  1. Honestly – one of the best posts I’ve EVER read! Such powerful truth – straight from His word to our hearts/minds. Many thanks for sharing such an incredible message of all that God has done/will do/and is yet to do!

  2. So needed this. I want “victory” in my life and I love to “praise” Him, so why is this so hard to do. Help me Lord Jesus. Thank you for sharing this.

  3. Standing still? That is so tough for me, but you are right. . .sometimes the answer isn’t to fight the battle, but it is to step back and see what God is working out for us!

  4. Yes…the battle is His the victory is ours! This is so very timely as I am in the midst of a spiritual and emotional battle that threatens to rob me of joy and peace. God has me in the “defense” Psalms, whereby David has to stand against enemies great. Those readings and this post reminds me yet again that He is in Sovereign control. My job is just to praise and worship Him.

  5. Thank you. Just this afternoon — before reading this — I had a friend tell me to “stand still and wait on God.” How hard that is!! Then I opened up my email and read this. THANK YOU!! It is just what I needed to “hear.”

  6. I love your ending here: “And God will fight for us, and will win. The victory may not be what we expect or even want. But when we stop fighting, and start trusting and praising, God will be free to do His work in our lives.” It’s such a simple answer and both easy and hard to do at the same time!

  7. Thank you so much, everyone, for your kind words! I find myself needing to re-learn this lesson over and over and over again! I think we all need reminders of God’s truth from time to time.
