  1. As I practiced & timed a speech I’d written on finding Joy in Suffering I just knew it’s not quite what it needs to be so I went to bed knowing I’d be beginning again this morning. What a perfectly timed article, Rachel! His mercies are new Everytime & Anytime I need them! That fact lifts the dread of rewriting my speech! Thank you for sharing! Thankful you can see the sparkles, sense God’s presence & not be so distracted to wreck your car! ;~) Blessings! (((0)))

  2. Rachel. Your words always meet me like a dear friend. Always so timely. Mornings have been a struggle this past week. I’m grateful for the reminder that each new day mercies greet me, whether I’m hopping out of bed or needing to move a bit more slowly. New mercies meet me there too. Thanks for your words. Be blessed!

  3. Dear Rachel.. I do love to see devotions that you shared as I am going through the book 100 Days of Strength in any Struggle for the second time and you have many stories in that book. The first time I went through it was almost 2 years ago and still I am going through many dark days that have now been for 7 years. The verse that you gave us is just what I need to help me. I had forgotten in my overwhelmed and confused mind that we do get Mercies are there as we awake every day. That somehow had escaped my mind, but because you have written your wise words to us today, I am writing this on a post-it and putting it right on my computer so that I look at it every time I am there. I am on Day 82 of the book and it is very interesting how different what I wrote then as to what I am writing now. This has uplifting my spirits as it shows that my “Spiritual growth” has increased considerably. So I will get up in the morning pain and all and tell God that I know it will be a good day no matter what happens to me. Thanks Rachel and I wish you a Blessed weekend and I send my love to you as I feel like you are my friend even though I live alone. The sun is shining bright today after almost 2 weeks of gloomy, no sun days. That did not help our feelings or emotions during our long Winter Season. Thanks again………….Betsy Basile

  4. Hello Rachel
Love all you have wrote in your devotional for today. God is good all the time and all the time God is good. How true that is. Like it says in the Bible God is the all see eye that watches us and takes care of us every day. As Psalm 34:15 says ” The eyes of the Lord are on thr righteous and his ears are open to their cry” and 2 Chro16:9 ” God’s eyes roaming the earth to strengthen the loyal” These verses are so true God is watching us taking care of us. Like a Father or Mother take care of their kids watching them God does the same for us watching us in his love. So God meet and us care for us everyday day. Psalm 118: 24 says “This is the day the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad in it” Psalm 150:6 says ” Let everything that has breath praise the Lord praise the Lord” those verses say it all that each day is the Lord’s as he made it. So we are to be glad in it and like the other verse let us thank God for the breath to praise him. All we have to do is also pray to know God each day God carries us in happy sad and difficult times. His love is with us like the kids song says “Jesus loves me this I know for the Bible tells me so” how true that is. Love Dawn Ferguson-Little Enniskillen Co.Fermanagh N.Ireland xx
