  1. Even if you do verbalize your love to others there is just something about a written word of love. Writing love letters with a smile & cast iron skillet is weighty too. Yet a non bill in the mail is becoming a lost art. Let’s not lose ‘another bean in the pot” for guests, the welcoming smile or the card asserting each other’s worth! They each touch hearts the way Jesus calls us to love one another. Blessings! (((0)))

  2. Hit home for me. Reminder to not forget to tell those we love how we feel about them. We may not realize how much difference it can make.

  3. I love this, so much! My grandfather was a preacher and it reminded me of my grandparents. Thank you so much for sharing.

  4. Written words also have the advantage of being read and reread. (You don’t have to rely on an inconsistent memory like mine!) Thank you for reminding me to write words of love to those I cherish!

  5. Dawn,

There are many ways to say I love you. The best by far is a hand written note or card expressing your friendship or love. We seem to get so busy with life that most don’t take the time for hand writing notes. Sure you can call or text others. Nothing says love to me, at least, than a hand written card or note. I can keep it for years to come. Love the message your grandmother wrote. It speaks volumes to me.

    Blessings 🙂
