I love Deidra days at (In)Courage! 🙂
And I loved this post. Wow, you know how to work a metaphor so beautifully.
This post reminds me of a Scripture passage I’m learning:
“This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence, whenever our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.” 1 John 3:19-20
Thank you for this!
Whew!
This was a good way to start my day. So awesome. So beautifully written.
Thanks for pointing out that “trudging” isn’t what He wants for us. Not at all.
Blessings,
Kate 🙂

I haven’t checked out this site in a long time, and this morning I have been wallowing. Feeling lost. And broken. And meaningless. I know the Spirit led me to this post. Thank you for sharing it.
Yes so beautifully written that I enjoyed every word for its own sake!
But you do share so freely in writing. You may not realize how generously you share and encourage in your honesty and vulnerability, for which I say, “Thank you!”
