  1. Oh… I forget about Ruth’s connection with Bethlehem and I think those of us who have not experienced widowhood breeze over her bereavement in favor of the romantic connection with Boaz.
God is so good at providing bread in places where we see nary a crumb.

  2. Thank you, Dorina, for sharing your beautiful story of redemption! May the life-altering year of 2020 cause many people to travel their own “Path to Bethlehem” and find redemption through Jesus Christ as they journey through this unique Christmas season.

  3. I will be keenly anticipating these articles. This one was excellent and thanks for sharing.

  4. Thank you Dorina for sharing your beautiful story of redemption and hope. This year has been a difficult year for many reasons for all of us but I know God will redeem this year. I look at the ashes of my life and ask God regularly is he sure he really called me to greatness? Then, I see reminders and Heavenly winks that confirm my calling. My heart needed this encouragement and thank you for directing us back to God. May God bless you and your family. I am so glad God has called you for such a time as this.

  5. Dorina,

I loved, loved, loved your post. I’ve always enjoyed the story of Ruth, and I wondered about your story regarding how you met Shawn. Thank you for sharing this. God works in amazing ways. I like to say He winks when we least expect it. Yours is truly an amazing love story. To God be the glory!

  6. Dorina,

I love the story of Ruth. How she clings to her MIL & wants to help her in the midst of her own sorrow. I can so relate to that. Few years ago I was dealing with aging parent medical issues. A friend was dealing with it also but times 3 (mom, dad & stepdad). One day after visiting dad at rehab I decided to get lunch for her & her hubby. Wanted her to feel loved by God just like Ruth did for Naomi. Even in troubled times I so want the world to see God’s abundance of love. It’s easy to forget about God in the midst of our sorrow & trials. Our country needs to step toward Bethlehem & God’s abundance. This advent I will take many steps toward Bethlehem, the stable & trough that beheld our baby Jesus.

    Blessings 🙂
