  1. I’ve always thought John 3:16 should be printed “For God so loved the world, He GAVE His only begotten Son. That whoever believes in Him shall not perish but be given (have) eternal life.” Enjoy the gift, absolutely but emphasize The Giver! What a great assignment for this Sabbath day & every day!

  2. One of my favorite verses is James 1:17
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
    Another verse, Ephesians 5:10
GIVING THANKS, ALWAYS FOR ALL THINGS, unto God and the Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Everything we see, touch, taste, hear and feel is from God! Every breath we breath is a gift from God! Oh, that all the world, could breath out in thanksgiving, that God, is the Giver, THE ONLY GIVER! Praise His Holy Name and give Him the glory for all!

  3. In Courage,

I always remember the giver. Back in 2019 I was let go from a part time job I didn’t like. Sure was happy as I knew God had bigger things in store for me. Two weeks later He put me in a part-time ICU Step down Clerical position at large hospital. Then Dec. 2021 He moved me to an ICU Covid unit. From there I went full-time benefitted. God is so good He was with me all the way. He has plans for me far bigger than I can imagine. That ICU job has changed drastically & I don’t like it, but hanging onto Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you” declares the Lord. “Plans to prosper you & not for harm. To give you a hope & a future.” Somehow some way He will put me where I need to be. Never have I forgotten the gift giver Lord Jesus Christ!!

    Blessings 🙂

  4. Good reminder. We have to remember God the giver who gave us the gift of his life by going to Calvary for us all. As someone here today as said doing what John 3 v 16 says “For God So Loved The World He Have His Only Begotten Son” how true that is. As the kids songs also says that is appropriate for us Adult too. “Jesus Loves Us This I Know For The Bible Tell Us So” That is true also. Love Dawn Ferguson-Little xx

  5. Gratitude in the heart keeps our focus on the Giver as opposed to magnifying the gift. Thank you for reminding us to always be grateful.
