  1. Thanking God today for his unfailing promises! He always sends the Holy Spirit to hold our hands and walk these paths with us. Even when we walk through the deepest, darkest times, he is there beside us, just as he is when we are standing on the brightest, sunniest mountaintops. God is Always so good.

  2. This is scripture of comfort and unfailing love. It tells me that no matter what I do or where I go, I have the confidence that He is there also. Not only that but He was present before I got there, to prepare and wait for me, to receive me, and to go with me. It drops me to my knees to fathom such love. My goodness how our lives would change so dramatically if we truly could grasp that truth!

  3. We are never be far from Our Lord. We will forever be in His presence. Always with us. As I write this I feel the presence of the Lord. Letting me know He will always be with me. Beautiful what I am feeling this cool breeze across my face. Thank You Lord!!!

  4. I love the Psalms and the ones right through there especially. I’ve considered Psalm 143 as my life scripture although some have thought it was not very uplifting. I have had Fibromyalgia most of my adult life and it is my enemy. The 143rd addresses my need for the Lord to protect me from the pain that has made my life difficult. Anyway, it works for me and that’s what counts, right?

    • Gayla…. Fibromyalgia is so intense and hard… I don’t have it but have known people who have had it. Praying for you tonight that it will not define you…but that that you will rest secure in your identity as a daughter of the King, and that the Lord will make His nearness to you tangible and sweet….even now. Bless you!!

  5. Love this Scripture…and how it speaks of the sovereignty of God, that nothing comes into my life that is not filtered through God’s hands of love. I believe there are no “accidents.” I believe God planned who my birth parents would be and who my Mom and Dad would be, and both influences, plus His, are needed to help me become all that He created me to be. I believe that God sees the end from the beginning. He knows me intimately, He knit me together in my mother’s womb, one day I will see Him face-to-face and I will know as I am known…until then, I will expect a mystery. It is His plan that’s important, not my desire… I wrote about it here…. http://bethwillismiller.blogspot.com/2009/10/conceived-on-memorial-day-almost.html

  7. I love knowing that He is always present and never will leave us. Thank you for this verse for today. Blessings

  8. This is indeed a goood scripture and much needed today. Yesterday I lost a dearly loved pet Iguana. He died while in my arms. I was trying to comfort and console him and lo and behold his big body shut down & he went to be with God & have a perfectly healthy body!

    He will be dearly missed!

    Love ya Iggy–Love everyone here!

  9. This scripture really hit home with me when I first arrived overseas to do a year of missionary work. When you feel so lost in a new place you can look at the sky and know He is still there! So reassuring!

  10. I love this! It’s so peaceful and with such a peaceful reflection in the verse. Thank you for putting these two beautiful expressions of God’s beauty together.
