  1. Amen! Satan lies that Christianity does not respect women. A big bah humbug to that lie! Merry CHRISTmas, daughters & sons! (((0)))

  2. Thank you for sharing the stories of the women listed in the lineage of Jesus. I have heard Matthew 1 : 1-17 read many times over the years, but your bringing to light the story of those four women (and I don’t know if I ever even gave it a thought that there were only four women listed in that lineage) hit home the truth God sees value in each one of us. His love and forgiveness is for each one of us. God has a purpose for each one of us. There have been times in my life when I, too, would have thought about hiding if Jesus were to walk in the room. I know that I no longer need to hide anything, God already knows everything and loves me just the same. How blessed are we who know that we are loved by the Father unconditionally. I pray that I can give that same unconditional love to my family, friends, and all those I meet. Jesus calls us to love one another as He has loved us. Our world needs to hear this message over and over…….Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me!

  3. Bathsheba was also in the lineage of Jesus. She isn’t mentioned by name, but as “the wife of Uriah”.

  4. God gave us the best presents of all his son Jesus coming into the world to show us how to live born of Mary in a humble stable no fancy palace just a humble stable with farm animals. Then having his son Jesus going and dying on Calvary for us because he love us. No better presents could he us. We can go on to follow Jesus footsteps and live as he lived when he was on earth. With loving kindness. Loving people of all walks of life. That starts with us that are saved. Like the kids songs say “Jesus hands where kinds hand doing good to all healing pain and sickness” another one “Jesus Loves All The Children Of The World Red And Yellow Black And White” two very true songs. We are do the same as both songs especially if a child of Jesus. Love today’s reading. Love Dawn Ferguson-Little Enniskillen Co.Fermanagh N.Ireland. Xx keeping you all in prayer.

  5. I really appreciated your words today. We are made in the image of God, and He wants to be our Savior.

  6. In Courage,

“God doesn’t call the qualified. He qualifies the called.” God uses the most unlikely people to accomplish His objectives. Think about the Samaritan woman at the well. She went & told the whole country & many got saved. Don’t think Jesus can’t use you or won’t love you due to your past. He knew you before you were born. He has plans for you. If Jesus were to walk in my house right now I would fall at His feet worship Him.

    Blessings 🙂
