Rejoice evermore.
Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Thank you for the new desktop background! I was just thinking today that I would like to change my wallpaper, so I was very happy to see this! I love the purple leaves.
I love the purple, too – doesn’t God have a lovely fall palette?

I absolutely love fall & the beautiful fall colors God splashes on us! I constantly pray about/for people things.
My prayer requests now are
1) oldest sister with back problems and preparing for 2 separate trips down here (5 hrs 1 way) to help dad decide on living situation.
2) My aging dad–that he be receptive to assisted living and go look at some and see how nice they can be. He has already stated he can’t manage life on his own, but he’ll tell me later he’s fine. He is 87.
Beth, I have prayed for your requests. This can be a difficult time in life when decisions have to be made for parents. I had both parents pass away with cancer before those kind of decisions had to be made. Either way, God is good and He will sustain you.
Blessings, Shelley
One of my favorite verses and I also used it as my new desk top. I love fall. We prayed in church today for our Nation & it’s future, for repentance and revival in individually, as The Church and as a Nation. I read Abraham Lincoln’s call for prayer and fasting from March 30, 1863. It seems not much has changed and I will continue to use this prayer. I hope you might also. http://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/ws/index.php?pid=69891
And I love that you told me what kind of tree this is. π

Love the fabulous colors of the fall season, the artistry of God showing in everything! And the timely Scripture to give thanks in every thing – even the difficult seasons such as I am in now. Keeping my eyes on Him keeps me going with joy even in the pain, knowing He is with me always.

Oh my… this is stunning! It has caught the eye of several co-workers already… and has perhaps opened the door to share who made these beautiful colors come to life. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
May I ask, where was this taken? And/or what kind of tree is this? I think I will need to leave this calendar up on my computer well into next year. π

Dawn, I look forward to your new calendar every month and take the opportunity to pray for you when the new one comes up. I was so excited and honored to meet you at Becoming~ You are an inspiring woman! Many blessings to you!
Hey would you mind stating which blog platform you’re working with?
I’m looking to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a tough time selecting between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.
The reason I ask is because your design seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something completely unique.
P.S Sorry for getting off-topic but I had to ask!
oh wow …
those colors are magnificent! I am actually replacing a picture of a granddaughter with this inspiring photo!
I am so encouraged and inspired by the Scripture you’ve selected … and here’s another one that is lifting my heart …

We prayed for our country and sang God Bless America at church this weekend, too. If our leaders will seek God, he’ll bless.
Thanks so much for the desktop background!! Love having something new and true when I first turn on my computer π
Deb, I love that: new and true. π
