  1. This is a great idea, Jessica and Angie! You may have already selected all the albums you plan to share, but I wanted to let you know about a brand new release called “What Do You Want? Nine Lessons & Carols for Advent.” You can read all the info about the project and listen to the tracks for free at The Humble Bold: http://thehumblebold.com/

    My daughter and her husband are professional musicians in Seattle, and they spearheaded this project along with friends from their community and church. All proceeds from sales of this album go to Arts Aftercare (artsaftercare.org), a ministry to rescued victims of human trafficking.

    {Also, as a mom, I just have to slip this in here. If you listen to track four (Second Carol: Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence) and track 8 (Fourth Carol: It Came Upon a Midnight Clear), that’s my daughter’s sweet, pure voice. And I love the strings on that one. Also fun, the last carol, Silent Night, arranged in a Hawaiian Cowboy style. What could be better than ukelele and harmonica for Christmas? *smile*}

    I look forward to reading your recommendations. A lovely, worshipful Advent season to you.

    Love, Jeanne

  2. love all these “gifts” you share with us here ~ such beautiful books and now music that will draw us all closer to Him at this magical time of year ~ blessings

  3. I’m excited about the book recommendations! I just finished reading Angie’s What Women Fear with 2 friends and we loved it. After the holidays we’d like to start another book/study that steps it up a bit for us by making us dig into scripture on our own. Will any study recommendations be on your list? Thanks in advance!!
