About the Author
At (in)courage, we empower women to be like Jesus. Our writers share what’s going on in their life and how God’s right in the middle of it. They bring their joys & struggles so that you can feel less alone and be empowered by the hope Jesus gives.

On friday it was my birthday and as I was thinking of all that is coming and all that has to be done and changed for the next year I felt overwhelmed and impossible to fullfill all people want me to do. I was even crying shortly and then during the day the lord gave me so many little reminders of his grace and loving help. Its so amazing- his comfort and help. This picture helped again so much and the verse is beautiful. In every situation: stand still, lean back and look in wonder how god will bring everything in place! I love reading here and in my bible, it has always a calming effect on my heart. And yes- incourageme has become part of my daily life. Thank you for all your work and time you invest! Eternity will show how much worth your effort to encourage us all was.

mmm … You’ve captured one of my favorite verses and enfolded it together with the ultimate peace-filled place. There’s absolutely nothing like an off-season beach where you can walk for hours without spying a single soul.
Today I’m sharing one of my favorite women, the radiant bride. If ever there was a soul who lives out Psalm 46:10, she’s the one!

A blessed autumn day, to you, my incourage sisters!

Have read the scripture and looked at the image and my heart leaped a bit as my newest friend visiting from Australia will be leaving in less than a week. The image reminded me that we CAN BE worlds apart and still be together in friendship/kinship…no matter the geography. Each wave upon the sand brings waters from a world away and it shifts the sands as well. God, in His infinite wisdom and creativity has manifested so many signs of seeds of FAITH. To believe in God……keeps us close to all that we love and all that we desire…for in Him is our heart’s content. Our relationships only need reflect this reality and be a reminder to others. Our faith seeds spread His glory and wisdom beyond the shores and where they take root, if they take root….we know not. Faith is believing and I do believe. The All Sufficient God will take care of the rest.

Am always soooo blessed by the postings of incourage women of a mighty God. How important we are to one another, like He planned it that why. Take time to lift your voices in praise.

In true courage, in the weakness of our human frailty, Christ comes through, MESSIAH.
HE is in control of all. Though our facets may be weak and frail and undone. HE is complete in us. HE speaks. HE reveals HIMSELF in these times. We just have to sit and be still and then we will know that HE is God and how useless we really are in the midst of things. The LORD spoke about death last night. And this is what it is like. When we are totally unable to function. HE is more than able to function. Life after death. Eternity. JESUS spoke about this in my frailty. Amazing. Thank YOU LORD for YOUR teaching. I had almost forgotten about this.

Be Still! That is often times hard for me. Oh I can sit & not do anything, but my mind wanders to a million things to do to be ready for the week.
Love the picture of the beach with no one there. That would be my ideal vacation–away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Thanks for the reminder!
