  1. i think this program is amazing – allowing those who can’t afford the book to still participate and giving them free books. I am in the Philippines and am not sure I can find a copy in local bookstores here, would you know though? I was almost tempted to request for a free one, but it would be better if someone else who really doesn’t have money to spare for a book would get it. I sure will be happy with the savings though, hehe 🙂 Is the ebook version available for sale too?

  2. I’m so excited about this! I have gone to every book store in my area to find Holley’s book – to no avail. I had the same experience with God’s Heart for You. My local christian bookstore said they would order it for me, only to call me 2 weeks later and tell me they couldn’t get it. I had it on my to-do list to order it from Amazon…. yeah, I haven’t stopped long enough or managed to find the extra bit of $ to do that just yet. Thank you, Dayspring and Holley, for the chance to get it!

  3. Holley,
This sounds like something I would very much like to add to my ‘women’s book collection.’ I am a group facilitator for my friend’s Christian ministry, also I lead a writer’s group through her ministry once a month. I am going to order one for myself, and after reading, might want to order several for gifts for women in my groups. I would love to have them personally autographed if that would be possible. Would appreciate any feedback. Thanks so much for having such a caring heart for women 🙂

  4. Thank you for allowing me this opportunity to participate. I have lost half of my job (they reduced my hours by half) and so our finances have been pretty tight.

    I am so grateful,

    Thank you.

  5. I’m so embarrassed to have to ask, but I would love a copy of this book. At this time we just cannot fit it into our budget. My husband is on a commissions only job and we have been in some lean times. God always provides for all our needs, but I haven’t been able to get anything extra in a long time! I work too which just helps make ends meet sometimes. God is amazing!

  6. we have been on such a tight budget lately, i would love a copy please. thank you in advance.

  7. Your site said the offer would be good until March 9, but here it is the 8th, and the site says the offer is already closed???

    • I noticed this too – “through March 9th” – that’s tomorrow. We’re still in the through. Hmm, strange. Perhaps they already received more requests than sponsors and closed early?

  8. I’m not sure if I successfully did what I set out to do…. 😉
I am purchasing a book for “someone who needs one” and not one for myself.
I had to fill out the info as if it were for me….will it go to the scholarship ladies or come to me?
    Just wondering…

I chose to give back instead of GIVE TO ME this go around. I know God will provide a super deal another time for me to purchase the ebook version. I can wait! 🙂

  9. Little bit upset that I missed out on this. I finally plucked up enough courage to put my embarrassment over not being able to afford a book aside to join in this spring.
Hope everyone enjoys the book, maybe I can join in the summer.

  10. I just bought this book last night at a Lifeway Bookstore. It caught my eye right as I was leaving. I flipped through it and saw that it had practical helps to move one forward. I liked that as I have just begun counseling after losing my husband of 30 years Sept. 22, 2011. Support had been very very limited from the day he was buried and everyone has been trying to fix me, because of that, and the other life issues going on I feel like no matter what i do or don’t do to address their labels (i.e. enabler, and hoarder, and everything else, I haven’t even been able to grieve just the loss of my husband. I don’t feel much of amazing at all. until i connected with someone who also lost a spouse and they talked to me like a regular person, not a problem to get fixed so as not to be a problem. I have been raising and protecting my grandkids from alot of things the last several years and exhausted…. i started reading this book today and just thought, how much more would i get through the grieving process and move through working on other issues with a few atta girl instead of you need to do this, you should be doing this, if you cleaned out the garage you would lose weight, I look forward to the Lord ministering to my heart and moving me in a better healthier direction closer to HIM, Sorry I am saying way too much…. thank you for a wonderful ministry. I was reading the blog in the Holy Experience and was thinking, that sounds alot like the book i just got….lol lol lol then realized it was inspired by the book!!! Just how cool is that!!!????

  11. I filled out the form last week and haven’t heard back. Does that mean I will not receive a free book? I’m really hoping I will-this book looks amazing.

    • I had the same situation – I did not receive an email either way. Should I have gotten an email no matter what or do you only receive an email if you DID get a book?

      I’m just confused.

      • I too am very confused as to how we were to be notified if we were selected to receive a free book. I registered on the first day it was available and from what I understood, we were supposed to receive an email on 03/14/12. I assumed we would hear either way but I have not.

I will not be able to purchase a book on my own due to my husband and myself being unemployed so this was my one opportunity. I am still hopeful that I might be one of the lucky ones to get a book. I would just like to know something one way or the other.

    • I haven’t recieved an email yet either. No idea if everyone was going to be notified or not. That was the impression I got from the post. Hopefully we will hear something soon either way.

  12. I filled out the request for e-copy of the book prior to March 9 deadline. But got no book yet.

  13. Thank you, Jesus. I just received the book and the beginning made me cry. I’m a stay at home mama with 6 kids and I don’t feel amazing or even enough most of the time – what a lie that has been stealing my joy!

  14. Anyone know of another e version besides Kindle? They don’t even allow purchases from Kindle for my country, Singapore! 🙁 I really want to start reading this book and feel like I can’t wait for my hard copy to come in July/August. (I had it shipped to a friend who will be going back to the States and then returning to Singapore then)

  15. Mine arrived yesterday! Just opening it made me cry! Thank you!!! So glad to be a part of this with all of you.

  16. Thank you, Dayspring and all the sponsors of donating money to send a book to those who requested one. I received mine a few days ago and have read the first 2 chapters and have just watched the video on them. Thank you so much to all the wonderful people that made this possible! thank you for my book!

  17. i THOT I HAD REGISTERED FOR A BOOK ALSO…I WOULD VERY MUCH LIKE TO HAVE ONE…AND HAVE NOT BEEN NOTIFIED OF GETTING ONE…THANK YOU.
