you and can’t wait to dig in on our next book, which we’ll announce in May.
In the meantime, we are really excited about what will be happening on bloom (in)courage while we are in-between book studies. As many of you know, (in)courage has an incredible group of women who contribute, so we have asked them to join in on the fun. They will be sharing bits of their own books, other books they love, and lots more. Make sure and stop back often, because we are planning to keep things going and we don’t want you to miss any of the good stuff!
We will be kicking this in-between-study time here on Wednesday, when we will have a fantabulous giveaway that you are going to want to take part in…so, don’t forget!
Speaking of good stuff, congratulations to Lisa-Jo, our resident (in)courage hero, who makes all of us writers look much more organized and wonderful than we really are. She welcomed her third child yesterday – her first girl, Zoe Grace!! She is absolutely adorable, so please join me in welcoming this sweet new pumpkin into the world.
Here is a video of Jess and me trying very unsuccessfully to pass along valuable information about the book club. We fail miserably but wanted to post it anyway because nothing says “make yourself at home” like screaming children and cluttered counters.

You girls crack me up! You should see my counters… spotless. Well, they have been since earlier today when I filled two baskets worth of stuff and stowed them in my bedroom…
Thanks so much for all you both do!
Better Angie’s counters than mine. In my galley kitchen, the counters never seem to be spotless… I think that is because there isn’t much space. 🙂
that was great….Thank you for being real!!!!! I am looking forward to may!
Jo
Oh, my….I miss y’all.
🙂
(Rooster hair & all 😉 )
Come to Nashville and visit. 🙂 xo
The gum! My mama was the gum police at our house. Love the realness of this. Fun.
Can’t wait to hear from all the authors. Annie is one of my favorites. Thanks for all you do.
Lol! That was a GREAT video – so much fun! Can’t wait for May!!! :-)!
Courtney
i feel so at home that i’m thinkin’ you should bring messy counters and babbling Charlotte on the road with you as stage props, Angie.
this makes me want to have important information so I can make a hilarious video with a friend. and thanks for the “bl-ooooom” throwback– it’s your dedication to the fans that really makes you shine 😀
seriously, so glad there’ll be regular stuff in the interim. enjoy your “break”!
we forgot to post the link – here’s the video, for old times sake. http://vimeo.com/6369689
LOL this was great to see this morning! Y’all crack me up! Love the gum, rooster hair, and NEW hair cut Jessica! Although I might be late in telling you that! LOL
love the video. It made me smile! My counters are a mess too. Hoping my white gloved Aunt doesn’t show up today 🙂 Can’t wait for May.
Ladies, dear ladies,
That was the healthiest, most fun video to share ever. Too many times in the Christian world we don’t share our scrapes, bruises, and “not too perfect” stuff.
Can’t wait to see the new posts. You both did an amazing job. Rest up.
jan
You guys are just too funny. You remind me so much of myself at that age. Never ever lose this – your smiles, your quips and the REAL you. I made an acronym for REAL – Release Everything (to God) and Live… You are living this. I am so grateful that I can sneak a peek at your lives as you live them with Christ at the centre.
May Christ remain at the Centre of your Lives (a praise song).. for ever.
Blessings,
Jan
I love this space.
And y’all are so stinkin’ cute, I can hardly stand it!!
Your video made me smile big…and Jessica, I LOVE your new haircut!! Adorable!
And Angie…love the rooster ‘do too 😉
Can’t wait to hear the next book selection!
HAHA! That was great, thank you for the *real* video 😉
You two are so hilarious! It made my morning 😀 So glad you all are just you, kids, counters & all. Have a refreshing break.
Nothing better than just kicking it back and being real. Isn’t that what true community is all about? Some wild and crazy things happened at church this morning, little leftover gifts from the One Thousand Gifts study. I will blog about it later, but I had my grandbaby overnight last night and I’m a wee bit zombified at the moment so I’ll just say I love you gals and appreciate you so very much. Have a beautiful Sunday and a great week. Oh, and thanks for helping me feel less guilty about my messy counters. 😉
Love it! You have to be silly at some point when you are serious during the book discussions!
I love watching these videos! You two are so funny! Can’t wait til May and excited fos the “in-between” time. 🙂
Thanks for the fun video. I had to watch it a second time. 🙂 It was a nice distraction of what I was thinking about at the time. 🙂
Delightfully refreshing and I’m letting go of counter- clutter- guilt as I type 🙂 LOL
Loved the video…real mommas! 😉
and this is why I love incourage! all the realness, even the counters! thank you for showing this and bringing a smile to this face 🙂
Adorable! How fun to watch you two having fun. Makes me want to go make videos with my friends. 🙂

whoo,hoo, hoo,ha,hahahaha!!!!!!
ah.
ahem.

off to bed now. Thanks. =)
This video is hilarious, I love it! What a dose of reality to make us all feel at home! I’m way behind on One Thousand Gifts, need to catch it up. But then looking forward to the next selection! Thanks, girls! 😉
Ohhhhh! Thank you for the early morning gaffaw! You look like you are having so much fun…what a blessing to have each other. Loved my first journey into your book club and am looking forward to more. You are very much appreciated 🙂
Had to watch it twice to get enough giggles for the day. Thanks for being you…I’ll miss you until May.
This is a-maz-ing!!!! I LOVE it!!!! 🙂
I’m so excited to see what the next book is going to be!! hopefully just as amazing as the last one!!!! 🙂
Seriously… I just love ya’ll! Wish we could get together for lunch or coffee or something. Maybe the next time I get to Nashville… or if you’re ever up around St. Louis. Enjoy the break!
Y’all crack me up!
I wasn’t able to join in the book club for One Thousand Gifts since I was (and still am) in the middle of reading the Bible through in 90 Days. Woot! Anyway, I plan on diving in after we’re finished (it wraps up on March 31 if I’m on schedule with everyone else) and go back through the videos of each chapter. I can’t wait!
That was HILARIOUS!
I love these videos because they are so natural and effortless (um, totally not saying you didn’t…you know, put effort), but it’s great seeing the ‘real’ you(s).
Um, love the counter! Messy or not, ha.
And it’s not fair to be born as pretty as you too. 🙂
That was the funniest thing I’ve seen in a long time 🙂 It was nice to see you in new outfits, too 😉 Thanks for what you do, can’t wait for the next book!
New clothes were refreshing for us too 🙂
LOL…thanks for sharing REALITY!
And btw, Jess, your hair is so cute!
Oh you lovely, crazy, fabulous, hysterical women! Just peeking back on line after a weekend of delicious discovery of how much one can love a baby’s toes and saw this. You give me the warm fuzzies! Thank you for keeping it real, making us all feel so loved, and introducing my little Zoe to her (in)courage family.
Love you girls – *because* of your kitchen – not in spite of it! 🙂
Lisa-Jo
We LOVE you. Can’t wait to meet Miss Zoe. xo
Haha! You two are so funny. I love that you keep it real. I just rewatched the old video and laughed all over again. So glad that Bloom is place where we can discuss serious topics but have fun doing it.
Love it! Hilarious, real and fun!!
Love Angie’s faces after Charlotte has eaten the last puffs!! Just awesome!
And the gum! Oh the gum! I would totally do that! Ha!
Greatest. Video. Ever. You girls are adorable and I’m just so blessed to call you friends. Love the haircut, Jess. 🙂
But I like your messy counter! It makes me feel better about mine! I am not the only mom in the world who doesn’t have a clean counter all the time. 🙂
(Or a clean body, I say, as our daughter tattoos me with a marker. LOL!)
Love you girls sooo much! Can’t wait to hear what the next book is!
ps love your new hair Jessica ~ and Angie you are cute no matter what your hair is doing – you are both so adorable and REAL!!
