  1. That’s a lovely wallpaper! If I didn’t share a computer with my husband, I’d put it up right now. 🙂
I love that God’s Word and Spirit provides the answer to the question of why we are here. How wonderful to know the answer (even though it’s still full of so much mystery) instead of having to flounder.

  2. I already uploaded your wallpaper to my laptop, and it is beautiful, thanks for sharing this beautiful picture, and I had a Thomas Kinkade wallpaper, so I really have to like it to remove one of his paintings from my laptop!
I am so glad that because of God, I know I am “here” because He created me, made me unique, and has a plan and purpose for my life, and I hope my life does glorify Him!

  3. Why am I here? This is a question that a child starts to ask around the ripe age of 7-8 years old!! Having a parent who knows THE RIGHT answer, saves that child years of searching for their purpose!! I have a Mom who knew and she would tell us everyday…we were children of God, we belonged to HIM and HE would never leave us!
So I am here to tell my children the same message, to lead them HOME and to teach them to glorify GOD!!
    Thanks!

  4. Thanks for the wallpaper. It’s lovely!
I just finished reading Velvet Elvis by Rob Bell. I’ve been pondering this statement shared in that book: “Your job is the relentless pursuit of who God has made you to be…”

  5. First of all, the calendar is beautiful and I’ve already downloaded it to my desktop.
Secondly, the question is making me take stock of myself and understanding once again, that I’m not fulfilling what I believe the Lord has created me for: being a loving mom and caretaker of my home. At my age you’d think I’d get it by now and have it incorporated into my being, but alas, that is NOT the case. Thank you for the opportunity to reflect on this important question.

  6. Thank-you for the beautiful wallpaper and the message that goes along with it. Touched my heart in a deep and special way.
    Blessings to you.

  7. thank you for sharing both
the wallpaper ~ which I will thoroughly enjoy all month
and the post ~ which I will enjoy pondering… with an empty nest and living far from family I do wonder that question often.
    I so love your answer!

  8. What a beautiful, thoughtful gift, and a wonderful way to remind us all of our greater purpose! Thank you! 🙂

  9. Gorgeous design. Just put it on my home computer, and gonna add it on my work computer tomorrow too, and put a link on my blog to share it! Thanks 🙂

  10. To bring God glory. To live for Him, serve Him, praise Him in all things. To point others to Him not only with my words but with my life.

  11. Put the wallpaper up immediately!! No second thoughts – perfect and lovely!
Thank you so much for our “reason for being”. It’s easy to forget in this hard world and to slip into focusing on our stuff and our stuff alone. Perilous place! But He’s so faithful to pull us back if we turn our eyes and this will be a good reminder 🙂

  12. This is something God’s been stressing to me lately! John 15:8..we’re to bear fruit so that God will be glorified!
And thanks for the wallpaper!! I couldn’t wait to get to work this morning and change it on my work computer! 🙂

  13. I absolutely needed this today and I need this reminder for the next 8 weeks of crazy that will be my schedule… but that does not have to characterize my life. This gift will help keep me grounded… THANK YOU.

  14. I too had that question, but how do I glorify God in my life and when my children were little they kept me so busy either singing them to sleep how much Jesus loves them and reading to them about the Lord or helping them when they were sick, hospitals, doctors office or cleaning up the mess or later driving them to school just so they wouldn’t have to ride the hot bus or running to the school because they forgot something important and their dad and I taking them to church and vbs and teaching sunday school class and those teachable moments about God that come up during those teenage years. family time and by the way, would you please pray for my young son Jonathan Hall who sits in prison waiting for parole. He chose to take drugs and was with someone who printed a 10.00 bill and broke probation.so his sentence was 3 yrs with hopefully parole in about8 months. He received christ and became a christian at 8 years old. He is reading a bible and praying and is sorry for all those terrible choices that got him there. please pray for him. We love him and want to see him give glory to God in his life. We know God has a plan for him and that HE loves jonathan and would never leave him or forsake him. please pray. Thank you Bob and Brenda Hall

  17. Is there a way to edit your fantastic wallpaper to use a calendar for other months, or if not just to leave the calendar off? I enjoyed it sooo much. A wonderful reminder every time I sit at the computer. God bless you!
