  1. Hi Ladies,
This book held lots of creative ideas, and certainly some challenges. I have felt convicted in a good way. I like how Robin encouraged us to thank God for our circumstances instead of wishing things were different. It reminded me that God is perfect and His orchestration is perfect….I need to follow the conductor. A big part of that is, like Robin said, we/I need to demonstrate love to my people today simply through the gift of my presence. No fancy meals or elaborate plans….simply BE with the people God has put in my life. I believe my intentional presence is the best gift I can give my friends….going to work on this. All good stuff. I loved all the different perspectives of such faithful conveyors of God’s Word.
    Blessings and thanks,
    Bev xx

    • Bev,

God allows trials for a reason. I ask Him what it is I am to learn from this circumstance. He may be trying to bring us closer to Him. I remember when my mother was bedridden for two years with severe dementia. My dad would read the Bible daily-NT, Psalms & Proverbs. He got convicted that he had broken the Ten Commandments many times. He talked with my pastor & got re baptized. Good can always come out of our trials. We must be willing to stop & ask what it is.

  2. This practical encouragement is like gold. My life’s desire has been to be that “shelter from the storm”. (Yep, thanks Bob Dylan!) Christ has been my friend and shelter, inspiring in me a longing to be that for others, in His name. Thank you all for your hard work equipping us to live like Jesus.

  3. Thank you for Craving Connection. I have been reading the book for Lent and I really enjoy each chapter and the challenges at the end of each.

Congratulations on this wonderful book!! You offer practical wisdom on how to make connections. I have learned that people of all ages, races, etc. crave connections. It only takes a smile, polite hello, a shoulder to lean on or simply just being with people. I know that through trials God is teaching us something. We just have to stop and ask Him. The main lesson we need to learn is to trust Him and His plans for our lives.

    Blessings 🙂
