  1. Thank you for the link and the ideas… I used to be that “must have the perfect gift for each person” to the point of making myself sick trying to meet my OWN crazy expectations. Recently I learned that was 1) going overboard 2) not necessary for half the people on my list because they didn’t care as much as I did. This has caused me to pause so much that I don’t even want to give stuff anymore. (though I love stuff – especially words) and I am in a weird sort of limbo on the material/shopping front. The Good news is that I am in a greater search to find a gift to touch the recipients heart. I have found that is many times not a tangible item. Time spent, a note written, a re-gift of something I own and they like – are all ways I can give meaningful gifts too. Sometimes you have to think out of the box or change a behavior to get to something much better!
