  1. I’ m reminded of the scripture in Isaiah “…and a little child shall lead them”. When we humble ourselves like children we are truly coming unto Him. I really enjoyed your post. It is real-life applicable. Very sweet…

    • Thanks, Lisa. I’ve been trying to stop thinking of my faith as an achievement, and watching my kids is definitely helping. Humble, simple, daily: those are the watchwords that are increasing my joy 🙂

  2. beautiful post-u! thank you. I have been thinking and being lead to scrapbooking my failth for my kids and I like your simple idea about using scripture, doodles, and markers! maybe the kids and i could even do it together!

    • I love that idea! So often I have my ways of reaching out to Jesus so boxed in it’s hard to be creative. Why _not_ use the activities and habits that bring us joy every day (like dance, or art, or scrapbooking) to connect? Even better with the kids!

  3. Wow. This might be one of my favorite posts ever on (in)courage. It spoke right to my heart especially since yesterday I wrote a status update on Facebook along the lines of what this post was apart. Your children sounds a LOT like my little one. 🙂 The things we can learn from children. 🙂 Thanks for this!

  4. Children often have a way of showing us just how to be open & free in worship–the way God intended it to be.

Every morning I start out my day with some prayer and quiet time in the dark living room & then I read/listen to my Bible. I find this helps me recharge and get ready for a busy day. I also listen to Christian music on the way to and at work. All this keep Jesus inside me daily.

I find a need to praise God & worship him freely and often. It helps me with the daily grind of a job I don’t like!
