Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

After dealing with past trauma again for the past year, and some other issues that came on my path, I was diagnosed with distress and depression this week. I have been in therapy for many years and now this again. I was trying to fight my way through this, hoping to avoid this but in the end I just got really tired of fighting and life itself. Everything is always been hard for me, so I’m just exhausted. I have no strong or loving family ties so it’s just me. I have been trying to get connected in church but there is no close friend just yet. So please pray whatever comes to mind. You could pray that I am not going any deeper. You can pray for God to give me a best friend who I can share and love with. I am also still praying for my husband to come along, I know he won’t fix things but I do think it will make things easier, to have love for the first time seems like an amazing thing. On top of things I have to travel for work next week, my therapist and I decided not to cancel but I am a little scared to go. Hoping things won’t get worse. Thank you so much for praying, I so need it!

MCH- Your need cries out and touches a familiar place in my heart. Having been in that forlorn spot, I know that it is not always easy to find the energy to seek other resources of help. You have made a good start in going to church. Is there a pastor/ counselor there that could assist? Some churches have special support systems…many are called Stephen ministry. Also, check out your local NAMI group, for support. They are invaluable. I will pray for you.
Zoe says
MCH – I hope you don’t mind me writing, but I wanted to tell you that I will pray for you, my sister in Christ. Life can be so lonely at times, and the Lord seem so distant, especially with the darkness looming. I have been struggling with that too, this last few weeks, though my darkness is shame rather than depression. He showed me that He is light, and there is NO darkness in Him. And we are in Him, and He is in us – so there is no darkness in us either. Darkness may surround us, but He is light – my prayer is that we both keep our eyes on the Light. I will pray that He brings someone special along to be your friend, and if you want to contact me, please do so – I have a poetry blog that might be the easiest way – http://zoe-moonlightandshadows.blogspot.com.
Cee is right – going to church is an excellent start, and one that can be such a difficult first step when you already feel isolated. I’m so excited that you are persevering there! The Lord will bring you the right words, the right people – He wants to see you healed and restore your joy.

It is not a coincidence that I am the one who followed you next in the prayer request line. IT IS GOD! I have said the same words before many, many times before. I came from an abusive childhood, and it was evident even as a child that I had inherited severe clinical depression and ADD. The Panic/Anxiety disorder did not show up until my teens. The PTSD came later with other trauma. I could write a long list of things that should have killed me. I say all this not to exhibit pity, but TO SHOW POWER! I asked the Lord to give me strength as I ask for you as well. RECEIVE IT IN FAITH. That said. I went as a young teen to healing meetings and felt rejected by God in not being healed. I for personal reasons did not want to take antidepressants. I will spare you the twisted tale of where that got me to say this TAKING MEDICATION EVEN IF JUST FOR 6 MONTHS IS CRUCIAL! I like many people with such issues of course went into the field of Psychology. I am assuming that you are taking something. Trauma, stress, death of a loved one or many things can cause the neurotransmitters to need a jump start. (for a short time in most cases) I am sorry if this is all something you know. However, for your benefit if not or in case anyone else reads this it needs to be stated. God chose to heal me with medicine not miracle. I have had it suggested by men I dated in the Church to just pray and cease medication. I say sure as soon as you get strep throat and we only pray. A diabetic can be positive , think sweet thoughts and pray all day and UNLESS THE LORD DECIDES TO INTERVENE THEIR PANCREAS WILL STILL NOT MAKE INSULIN. Sorry I did not mean to write a diatribe in a prayer reply or request. Just trying to spread the word lol. ANTIDEPRESSANTS can save someones life and also for the first time show someone what life is suppose to feel like, =) I DO KNOW HOW YOU FEEL. I remember my friend died of CF when I was 17 and in planning to kill myself I told the Lord just as my friends body was too weak and exhausted to go on one breath more, I WAS JUST AS EXHAUSTED AND DESTROYED. I FELT IT PHYSICALLY, EMOTIONALLY & IN MY SPIRIT. HOWEVER GOD PUT LIL ANGELS AND MANY BIG MIRACLES IN MY LIFE! I DID SURVIVE & YOU WILL TOO. I am almost 40 and never married. I am asking for prayer in breaking a trauma bond. I have to remember Jesus as trite as it sounds in my best friend, Husband, Mother, Father, my everything . I know many people who are more alone in a marriage than any single person could feel. The grass is always greener. You sound like you may be like me and it is really a lack of love for ourselves that WILL MAKE US WHOLE. (stinks low self esteem is a bi product depression, ADD not to mention trauma and abuse) The one thing that always works as silly as I feel MAKE A LIST OF AFFIRMATIONS 10 to start and 10 verses of who you are in Christ and say them out loud in the mirror. You have to or I have to be whole before I can be with my mate. God has your mate and mine. I only make my wait longer in not doing what I know to do. What I’ve learned along the way is this. Just like a cancer patient does not like chemo, and yet they do it to live . I have to do what God has shown me at times in order to live. I suggest get involved in as many groups as you can… a grief group at a Church, or even better a group of women who share if not similar trauma experiences then there are groups for people with depression. I found various 12 step groups (many are Christian based) were great. The reason is you get a sponsor or I had to at a new Church call my brand new small group leader and be open and it worked . The thing I needed was someone who would not let me isolate and find a reason why I should not do the one think that works GET OUT OF THE HOUSE AND MY HEAD. If you volunteer ( AS MUCH AS I THOUGHT THERE IS NO WAY I CAN ) it will help. Assuming my medication was starting to get into my blood stream I found I HAVE TO ALWAYS WRITE 10 THINGS IN A GRATITUDE JOURNAL EVERY MORNING! I watched a lot of Joel Olsteen . I am retraining my brain even now on negative thinking. Which Joyce Myer has a free (almost) cd set on) ok well sorry I have rambled on and if none of this helps my prayers and others here will! Hang in there the feelings are only temporary. Email me if you want a list of materials or resources. YOU ARE NEVER ALONE SISTER ! YOU HAVE MUCH TO WRITE ON THAT GRATITUDE LIST: JOB, INSURANCE, COUNSELOR, AND THE HUSBAND GOD IS JUST ABOUT DONE PREPARING!!! BELIEVE IT!
MCH says
Hi J,
Thanks for writing all that. I have actually decided not to go on medication just yet. I have in the past and yes, it can help for a season but on the other hand it’s soooo hard to get of off. Another reason is that I am in therapy and the process is really important, I am working through some things, things that require my emotions to be present and my mind to be clear. So as long as it doesn’t get any heavier, I will try it this way. I hope you get where I am coming from.
Love, MCH

I know that feeling of desperation, panic and depression all too well. I had talked to my pastor about taking medication; if that meant I lack faith. He told me to take the medicine, that God is not judging me. I have had to depend on Jesus and the Psalms many times in my life. I remember during panic times that He is with me and loves me. I sometimes pace and cry out to God. It gets better. Stay in prayer, talk to your pastor. He’ll know someone you can share your concerns with. I think of Paul and the thorn in his side, the pain from some illness he chose not to identify in his works and his thought that “My grace is sufficient to thee”. Remember, we have an illness that is not our choice so there should be no self blame. Remember how much God loves you and that He walks with you every step of the way. I am praying for you and I love you. You have more strength than you know because you are a child of Christ and can do all things through Him.

Dear MCH, I am praying hard for you. I came out of a downward spiral about 2 years ago and felt totally alone on the planet. When I didn’t want to fight anymore and wanted to let go into a freefall, someone at church told me to just let go and fall into the arms of God. It was the most frightening thing I’ve ever done, giving up the little control I thought I still had in my life. And guess what? He caught me, sheltered me in his arms and eventually raised me up again when I was emotionally healed. I feel your aloneness, I know this place. But I want to offer you comfort that there is a reason you can’t yet see that God is drawing you to Him, to grow and prosper you. I hope you will find shelter in Him today and all days, sweet Sister. You are important and your life has purpose. Just watch what God is readying to do in your life.

MCH – Walking the same walk you are right now. My life is not horrible or in crisis at all but depression/anxiety can make life feel like you’re living in a box sometimes. Just remember that God claimed you as His own per Isaiah 43:1-3 and He is right beside you – in spite of the darkness we feel. The hardest part of having faith is when things look dark and lonely and especially when you don’t have someone close to you to confide in and not be judged or preached at…quoting Gods Word has the perfect time, but in many circumstances all we want is to be validated in our confused feelings…not made to feel quilty or worse because we are “supposed” to be joyful. Just be very careful to not fall into feeling like a victim of depression…fight back like you would if someone was trying to grab your purse…fighting back can be hard but giving in only makes depression worse. I will be praying for you…to find a friend, to find a spouse and to find joy in life. 🙂

May God bless and keep you and supply ALL of your needs according to His riches in glory. He is an ever present help, even when He seems far away. I pray blessings and healing on your life. As a therapist, I know the importance of a good therapist and have seen many people in therapy for years with the wrong therapist. Given your trauma history, I would strongly suggest an EMDR therapist. THe work they do is amazing! God bless you. Remember He is working all things together for your good.
MCH says
Hi Kiki,
I am reading all this back for some encouragement. The love I received is overwhelming. I didn’t realize how many responded to my words. How wonderful. I am pray8ing God will really let me feel all this. It’s hard to feel nowadays. But I wanted to get back to you. I am actually very familiar with EMDR. It’s great therapy. Thanks for the suggestion.
Love, MCH

I, too have dealt with depression and still do. I know how isolating depression can be. You are making great connections with your church. God will bring someone to you that can identify with your needs there. It really is the best place to turn. You are also seeing a therapist, which I did for a year or so. It was helpful. I will be praying that your trip will go well. May God lift you up and give you the courage to go through with the trip; May he wrap you in a garment of praise, instead of a spirit of despair. I have been where you are………know that many are praying for you, and that God is very near and will never leave you.

I would be very grateful for your prayers too – my whole family seems to be under attack at the moment. I have a friend that I want to talk to about the anger issues she has and the way she takes those out on her children, and I feel so weak to do that at the moment. My son is struggling dreadfully with self worth, my daughter has to change classes at school because of a serious dispute (that I can’t seem to resolve) with her teacher, and that dispute has pushed a lot of old wounds, and brought up a whole swathe of lies about my own self worth (which she attacks frequently). I am struggling to hold on to the Truth, to trust the Lord and to not run and hide my real self from those around me. I came here looking for some encouragement and found this offer of prayer – so perhaps the Lord is telling me to reach out and ask for prayer, rather than run and hide. Thank you so much for your prayers.
J says
Please Zoe I pray you imagine many children and adults being cut down and beaten and know that this intervention can save them from the generational curse and pain that abusive anger causes. CHRIST WILL GIVE YOU THE WORDS AND COURAGE FOR THE CONFRONTATION OF THE BEHAVIOR, NOT THE WOMAN, YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE. You might be the loving soul that helps her find the peace she needs by going with her to meet support. It may not happen that day, but daily prayer and continued love can change hearts. If you say nothing then you allow it as an acceptable example and practice. I know that you do not, and the Devil does too. He has already been defeated, and you are now blameless! You are a ROYAL HEIR TO THE THRONE OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD! Who can come against you with your KING??
Zoe says
J – thank you so much! For your words and prayers. I do know that I have to speak for that very reason – I actually wonder if the main reason for all the other things right now is from the enemy, who wants to stop me speaking out for those kids and for her. I cannot stand abuse, and I cannot idly stand by and do nothing, but I love her, despite what she is doing, and I fear for the reasons behind it, and I desperately want to help her get the help she needs, not push her away from that help. I needed the reminder that the Lord wants this to stop too, and that He is our AMAZING King. Thank you!

Also I added my struggle with Trauma Bonds that stem from abuse and God alone can get what is ingrained out , but it is a battle. I speak God’s truths, but people are drawn to what you are use to and feel comfortable in. I thought I had broken free, but trauma set me back. HOWEVER WE ALL have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves;8 we are pressed on every side, yet not straitened; perplexed, yet not unto despair;9 pursued, yet not forsaken; smitten down, yet not destroyed;10 always bearing about in the body the dying of Jesus, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our body.11 For we who live are always delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our mortal flesh.12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you.13 But having the same spirit of faith, according to that which is written, I believed, and therefore did I speak; we also believe, and therefore also we speak;14 knowing that he that raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also with Jesus, and shall present us with you.15 For all things are for your sakes, that the grace, being multiplied through the many, may cause the thanksgiving to abound unto the glory of God.16 Wherefore we faint not; but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day.17 For our light affliction, which is for the moment, worketh for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory;18 while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Zoe, I will be praying for you and the things your family is dealing with right now. I pray that God gives you the strength you need, and that you would hold on to His truth that He is always with you. I also pray for protecting for the enemy, who is trying to get your focus off God.
I would appreciate prayers for the anxiety I am feeling in my life right now. There have been life changes that have made me feel like my load is overflowing, and I am struggling to keep it all together for my family. I am trying to be a wife, mom, and financial provider, and for the first time in my life, I am feeling like there isn’t much left of me. Praying that God would restore my strength, or direct me in the way He needs me to go, so that I may be the whole person He wants me to be.
Zoe says
Jody, I am praying for you too – that feeling of the dam about to break is awful, I know. I pray that the Lord will be your Rock and Fortress, that He will not give you more than you can endure with Him, but more than that, that He will lift you up on wings of eagles, that you may run and not be weary. Brightest of blessings to you!

Jody, I will be more than happy to pray for you with dealing with your anxiety issues.
A dear commenter recently wrote these words that touched my heart:
“Unexpected events are God’s way to say He is in Control and if we have faith and trust in him, we just have to let go.”
— Marie@The Colour of Our Skin
Easier said than done for sure, but keep the faith. He IS in control.
And speaking of easier said than done…. My request is both for physical and emotional healing. These past two years of injury & disease have taken such a toll on me physically that I haven’t fully — or even marginally — addressed the emotional aspects. That neglect is starting to show in a way that is very, very difficult.
I covet your prayers. While the chances of physical healing don’t look to be overly promising, now seems the time to take care of the inside of me.
Thank you.

Praying for your healing Shari. Sickness definitely is emotionally draining. I pray that God heals your mind, gives you time to focus on yourself, and heals you physically even if the physical healing must be supernatural.

There is a lot going on in my life right now, so I’m goin to keep this to just the biggest things I need prayer for…
God broke me last night at church (I don’t have a car so I end up going to church on Saturday nights when I can get a ride…and then double up with another church that I can get to on my own for a Sunday School experience). He really showed me how much I’d been letting fear drive my life. I have a TON of fear surrounding anything remotely social. I haven’t officially been told that I have social anxiety disorder, but I am 99% sure that I do. I know God does not approve of fear and with him I don’t need to be afraid, but I feel like as hard a I try not to be anxious that it just makes the fear worse. I would really appreciate prayer that God would remove my fear because I can’t do it myself.
Also, I am a college student, and I was supposed to get my schedule for next semester approved the first week of October. Unfortunately my schedule has been approved and then they changed their minds and then changed them back, and currently my schedule is not approved and it is almost time to register, and I NEED to be able to register as soon as it opens, because registering at my school is a race so whoever can type fastest gets the classes they want. It is also important that I get the schedule that I want because if I don’t then I will end up in school an extra year most likely fitting the rest of my classes in.
Stacey says
Lord, I pray that you would life VA up out of the anxiety and fear of finding friendships, and socializing. Send people to her Lord that will help fill that void, help her to find strength in you in those times of social anxiety!
and Lord, according to YOUR will, I pray that all of VA’a scheduling kinks would smooth out. Lord, help her to get the schedule that you would want her to have, soften the hearts of those approve and deny schedule requests, so that she may continue on with her education!
VA, I feel as though it is your desire to change your schedule, and God can most definitely change the hearts if those that approve it…I feel as if I should also say to you not to become discouraged if it doesn’t happen for some reason. God will place you right where he wants you, and even if it means another year in school….it will be His will, so seek Him through it!
In Christ~

Please continue and know that everyone in this community continues to be in my prayers as we live our lives.

J & MCH, you are both in my thoughts and prayers. I know the pain of hurt and the emptiness of be alone. I’m a divorced mom of 2. I pray and pray often for God to bring someone fantastic into my life, BUT that HE the Lord of Lords would be everything that I imagine needing a husband for. I pray for the both of you to receive the things that you need from a husband from HIM. Rely on HIM, trust in HIM, Believe in HIM.
Also, know that Satan is powerful and comes in many forms. Satan comes to seek and destroy and looks for the smallest crack to seep into our hearts, our minds and our souls to do damage. Satan will destroy any part he can, our self esteem, our worries, our minds, and even our bodies if we allow him too. So prepare yourselves. I pray that God would seal each and every crack in your armor and that Satan would not be able to seep in and gain a strong hold.
MCH, I will pray for you and your travels next week. I pray that as you take each step that God would put people in your path that will be an encouragement and a help to you. I pray that you would find rest and peace. I pray that your work load would not be overwhelming. I pray for your safety.
I pray healing for the both of you. Many prayers!

I ask any and all of you ladies to lift my 12 yr old boy up in prayer this morning!
He has been struggling with depression for about a year now, Friday night he reached a point of such despair that he attempted to end his life. He is medically fine, but remains in the hospital!
I have struggled with depression and anxiety for years, but always felt as if it made sense because of my horrible childhood. My son on the other hand has had a pretty nice childhood, so it has been very hard for me to grasp this in him. But depression is real, and it isn’t prejudice….it will plant it’s nasty self in anyone!!!
I know that I know that God is going to bring him through this, and use it all for his glory, and use my son in a mighty way for His name!!!
But at the same time…I am empty in this house (with 5 other boys) without him. Please continue to pray that God will continue to carry him through this trial, and that he will stay fixed on Him!

This prayer has been a blessing to me many times, and I hope it will be to you as well.
MORNING PRAYER
O God, early in the morning I cry to you.
Help me to pray
And to concentrate my thoughts on you:
I cannot do this alone.
In me there is darkness,
But with you there is light;
I am lonely, but you do not leave me;
I am feeble in heart, but with you there is help;
I am restless, but with you there is peace.
In me there is bitterness, but with you there is patience;
I do not understand your ways,
But you know the way for me…
Restore me to liberty,
And enable me to live now
That I may answer before you and before me.
Lord, whatever this day may bring,
Your name be praised.

How do you change diapers and cook and do laundry and put the baby in her crib and do so many other things with just one hand? Thanks for your prayers for my shoulder, grace for my husband, bigger kids and mom as they will have to take on lots of extra work and patience for all of us as we make it through the next couple months. Thanks so much. Blessings!

Oh Shana.. I can’t even imagine!
Dear Lord, please bless Shana mightily in the midst of this situation with her shoulder. Give wisdom to the doctors, skill to the surgeons, patience and tenderness to the nurses who will care for her through the process of healing. I pray that you would bestow her family with a special measure of your Grace during this trial. Let Your love and care be so evident during every step of this journey that others would see and marvel and know that your love towards your children is great. I pray that this experience, that the enemy means for evil, would be an avenue of great blessing from You.
And please help everyone involved to keep their sense of humor:)
Amen

I am having a hard time with several things. I need the Lord to show His truth in the hearts of many myself included. I am thankful he has provided for me, but I need many spiritual blessings. Several need protection, provision and purpose. Several need healing. I pray too that God will place others in my path who will continue with me for my progress and joy in the faith. The Lord alone knows the needs. Please join my prayer and cry/ He is so wonderful to heal me and hold me. I have faith he will do great healing in us all and those we lift to him in prayer and with praise!

j~~our Lord reveals Himself(which is Truth) so many ways–His written Word, His Life, through others who walk in that Truth, and mostly when we abandon ourselves to Him. the faith that you speak of will continue to show you the way as you trust, but His ways are not always of our choosing and that is true faith~~ to trust when it is not going the way i wish it would.”yet though He slay me, still i will trust Him'( mr. job).
He not only hears your crys, but holds them tightly within His will for your life. ~~Prayers~~

THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS. I am struggling with this: Presenting Symptoms of Trauma Bonds:
· When you obsess about people who have hurt you and they are long gone
(obsess means to be preoccupied, fantasize about, and wonder about even
though you do not want to)
· When you continue to seek contact with people whom you know will cause
you further pain
· When you go “overboard” to help people who have been destructive to you
· When you continue being a “team” member when obviously things are
becoming destructive
· When you continue attempts to get people to like you who are clearly using
you
· When you trust people again and again who are proven to be unreliable
· When you are unable to retreat from unhealthy relationships
· When you want to be understood by those who clearly do not care
· When you choose to stay in conflict with others when it would cost you
nothing to walk away
· When you persist in trying to convince people there is a problem and they
won’t listen
· When you are loyal to people who have betrayed you
· When you are attracted to untrustworthy people
· When you keep damaging secrets about exploitation or abuse
· When you continue contact with an abuser who acknowledges no
responsibility
Disrupt systemic cycles that occur in the family system that draw upon this
experience for power or that empower the trauma

That I may daily long for, desire, anticipate time in the Word. That is might become a thirsting for me. That I may not push my time with my Savior to the side as the busyness of the holidays come. That I may know Him more and become more like Him.
Diane says
Dear Lord, I pray that You would draw Grace to Yourself. Help her to release herself to You and make Your relationship one of sweet intimacy. I pray that she would be so drawn to spend time with You and in Your word that it becomes the high point of her day. Ease up time in her life and schedule so that it is easy for her to fit in prayer and study time. Bless her for her desire to draw close to You:)

Betty Draper says
Please pray for my husband and I as we make a move from Ky to California sometime in January. After years of living over seas it’s like starting over so finances are a big prayer need. A place to live, newer car as ours is very old and we will be doing a lot of traveling with our ministry.
But all this is not heavy on my heart, my heart is grieved for our son who is not walking with the Lord, getting a divorce, two children involved. Nothing will change unless he gets his heart right.
Diane says
Dear Lord, please bless Betty and her family as they make this move. Please work out all of the details as only You can. I pray that You would show Your mighty hand time and time again. Let this move be an adventure and a time of renewal for Betty and her husband.
I also lift up her son, that You would intervene mightily in his life. That You would draw him to Yourself and compel him to live for You. I pray for these two little children involved, that You would shelter them and care for them and protect their little hearts from hurt and trauma. We trust You Lord Jesus.
Amen
Jenny says
Lord and King, I lift up Colleen to you, your child who is asking for peace. Father, hear her plea, hear her heart. Lord, surround her with your Spirit. Flood over her with peace for this time, capture her heart and her husbands heart. In Jesus’ name.
Colleen I will continue to pray for you.
A dear church friend lost his 15 year old son Monday in a car accident. We went to the memorial service yesterday and so many teenagers were there. This son, brother, friend, cousin, nephew had a wonderful smile that was contagious, not afraid to share the love of Jesus with strangers, and always made sure that no one was left out. He had told his father just 3 weeks ago that he wasn’t afraid of death, because he knew exactly where he was going to be spending eternity. I couldn’t help but think about my own two girls, and how so many parents hope that their children truly understand what it means to be a Christ-follower. This child of the King did. He got it. He understood. Will mine? I think many parents were wondering the same yesterday. So many of us grieve in our own ways. My husband hurts more for our friend. He’ll be going home to an empty house, no longer will the familiar sounds that make his home theirs, be there.
Barbara says
Jenny, I am praying for the family of the 15 year old, especially for the father as he grieves. I am praying for your two girls to that they will definitely understand what it is to be Christ-followers and that they will let you know that so you can rest assured. I think about that with my own daughter who is 20.

Rhonda J. Smith says
Father God, in the name of Jesus, I lift up up Jackie’s husband before you and ask that you will be the God of comfort for him. Father, your Word says that you will meet our every need so I ask that you meet the need for this husband to be comforted, to have peace, to give him a song of praise for his spirit of heaviness, that you help him to reconcile with sister and that he will know that He can get all he needs through you. Help Jackie to be a praying wife, give her wisdom for when to speak and how to speak, help her to be astute for the plans you have for her husband and their marriage and how to carry them out. Help Jackie to be mighty intercessor, in the name of Jesus. Nothing is too hard for you so we look to you and count on you this day and forever, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Be encouraged, Jackie. God promises to never leave us or forget about us.
Diane says
Oh Jenny.. what a heartbreaking situation…
Dear Lord, I lift up this young and everyone who knew him in this life. I pray solace for his family, that You would comfort them in the perfect way, that only You are capable of. I pray that over the next few days, weeks and years that you would show them evidence that their child’s life was not lived in vain and that You would give them the gift of warm remembrances of the time they had together. Bless them for their faithful parenting. ANd I pray for Jenny’s children and the others who have been touched by this young man’s life and witness… speak to their hearts. Lead them to aspire to a life where they are not afraid of death, and to a life lived for You. Draw them to abandon themselves to You…. and comfort them.
Amen

MCH, I will be praying for you and all the others here. I know what it is like to be alone and have no friends. I’m there right now. The only friend I have is my ex husband who lives in Florida. I have no one here in AZ. I’ve been struggling with so many things. I’m hoping I get the rent and our bills paid. Finances are in a bad way. I can’t even fix my truck but above and beyond that, I need to be pulled out of depressive states of mind that are hurting me spiritually. I’m the only Christian in this house and it is very difficult at times to deal with my son’s issues and his girlfriend’s. My granddaughter is also here every other week and she is the only reason I continue to stay here, otherwise she would never know who God is. I know what it is like to be so overburdened with things as the rest of you are and feeling crushed. If it were not for God, I would have given up long ago. I pray that Christ returns speedily and we can finally all be free from the confines of this corrupt world. I put a sign on my wall that reads “This does exist in Heaven; the Kingdom of God”, meaning all the things we struggle with won’t even exist anymore once our King comes and gets us. It will be finally over.

I would love prayer for provision. I am currently a missionary in Mexico, and this is the 2nd year of my 2-year commitment. The Lord has laid my college town on my heart, and I desperately want to find a job teaching ESOL in the public schools there, but I am scared I won’t be able to find work once I return. Please pray that the Lord would provide the best job for me there and that I would trust His will and make the most of the remaining time that I have here in Chihuahua.
Diane says
Lord I thank you so much for Jessica and the service she has given You during her time as a missionary. Please bless her daily with abundant provision… overflow her life with proof that You are able and that You are willing to undertake for her! Ease her mind and give her peace as she finishes up her time of service… let her “end well.” ANd I pray that you would provide her with the perfect job, one tailor made for her, her heart and her skills. Give her exciting things to look forward to. Lavish her with Your love!
Jessica… go read 2 Corinthians 9:7-11… right now! 🙂
Diane says
I’m a bit embarrassed to ask for prayer on this issue as it seems so small and petty after reading through the deep trials so many of you are walking through… but here goes!
There is a family in my church that I have had so much difficulty with over the years (I don’t want to be any more specific than this….) As time has gone on I have drawn boundaries to protect my children and myself… which has caused tension and hurt feelings. ugh. I so long to have peace and warm feelings towards everyone in my church family, but I honestly don’t know how to resolve this situation… on the one hand I feel the boundaries are needed to protect our family, but on the other hand the boundaries themselves seem to cause hurt and sour feelings. I honestly feel so confused and I really don’t feel that I can talk with anyone in real life about the difficulties as they are all so close to the situation. Thanks so much:)
Rhonda J. Smith says
Father, in the name of Jesus, I lift up Diane to you so that you speak clearly to her how to carry out your will with this family. You know the issues involved in the conflict and you have the perfect remedy for what reconciliaton looks like. We know it’s your great desire for us to be reconciled one to another so I ask that you show Diane how to extend and seek forgiveness, how to gain her brothers and sisters for your sake and for hers and how you will have them to be a shining example for others who refuse to follow after righteousness by way of forgiveness. This I ask in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Diane says
Thank you so much for your prayers Rhonda … and may the Lord bless you in some special way today:)

Jackie, I am lifting you and your husband up in prayer. You for strength and for your husband to find comfort and peace since the loss of his mother. I pray for peace and restoration in his family.
My prayer request is for our daughter Emily. She is 16 and suffers from Lyme’s disease. She has been in pain for over 28 months. She is extremely discouraged. Emily knows the Lord but waiting for the Lord to do His work on His time is unbearable at times for her and she has moments where she prays He will just take her to be with Him. Thank you for praying. I love you.

May God’s spirit fill you with his purpose, that he is working for your good and will grow and prosper you. You are loved, you are important and your life has a purpose that God is revealing.
Kandice says
Diane, I am praying with you for God to direct your path in the next step and that even if the steps you make to protect your family are difficult and others feel hurt that you will feel comfort in knowing that doing what is best is often what is painful and unpopular. I am also praying that He bring someone alongside you who will be a support and a safe place to share your burden and to offer new perspective and a road to restoration. I also want you to know that any suffering on your heart is important to share and important to your sisters in faith and your Father. If it’s it’s on your heart it’s not petty, it’s on the heart of the Lord as well. Thank you for having the courage to share and for giving me the opportunity to pray with you.
Nancy,
I’m also praying with you for your precious daughter. I am praying that your daughter is able to find the power in Him when she feels she has none left. I pray that the Lord will reach out His hand and comfort and heal her and while she waits for His timing that He comfort her and remind her that He has not left her side nor does he turn a deaf ear to her cries. I pray for rest and relief for you all and comfort and healing. Thank you for the opportunity to share the smallest part of the journey with your family.
I’m asking for prayer for my family and in particular for my 12y/o daughter. She is strong and smart and the joy of my life. I just learned that she is also hurting deeply and in trying to find a way to deal with her pain she has experiemented with ‘cutting’. I am confident that I managed to catch it after the first attempt. I am asking for prayers for the perfect counselor to walk us through this and help provide her with a healthy outlet and effective tools for her future. I pray that this will be an opportunity for her to learn deep down that she is absolutely and completely loved and an irreplaceable work of God specially created exactly as she is. Please also pray that I will see the best way to help her now and as we move forward. Also that God will give me a supernatural understanding of what she is saying even when she doesn’t speak it.
Thank you so much
Diane says
Kandice.. thank you so much for praying for me. It means more than I can say:) And please know that I am praying for your sweet girl… my youngest is 12yo and I know how tender their little hearts are at this age. May the Lord bless you, dear.

Kandice..my heart goes out to you and your daughter. I also was a “cutter” when I was young. Unfortunately, I continued this destructive path for 4 years without any help. Thank God you have caught this early and are seeking help.
Dear God, I pray protection over Kandice’s daughter. I pray for wisdom for Kandice to know how to help her daughter. Father, I pray that this little girl would know your love for her and find her worth and value in You. Amen.

My prayer request is for a financial miracle. We have many needs, but no funds. We need a newer, bigger vehicle for our family of 5, especially with winter approaching. We homeschool and need a few more materials for our curriculum and a few more basics to cover the necessities for supplies. My second request is for direction with my writing. God has given me the talent; I want to make sure that I serve Him with this gift.
Thank you in advance. Know that I am praying for you too, sisters. Blessings 🙂

Thank you for your prayers.

Praying for everyone here.
Today I would appreciate the prayer for my Mom. She has been suffering from pain in her back for sometime. A new bone scan that I requested from her doctor showed some sort of mass near her kidney. We will have the ultrasound this week..and see her doctor. With all her other health issues and dementia. I also would appreciate prayer for my Dad who is a wonderful caregiver. But at age 84 is showing signs of stress and fatigue. I pray that their needs are met. As well staying strong enough mentally , physically, and emotionally to help them as the only sibling living near them.
Thank you for the prayers. Praying in behalf of all of you here today!

Kristi, I know this struggle and I lift both you and your husband up in prayer. I pray that you will find comfort in the hands of the great provider and trust fully in Him…that he will guide you and give you discernment in your next steps, and ultimately have his peace daily.
I would ask for prayer for my family as well, as my husband enters his third week of unemployment. I work full time, but he was the primary provider for both our household as well as the household of his sons and ex-wife, who works part-time. The normal stress of unemployment has been compounded by a lot of ugliness from her and her family in the last week. I am so proud of my husband who is walking this road with integrity, strength, and faith, and would cover your prayers through this entire situation.

Praying for you, Kerry, and your mom & dad. I too bounce back & forth from help out my parents & now my sister. My request is my husband goes in Tuesday for an angiogram to check for a blockage. Heart problems don’t run in his family…if he hadn’t listened to his body who know what could’ve happened. He’s only 29 yrs old & I’m so thankful for the doctor using wisdom & not ignoring the warning signs his body was giving off. Please pray for healing in his body & peace of mind. Pray for the doctor & nurses to have wisdom. Pray for me & our 2 daughters for peace. I know God is able, I know he’s already gone before us & he will never leave us. Thank you so much!

I will be praying for you and your family Treva, my family too has dealt with medical issues at a young age with a young child (my husband had cancer, and, thank God, is in remission) it sounds like you have a good, alert medical team.
Please pray for the return of my husband as soon as possible, we have had a family emergency and are without him and he is not working, and I am disabled and my money cannot cover our car payment. My son and I need for my husband to be able to come home and be the man God wants him to be. Thank you.
Treva says
Thank you Michelle! I appreciate the prayers. Yes his doctor seems to have a good head on his shoulders. So thankful to hear the praise report on your husband.
Praying for your husband. Praying that God will surround your family with peace during this time. Praying for blessings to be poured out on your family. I don’t know what the situation is but I’m praying for God to lead and guide your husband and that he will be the spiritual leader in his home that God has called him to be. Just an fyi …if you and your husband hasn’t had the chance to watch the movie “Courageous”, it’s an awesome movie. My husband watched that movie and it touched his heart and changed his life! Keep your head up!

I love this (in)courage post today… Love the idea of everyone connecting with each other and specifically praying for the dear woman who commented ahead os us. Treva, know that I will be praying for your husband from now til Tuesday – and after. You can even email me and let me know how things go. It’s scary when things so out of our control happen… it’s an immediate way to come face to face with our faith and trust in the Lord. Praying for peace for you, wisdom to the doctors, and ultimately his health to be fully restored to your hubby.
My prayer request is that my husband would have peace from the Lord about our finances. Money is tight coming up on the end of the year and fear has crept into his mind. He is normally very strong and to see him so worried has me very sad. I want peace for him from the Lord to know that whatever happens, that even if we don’t have the dollar bills in the bank to cover it, God WILL provide and take care of us just as he always has. Thanks to the sister who prays for God’s provision and peace upon my dear husband and our family. XOXO

Looks like Michelle and myself were typing at the same time, so we both responded to Treva 🙂 Extra prayers never hurt though!
However, Michelle I will be praying for you too! Financial pressures weigh heavy on so many of us and I will ask the Lord to provide that car payment for you! And that your husband (praise the Lord he is in remission, my 3 year old son is too!) can come home and help be your emotional and physical support for you and your family. Hugs to you!!!
Treva says
Thank you Kasey! I appreciate the prayers. I have a peace about everything, I think we are just ready for this procedure to be over with. I’m reminded of that song “While I’m Waiting” by John Waller 🙂
I think finances are one of the main things that seem to plague my husband too. I know that God will supply. Praying for the peace of God to surround your husband and family during this time. Praying that God will supernaturally make a way where there seems to be no way. That he will pour out blessings upon your family and that your husband will choose not to worry, because intimately it’s out of his control. Blessings!

Thank you, Treva! I hope things went well this past week…. XOXO

Kasey,
I will pray for peace for your husband as he worries about financial matters. I pray that he can experience the peace “which transcends all understanding,” as it says in today’s verse. God bless you and your family.
My prayer request seems so small when I look at the problems that others are facing. So, I humbly ask for prayers as I battle with my debilitating anxiety disorder. It’s negatively affecting so many areas of my life. Thank you.
Kasey Krawiec says
Thank you, friend. And no problem is small. Everyone’s load is different at different times and even the “small” ones interfere with our peace and communion with the Lord… so all problems matter to Him 🙂

My friend and I had a misunderstanding awhile back. The Lord laid her on my heart today and out of the blue my friend wrote and asked me if I would pray for her because she lost her job after 16 years of service. So another out of the blue in my email you have the headline ” How Can We Pray For You”? Awesome! Beings I don’t believe in coincidences! Everything happens for a reason and I’m glad you all are here.
The Lord’s ever lasting grace!

I have 2 boys (4 & 2.5). I miscarried a little girl 5 years ago on April 5, 2006. We are trying for #3 & it just seems like God’s timing is not mine….I’ve prayed & prayed & He’s clearly given me scripture to trust/rest in His peace….We’ve been trying for almost a year….I have slowly let go of the “i have to a have a girl” mentality, but I sure would love the Lord to bless us with just one little girl so I can know a glimpse of what it might have been like to have my little girl back in 2006…..I also grew up in an extremely abusive home, so I think there’s a redemption factor as well of having a little girl. Obviously, I will take anything that God would give me….but it just seems like He’s really being slow at delivering on this one. Would you pray that I could find peace while waiting & that He would prepare my heart for whatever comes along when the time is right? Letting go of control is super hard for me….thank you!
Lisa says
Gloria….that is amazing & awesome. God answers me thru inbox/emails/internet often too…. 🙂 Nothing is by chance….blessings that you can minister to your friend during her hard time & that you can rekindle the friendship & heal old wounds.

Lisa,
Dear God,
You hear Lisa’s prayers and feel the longing in her heart. You have a plan for Lisa and her family. You have blessed her with two young boys, but she longs for a little girl. Please help her to feel Your presence and be patient with the plans You have for her. We all have our wants and desires, Lord, but You know best. Please show Lisa that everything is working out according to your plan. Amen

Please pray for our church. We are going through issues with our denomination and it is splitting our church in two. It is so sad. Please help us to love each other, accept our differences and continue to build our church for the kingdom of God, not our own agendas.

May God’s peace and love be with each and every one of you who come before me today. May all you needs be met, and blessings to all.
Stress is wreaking havoc on my fibromyalgia right now, and I have been in severe pain. The stress comes from a neighbor that is unreasonable and resorted to hitting my husband with a baseball bat when my husband tried to talk to him. We are in the process of trying to find a new home but finances are difficult. I’m living in fear and getting depressed.

Lisa-
I, too, wanted a little girl. I have had 3 miscarriages and thought I was miscarrying my third child–another boy! I admit I cried when I found out he was a boy, but of course, I wouldn’t trade him for 100 girls now! If you get the chance, read the book Heaven is for Real. It is a quick read, but I think you will find it so reassuring. You may not see that little girl in this lifetime, but you will see her in the next! In the meantime, I will pray for you to have peace in the waiting and the letting go and letting God.
For myself, we are in a very tight financial situation. I totally believe that God will bring us through this, but I do have trouble trusting some days and have the hardest time not giving over to worry! I appreciate the prayers and the opportunity to pray for others!

Dear Lord, please bless Marcia and her church! Bless her for her undivided heart and love for You, Lord, and for her desire to see peace within her church–it can be so disheartening when divisions arise! Lord, please help everyone at her church to love each other, to accept their differences, and to focus on You and on your Kingdom rather than on their own agendas and personal differences! Foster a spirit of unity and of peace and reconciliation within the church. Bless the leaders, and grant them unity of heart and mind as well and the ability to serve well in spite of any differences. Help everyone at the church to know that what matters most is Your will, Lord, and Your love, and please let that love break down any barriers that exist, and let Your love infuse the hearts of everyone at that church so that there will be true love and true peace and fellowship. We praise You, Lord, that You are a God of restoration and reconciliation and that nothing is too hard for You, that You can reconcile people even when the most difficult differences threaten to divide–praise You, Lord, that You make all things new and reconcile everything! In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
Bless you, Marcia!
I would appreciate prayers for healing for myself from what seems like bronchitis; I have a lot of physical discomfort from that and it’s making it really hard to do anything I need to do, and so I pray that God will bring healing and will enable me to get done all my daily tasks in spite of the pain and that He will energize me and strengthen me. Abba, please heal Katy quickly. Please give her strength and energy, please give her wisdom to know what she really needs to do and what can either be given to someone else or be left by the wayside. Help her also to stop and listen to You, to know what You want her to see in this pain. Give her strength and courage to thank and praise you in the midst of even this. Thank you, God! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

My sister-in-law, my brother’s wife, just went home to God in August after a long battle with breast cancer. She was only 26 and left behind, along with her husband, a son who is only 18 months. Please pray for all of us, but especially my brother and nephew as they struggle through this first holiday season without her.
Amy says
Praying for you and your brother and nephew, Elizabeth! I know this is a heartbreaking situation and my thoughts and prayers are with you. May God comfort, bless and keep you all.

My husband and I have been through a lot of changes this year (moving, new job for him, me transitioning home, etc…) and we’re only just now starting to feel really settled. We could really use prayer over building strong friendships and relationships in our new place and while we plan for me to work from home/have some kind of home-based business, it’s hard to figure out what form that will take and I could use some prayer for discernment over those things. Thank you!
CJ says
Amy I pray that the changes in you and your family’s lives will be seen as blessings once you get through the stress of things. I pray that God keeps your hands open to accept everything in your life as a gift from Him and you will find the good even in the bad. I pray that God will bring you a loving and compassionate friend to enjoy your path with. I also pray that you find a business for the home that will be fulfilling to you. God Bless.

pray for me going through a split from my husband, not knowing if he is stringing me along to reunite or it is for real. He has done all possible to be seperated…..seperate bank accounts seperate computers…..in doing so deleating lots of my files and information.
He is away just now and I think the last thing to seperate is for him to get mobile on a different provider and number.
where is the church when we are hurting and everyone says take care bye.?????????????????
Pray for a miracle to reconciliation……or show me for shower it is time to move on??????????????????????????????????????????????? Though in our vows it ends LET NO MAN SEPERATE.
Lisa Weidknecht says
Jennifer I am praying that God soften your husband’s heart and show him that you desire reconciliation. May God surround you with peace and comfort in this stressful time. I’ve been there and I know how much it hurts. God has a plan for you, not to harm you, but to make your life better. Trust Him.
Diane says
Oh Jennifer honey, I know exactly what you are going through… I really do. My husband left our home 11 years ago and the devastation was .. well.. horrible. My church family didn’t know how to handle the situation (he was actually an elder and on the worship team. I was a leader in the women’s ministry and a Sunday school teacher.) I think everyone was so hurt and confused, they didn’t know what to do… so they did nothing. I remember thinking that it would have been so much easier if he had died (I know that sounds absolutely terrible, but I’m sure you know what i mean.) The church knows how to rally around a widow, but when a marriage splits it’s another story altogether. Soooo so many ((hugs)) and prayers for you dear. May the Lord give you clarity of mind, may He wrap you in His loving and secure embrace, may He teach you that He is One who will never leave nor forsake. May you lean hard and heavy upon Him. And I pray also for your husband, that the Lord would not let him go, that He would keep him in His iron grip, that He would convict Him of wrong and draw him to the right. I pray that the Lord would restore you and accomplish His will in your life. Amen.
Bless you sweetheart.

I need prayers for balance in my life. I am a stay at home Mom and get easily overwhelmed with housework, kids, volunteering, family and friends. I wish I could be all things to all people but feel that there are limitations to what I am capable of doing and when I get too busy that overwhelmed feeling settles in and sometimes turns into depression. Right now I am doing ok but need prayers for finding that balance so I don’t spiral back down. Thanks for your prayers.
emily says
Lord, I pray for balance for CJ today. As women you give us a desire to care for the people in our lives and to nurture them. Thank you for making CJ a caring woman. I pray you would also make her a woman of balance. That each day would begin and end with thoughts of you, and throughout the day her mind would be drawn to you. That you would give her time in your word as she seeks wisdom in how to prioritize and how to serve her family and others. Father I ask that you would remind her that you are enough for her every day. You are the one that fills her with enough to give to others. You see all she does and all she can’t get to and you love her still. I pray you would surround her with understanding people who wouldn’t pressure her or bring guilt. I pray that she would rest in you and listen to your direction. Thank you Father.
Amen.

For breaking addiction so that I can move FORWARD into what God has for me and for our family. I feel like my struggles are holding us back.
Kelly says
Emily, I pray that God will free you from your addiction. I pray that you will let go of what is holding you, and open yourself up to the healing and love that God has for you. I pray that your family will encourage and support you as you work out of your addiction, and that you won’t give up when things become difficult. I pray that you are reminded of God’s unending love, and that through Him you can do all things. May God bless you and your family.

That God would remove all anxiety and anxious thoughts from me. That I would embrace Him as my joy. That God will fill me with the perseverance needed to live in obedience to His call on my life.
stephiec says
After reading a book on emotional pain I realized with having anxiety, fear, depression, and anger that I was causing a lot of the problems I thought were other peoples problems! I was the common denominator. I am the one causing all the pain for others. I have no where to go but up but it is going to have to be with the help of an almighty God and I pray for you CJ and all the other women suffering that He will meet us there in our daily lows and highs. May you all dwell in the breath of the Lord.
Kelly says
Stephiec, I pray that you will overcome your anxiety, fear, depression and anger. I pray that God will heal your heart, and give you peace in your life. I pray that those around you will encourage and support you, and be understanding and patient with you. I pray that God will move and work in your life, and help you to have the happiness you so deserve. May He bless you and keep you, and make His face to shine upon you. Don’t give up!

I am struggling a lot with anger recently. It rears it’s ugly head in ways I am ashamed of. Please pray that this spirit of anger will leave me, and be replaced by more patience, kindness, and compassion.
Marlena says
Lord I pray that your spirit would fill Kelly and set her free from this anger. Would you take away this spirit of anger and replace it with your patience, your kindness, your compassion, your peace, your love. Hold her close and let her know how much you love her and set her free Lord!
I have been struggling lately because I feel very alone. I am the last one of my friends to get married and there is not a guy in the picture. I am honestly content to wait for the man God has for me and trust in His plan but I do feel very alone or like a third wheel with all of my friends being married or having children. I love being apart of their lives and I rejoice with them but I am in a completely different place in my life and just feel lonely. And thats when the fears and doubts about myself begin to creep in.
rooksi says
Marlena-I pray that God will send you the right one at the right time, and in the meantime, remember you are not alone-you’re part of God’s wonderful family. This fantastic technology allows us to comfort and encourage each other, as our Lord asks us to, so I thank God evenmore for the brilliant folks who develop new ways of being in touch.
I ask for prayers for my husband and two grown sons, that they come to know the Lord and live lives pleasing to Him. For my youngest, that God brings the right one to be his mate.
Mary K says
Jesus I ask you to be with Marlena, by her side everyday, and on the tough days carry her down the path you have for her- I pray Marlena will discover your plan and help those fears and doubts to stay away
I’d like to ask for prayer for anxiety and depression- looks like I’m not alone there. Being a SAHM, the days are hard and lonely and when I feel depressed and anxious the vibe in my home isn’t what God desires. thank you ladies!
tina says
Lord I pray right now for Marlena, that you will give her such peace about being single. After my four broken marriages I fought with the battle of not being good enough for any including my heavenly father. Not true for sure, God has placed such a settling peace about being single and has blessed my life so much. He is my rock!
God has me on a journey that’s requiring me to clean out the closets of my life. Struggling to let go of junk that I think is important and yet God is saying it needs to go. Learning to trust God completely….
Debbie says
Dear Jesus, I am praying for Mary. Please touch her in a special way today, may she know that you care very deeply about everything that concerns her. Father, I pray that you will lift her depression and help her with all the mom things she has to do. I also pray that if she can get help in the medical community, that you will provide a compassionate doctor or the right medicine.
Please pray for me. I have suffered from PTSD, depression dissociation for a very long time but God continues to bring healing each and every day. But life has just been hard for too long. Also, I will need a place to stay soon as the family I’m living with now is moving. Thank you.
Everly says
I need to make some decisions and leaps of faith in the near future…things involving other people and my future.
I am also struggling to love an enemy…one who hits very close to home.
Thank you, and blessings to all.
Father,
place your hand on Debbie’s. Heal her emotionally and mentally. Continue to show her your faithfulness…refresh it every morning. Grace her with comfort and peace and show her glimpses of the work You are doing in her soul.
Bring about a smooth move as she finds a new place to live and serve. Let things go off without a hitch….YOU are our provider.
Give her the courage and energy and light enough for the next step, always.
Amen.

Prayer for my writing, for next year’s writing conference, and that my writing might bear fruit spiritually and monetarily.
Dear Father, please help Everly love others as you love them and see others as you see them. That’s a dangerous prayer to pray, I know, but when it happens, Lord, it’s amazing. And I know you’ll help Everly love this enemy or at the very least she’ll feel incredible peace about it. Please grant her wisdom, patience, and peace about where and what she needs to do.
In Jesus Name…amen.

My best friend, who does not know the Lord, tried to commit suicide three times this week. I spent hours upon hours in the hospital with her. Now she is in a psych ward to hopefully get a handle on her depression. I myself face severe depression, anxiety, anorexia and self-harm. I have a treatment team, that’s wonderful, but I do not have any Christian community. Please pray for hope and guidance, and strength to reach out and find Christian friends for support and encouragement. And that I can turn to Him instead of unhealthy behaviors…hopefully every day, but at least for tonight. The days are so hard I can only take one at a time, sometimes only a minute at a time.

Please pray that I soon become employed. I had been self employed for over eight years as a licensed massage therapist until I had a shoulder injury and had to step away from practicing full-time. I do not have the option of unemployment as I was self-employed. I am also a full-time graduate student earning my MBA and will complete my MBA in December. I have been seeking employment on a daily basis but so far nothing has materialized. I have been attending job fairs and trainings regularly. I live a very frugal lifestyle, and have food and shelter but I am unable to meet my basic utilities and bills by the due dates. I am open to receive God’s abundance, blessings, and change.
SB says
I am requesting prayers for my sister-in-law. She suffered a brain aneurysm in December. Many prayers have already been answered, however, she will be having her second surgery in two weeks to remove fluid from her spine. God has placed her in the hands of two amazing surgeons on this journey. Please pray that removing the fluid will enable her legs to work again and that she will regain her strength. She is a believer but is battling some depression right now at the news that another surgery was so soon.
Gracious Father, I lift S up to you right now. It seems that she knows you and loves you and I pray that she will make spending time with you a priority. My prayer is that “life” gets out of the way and that she makes a way for YOU. In your precious son’s name I pray. Amen

dear s, I pray that you find the desire and discipline to know God more. I pray that you wake with a sense of energy and motivation to sustain life’s pull.
Today I need prayers for comfort, healing, and peace. Our daughter Mila was stillborn at 41 weeks on July 1. My heart hurts and my body aches for her. I have two beautiful children who keep me smiling and grateful for an abundant life, but our family is incomplete. We miss our baby and are still so raw from a summer of illness and loss.
This is a wonderful post, and just what I needed today.
CHERYL E says
Please pray for me and my family. My heart is so heavy today. My family and I attend church regularly and actually are very active in the church; help with nurseries, my husband and I are both deacons, etc. However, in the past year I have really been searching to grow closer to God. My husband’s faith, however, is not growing. It seems we are on different pages now in our faith. I feel God tugging at my heart and opening doors of opportunity to serve Him, but my husband refuses to support me in these callings. It is very hard to serve God when you don’t have the support of your husband and family. The church office asked me to pray and consider being the Assistant Financial Secretary, but because my husband would not even listen to why I feel this calling–he absolutely does not want me to take the job–I turned it down today. I know God tells wives to “submit to your husbands”, but if I continue to do that I don’t feel like I can truly serve God when he calls me. (My husband’s reasons for not wanting me to take the job were purely selfish and not Bible based). It is very frustrating to be moving ahead in my faith and hearing God’s promptings, but not being able to accept them because of the strain it puts on my family life. Please pray that God would open my husband’s heart and stir something inside him also for the desire to serve God.

We are praying about fostering & could you please ask the Lord to guide us as to His will for our family & this ministry.

I never knew how much the enemy would attack me as I embark on this ministry to victims of domestic violence. I need support and prayers that my website, lovetransformsu.com and my devotional, Poems, Prayers and Prose will take off to encourage women and others who are hurting. I have considered contributing my writings to Incourage, but have not yet found out how to go about this. Will you please send me more information?
To distract me, there are several family issues and financial issues that need to be resolved. I need wisdom in these areas, specifically in how to help my eldest son with his baby who resides in another state.
Until my ministry takes off, I have taken on an online job and have considered furthering my education. These take time and attention away from the call, but as a single mom, I must meet the needs of myself and my younger son.
I also have a very committed Christian man in my life who loves and supports me and we are considering marriage.
Please pray for wisdom and God’s provision during this important transition in my life.
God bless you!

My husband has been a pastor for 4 years and the church can no longer financially support 2 pastors, so we have volunteered to be the one to leave. It has been a painful process and requires greater trust and dependence on the greatness of our God. Pray Ephesians 3:14-21 for us that we would be strenthened in our inner man with might by His Holy Spirit, that Christ would dwell in our hearts through faith, and since we’ve already been rooted & grounded in His love, may we experience it in greater height, depth, width, length more than head knowledge, that we would be filled with the fullness of GOd and see Him answer above and beyond what we could ask or think. I want to go deeper in my love and trust for our Lord, and I want to be able to offer His love to others in the midst of my pain. (We also have 6 children that we will be modeling trust in our Savior to and they will be experiencing their own pain from the changes and uncertainties that are ahead. May God grant them grace as well.)
Sarh
Ernalyn, I’m grateful for your perseverance during this season of your life. May you continue to abide in Christ and He in you and He will enable to you to bear fruit for Him in the midst of your busy schedule. (John 15)

God has called me to a major life change (thousand+ mile move to a state I don’t really know anyone in, no job lined up yet, etc.) and while I know it’s going to be GOOD I am struggling with being in limbo and not knowing when it’s going to actually happen. Add to that bar exam results coming out this week and I’ve just been fighting to trust God with the future. I shouldn’t, because I know he is with me always no matter how hard the road, but sometimes I just need an extra reminder.

My mom has been in the hospital for the past 13 days. She initially went in because of what we thought was a bowel obstruction; the obstruction turned out to be appendix cancer. The surgeon performed a hemicolectomy and mom seemed to be recovering well. However, last Friday the place where the large and small intestines were connected came apart and flooded her abdominal cavity with fluid. They did another surgery to fix this, and she is now in the ICU in critical condition. We know God is fighting this with her/us, but we would appreciate any prayers you would lift on our behalf.
Cari says
Rose,

I ask for prayers through a difficult journey with anxiety and uncertainty in my life right now. I am scared, feeling alone and need to be strong and healthy. The future is uncertain and my faith isn’t as strong as it should be.
Please help me see the way.
Yours In Christ,
Cari
Jennifer says
Lord, I ask that You bless Cari. Remind her of Your presence and Your unfailing love specifically for her. Take her fear and help her to see all the ways You love her and care for her. Help her to turn her worry over to You and to rest in the fact that she makes no decisions without you. Allow her rest at night and perfect peace throughout the day. Father, at the end of this journey, allow her to say that she gained more of You than she ever thought possible. Grow her faith daily. Let this day be a day of great joy and anticipation of what You will do in the days ahead.

Please pray for our family as we seek a new church home. We are grieving this loss but feel certain this is what we are called to do. This is new ground for us…we have been at this church since we moved here and it feels foreign and strange to even consider something new. Believing God to do a new thing in our lives and to take us to a deeper place with Him.

Hi Sarah. Praying for not only your husband but also you and your daughter. May God heal him in His broken places. I grew up in a house where my father had a lot of anger management issues and it was really hard on everyone. But there is power in prayer. Continue to intercede for him. With God, ALL things are possible! I pray that you and your daughter do not personalize what he does. God is Jehovah Rapha, the healer. If you do not have a church home, I would suggest getting connected with one, preferably that has a men’s group. I don’t know if it is so bad that your husband may need counseling, but if he is not willing to go for formal counseling, sometimes men are willing to talk to another man in the church. Meditate on verses like “Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.” and “He will guard and keep in perfect peace whose mind is fixed on Him”. Know that you can pray and be loving and supportive, but you cannot and are not responsible for fixing his problems. Keep giving it to God. Be blessed!

Please pray for me regarding challenges at work. I have been under attack for the past six months by a boss who insults me, makes inappropriate comments about my body (she is a female), makes racially inappropriate comments, tells me I need to “tone down your intelligence and confidence” and acts out on me in general. She is also incompetent. I have been the acting supervisor for this time period and she is now trying to restructure things and offer the job to someone else and offer me something less. I have a meeting with her and her boss on Friday to express my concerns. I am believing God can turn things around. I have been trying to walk in love and ultimately only want His plan for my life. I need His wisdom and discernment. Thank you in advance for your prayers.

Our Father though IS THE great physician, and He has plans for your husband and your family. The doctors performed through Our Heavanly Father. I pray for YOU that this will draw you closer to God. I believe that is His intentions. He lives us so, and He wants us to give Him Thanks and Praise. He heals me daily…
I would like to ask prayer for me, I pray so hard that God will reveal which path I need to take. My marriage has been in trouble for a long time. Only recentley have I got Tired….just tired of holding on. Tired of being the giver when I am lonely and discouraged. I think about Jesus in the cross suffering for me, and I feel guilty for complaining. I am just so tired of not being loved. My children love their dad, so I hold on. But my battle is selfishness because The thought keeps sneaking in……what about me. Pray for me…I want to do what is right. I just need some prayers for strength. Thank You!!!

Father, I ask that you would give Trish the grace to love her husband, to pray for him and to forgive him (again and again and again). Refresh her, Lord. Let her know how much she is loved by You; and in turn let the love she receives from You overflow to her family in the most amazing and compassionate ways. There is nothing too difficult for You, Lord. I ask You to revive this marriage for Trish’s and her husband’s sake, and for Your Glory. Amen.
I would like to ask for prayer for my thought life. I can be very negative in my thoughts, so much so that I feel controlled by them – I would go as far as saying I feel tormented at times. I’m also struggling emotionally which may be a result of my thoughts. I’m just struggling, generally, and I need God’s help in this area of my life.
Thank you!

i pray for kiki who is having a difficult time at work. God pls give her strength, patience and wisdom as she deals with her boss. Send your Holy Spirit to her work environment so that attitudes change. Let Kiki use this oppressing situation to witness to others about your love.
God, i also pray for Trish who is dealing with a difficult marriage. Help her to give all her pain and loneliness to you, Lord. Help her to trust you wholy and not lean on her own understandings. Reveal to her the path you would like her to take and carry her as she deals with the weariness and heartache.
Let both these women, kiki and Trish know that you are there for them and that you love them more than they could ever imagine.
Pls pray for me as i have also been dealing with a difficult marriage. my husband is going through some sort of midlife crisis. currently he is no longer living with us b/c he said he feels uncomfortable in his own home…like he doesn’t belong here with me and our son. i believe all this is happening God’s greater glory. Pls pray for the Holy Spirit to comfort him and help him open his heart to Jesus. Also pls pray for his heart to soften up to me and our son. Lastly pray for me so that i will be able to give all my heartache, worries, and pain to God.
thank you.

Hi Mary
Isn’t it funny how the Lord works? I am facing a financial crisis at the moment, and he asks me to pray for you, and to put out my faith for your finances. He is amazing!
Father God, I pray that Mary will know that You love her unquestionably and that as her daddy, you want only what is good for her. I am thankful Lord, that nothing that happens in her life ever takes You by surprise. I thank you that You have every detail of her life completely under control. Father, I commit Mary and her husband’s financial situation into your hands. I pray that if they have made any mistakes or misguided decisions which have resulted in this situation, that they will know Your grace. Father, I pray that you will open up Heaven and pour out your blessings upon them. I pray that you will open up doors, that you will give them favour with the right people, and that they will have break-through in this area. That they will know Your miraculous provision.
I pray that you will bind Mary and her husband together at this time. That their marriage will be protected and strengthened as they cast themselves upon you. In the name of Jesus, I take authority over Satan, who will try to “kill, steal and destroy”. Father, your Word says that “no weapon formed against us will prosper”, and I stand with Mary and thank you for the promises in Your Word.
Father, as much as the future can sometimes seem uncertain, we choose to confess that we are absolutely secure in You! I thank you in faith for the miracles that will unfold in Mary’s situation as she continues to trust You Lord. I pray that she and her husband will know your supernatural Peace at this time. Please bless her, her family and their business. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Lots of love and huggles Mary. I’d love to hear how things are going. Feel free to email me at shirleyschilder@optusnet.com.au

Thank you so much for the wonderful thing that you are doing here.
I would appreciate it if you would please pray for my immediate family. My husand, Deon, (whom I refer to as being pre-Save), was diagnosed with bowel cancer three months ago. He is scheduled to have major surgery on the 7th of December. We have a little boy, Seth who has just turned five. My aged mother, Phillida, lives with us and we are her sole financial support. I work full-time, but we have been on a single income since Deon’s diagnosis – by then he was just in too much pain to get through the working day. We’ve lost 2/3 of our income as a result and are really battling financially. I am very hopeful about Deon’s recovery. However, I must confess that as much as I say that I have entrusted our situation to the Lord, I am taking huge strain especially in the finance department. It feels like the whole burden now rests on my shoulders. At the moment we are in danger of losing our home.
I would so much appreciate you praying for us as a family unit. And for me – that I will draw my strength from our Lord, and will be able to stand up under this test.
Thank you so much to all of you who will pray for us.
May God continue to bless you and your families.

Shirley, may peace settle over you as
you deal with this stressful period in
your life. Sending big prayers and hugs
for you, Deon, Seth and Phillida that you
love and bring each other strength each
and every day……and find beauty in the
small moments even as the dark clouds
roll overhead. Even though you are going
through a very rough patch, know that you
are loved and that God will always be there.
Praying for all the others who have left
comments asking for them, too…..You are
all a blessing to me, as you put anything that
I am dealing with in crystal clear perspective
and I thank you for it!

Cassie Emerick says
thank you all for this wonderful work you are doing here. please pray for my family. hubby and i are alcoholics, sober now for two years, but he holds lots of resents toward me for “making him quit”. he was getting worse and worse, to the point that i would take our girls to his parents whenever he would drink. i know he has sneaked behind my back to drink a beer here or there. please pray that the lord will continue to work in his heart. pray for his brother that is in the exact same boat. drinking problem and supposed to quit drinking, but i believe he is drinking behind his wife’s back. for there parents who are very codependent and enable brother to not work and are still supporting him financially, even though he is almost thirty and married with a 2 year old.he refuses to work and has the attitude why should he when mom will take care of everything. i know the lord will continue to work in the lives around me. he is faithful. thank you Jesus for your promises kept. the lord will do a mighty work in those around me, and he is totally doing that to me now. its so heartbreaking and angering to see in the situations around me. but all i can do right now is love. that is a command. love and pray.
Shirley says
Hi Cassie! My eyes are welling up with tears as I read your story. I do not drink, but I am married to a man who does – excessively. I have lived with his drinking, lying, squandering of money and aggression for more than 20 years. As much as I’ve had many, many moments when I have just despised who he becomes when he drinks, God has still given me the ability to see my husband through His eyes. Mostly! I see the man who is still a hurt little boy. A man, who is hurting and is filled with so much self-loathing, that this his way of not only coping, but punishing himself. I don’t claim to know all the answers Cassie, you understand this way more about this than I do. I guess that I’m just trying to remind us that we must hate the problem, but still love the person. Please don’t think that I’m judging you, because I definitely am not. People who live in glass houses should not throw stones, afterall!
I am so thankful for the miracle that the Lord has done in your life Cassie! You are an amazing testimony of how wonderful God is, and well done for staying the course. I know that being a Christian doesn’t remove temptation from our lives, so good on you for continuing to be strong relying on Him to keep you “dry”.
I understand your concern for your husband. My husband tried unsuccessfully, to quit a year ago, and I know that horrible feeling of worrying that they’re going to have that drink that they shouldn’t have!
I would like to stand with you and pray. Father , I thank you for Cassie’s life and her deliverance from alcohol. I pray that you will continue to bless and strengthen her. I pray God that you will give her peace about her husband. As much as she is angered by the drinking, I pray that she will continue to be a good example, and will continue to commit him into Your hands. Father, you’ve proven that you’re in the business of miracles and I stand with Cassie, trusting You for a miracle and healing in her husband’s life, her brother in law, and the rest of the family. I pray for your revelation in their hearts, and that they will both surrender themselves to you. God there are obviously deep issues in the life of this family, but I know that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE with YOU! I speak the Blood of Jesus Christ, over Cassie, her husband and her brother-in-law. Father I pray your protection over the little 2yr old. I also pray for your revelation in Cassie’s in-laws. God I pray for your miracle working POWER to be released upon this whole family. That they they will bow their knees to you and that Your name will be glorified as You transform their lives.
I pray that you will fill Cassie with your Peace which passes all understanding. Holy Spirit that she will know your presence every moment of the day and that You will be her Enabler. Keep her close to you Lord. Let her feel your loving touch every day. God, I know that You have great plans for her life, and I pray that she will continue to cast herself upon You. Bless her socks off Lord! Fill her with Joy. In Jesus’ Mighty Name. Amen!
Lots of love to you Cassie!

Greetings in JESUS’ Name,
I was born with a bicuspid aortic valve. The cardiologists say I need a repair on the valve and that the aorta is 5.5cm and should be 3.5cm. That too, they say needs to be repaired.
I do not want open heart surgery. Nor do I want the nuclear ct scan they want to do on me Dec.1st. I’m believing I’m healed in JESUS’ Name, however I don’t feel the manifestation yet. I’m very tired and can’t walk very far without being winded. I know our GOD is the Creator, Healer, etc. I just need to feel that I’m “whole.” Many people have told me that GOD provides excellent surgeons, and no doubt HE does. However, I need to know, and others need to know that we serve a mighty and beautiful GOD who still heals. That is the most important thing for me right now….and then the other things like a job, financial debt, and housing will come together, I believe. I’m tired, exhausted. I too, do not have any friends where I’ve moved to. I thought when I lost my husband, it was the worst. However, this situation has got to be the very worst. I appreciate your prayers, every one of them. GOD bless and keep you and your family. Love, Darlene
Barb Wall says
Dear Darlene, I have already said a prayer for you and I will continue to pray for you. My sweet husband died 8 years ago this Nov 20th so I feel your pain of lonliness. Do you have a church where you moved? If you do not I would love for you to find one. I felt so alone until I started really praying and going back to church. Please do not get mad at me but God has placed these Doctors there for you–many prayers and Doctors are what I feel in my heart that you need. My e-mail is barbie.wall@gmail.com if you want to send me updates on you and your health–I would love to hear from you. You are in my prayers and God bless you—-Barb Wall

If you have time could you please keep my family in your prayers. My husband died 8 years ago and my family has fallen apart. My middle daughter is pregnant with her 2nd child out of wedlock from a very abusive man–my sisters stepped in and took my 3 year old granddaughter away from her for now. My other 2 children want nothing to do with her-and it is tearing me apart. I also gave a man whom I thought wanted to help my family and me with a home–I am now homeless-living with my 80 year old Mother because he took all my money. Please I would so appreciate your prayers. May God’s peace be with you, thank you and many blessings, Barb Wall

To work or not to work? (Of course, the question is more complicated–all of life is work.) After almost a decade of working outside the home while my husband pursued degrees, I now have options thanks to my husband getting a new job (his first ever!). The transition has sparked an unexpected but good identity crisis: What should my life be spent doing? Where should I devote my efforts and energy? What balance is best for our family (we have one son and hope for more children)? Does my job provide an avenue for me to use my gifts to reach the world, or is it a boost to my ego? I am on leave now, but will have to decide what to do in January. I am grateful for your prayers for clear direction, wisdom, and confidence. Peace be yours.
Lisa says
Please add me to your prayers. My husband went to work 1 1/2 hours away and so stays in that town during the week. This has been going on for the past 7months, and while the decision to do so is still valid ( financially ) it is taking a toll on our marriage. We are not in a position to totally move right now, our house needs to be sold and our daughter is a senior in high school. I’ve been praying for God to protect us both and our marriage, but it feels as though we’re drifting apart. Where we were once on the same page,or at least in the same book, it now feels as though we’re mountains apart. Thank you to whomever says an extra prayer or two for me.
Also, Darlene, I’ve said a prayer for you and will keep you in my prayers. My email address is lisa.tarpley2087@gmail.com, I would love to hear how you’re doing. I know God is going to heal you and will do so in a mighty way.

Lord, please heal every wound of every woman here. Help us to cling to You, even when it seems You are doing nothing. Help us to remember Daniel, whose answer to prayer came before he was even done praying (Daniel 9) and know that when You seem farthest away, You are actually very close. A bruised reed You will not break. Teach us to trust You with every breath we take. Lead us into Your sacred rest and let the peace of Christ guard our hearts and minds. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Jessica says
Sharon, I’m sending my prayers your way. Stay strong and have faith. The Lord always provides to those in need.
Currently, I could use prayers for reconciliation between my estranged husband and I. We are a younger married couple (in our early 20s) and are currently separated. Honestly, I do not want a divorce. My heart is broken and I feel so distraught.
Kerri says
Father,
We thank You for Your strength, Your wisdom, and Your love. I come to you now asking for peace for Jessica and for strength through all she and her husband are dealing with. I pray that they will seek You, above all, and look to You as their source. You are a God who does miracles! We have seen this over and over and over again. Soften their hearts toward one another. Clear out the walls that have been built between them. Give them renewed strength to fight for their marriage and to whole-heartedly chase after each other and to chase after You. Father, I know the pain of a broken relationship. I know how agonizing the ache can be. I pray for Jessica and all the pain she is enduring right now. Wrap Your arms so tightly around her that she cannot question Your presence in her life. Hold her through this and continually remind her of Your truths. God, You are Healer and Redeemer and Restorer. You bring beauty from ashes and growth from dirt. Do Your work in the lives of this couple– a work so amazing and beautiful that the glory will ONLY belong to You and You alone. We love You, Father. Thank You for all You have done and all You are doing. Amen.
Raina says
I’m a new to a wonderful 4 month old and I am struggling with balancing my relationship with my husband, home, and work. Lots of what I’m battling is my will and I don’t know how to change it. I also have a strained relationship with my mother that is causing a lot of suffering and grief on my end. Thank you for your prayers.
Marlena says
Lord we lift Raina to you, we thank you for blessing her with the husband and child that you have. I pray that you would give her wisdom and show her how to balance her life in a way that brings her peace and brings you glory. I also pray for her relationship with her mother, that your Holy Spirit will flood that relationship and allow there to be a time to talk it out, to reconcile and to heal.
Kerri says
I am wrestling with the pain of a broken engagement right now. More than that, I am wrestling with my faith and trust in God. I feel He has given me so many clear signs telling me that He will restore this relationship– but it is very, very difficult for me to trust that it is His voice and not my own heart and desires. I am almost afraid to hear God say “yes” to my prayer– afraid that I will hear Him incorrectly and will be setting myself up for future pain. Even though I have very Christ-like people on the outside of this situation confirming that God is telling me to wait and to have hope for restoration, it is so difficult for me to just TRUST that. Whenever I do come to a place of trust, I feel very much spiritually attacked by the enemy. I am broken and hurting and drained and confused. I just want to see the light at the end of this tunnel.
Jessica says
Kerri,
Thank you so much for your prayers. I, too, find that it is difficult for me to fully let go and to trust the Lord completely. We just have to have faith 🙂
Lord, I thank you for your love and for the blessings each day brings. I come to you today praying for Kerri, a sister in Christ. I pray that she may find strength and comfort in your love and mercy. I pray that she is able to overcome this challenging time in her life by turning to You and listening to You. And most of all, I pray that she and I both learn to trust completely in you. Amen.

Primarily I need prayer for my sister and her husband and children. Her husband has been battling Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma for a couple of years and the battle is about over. He has not been given much time left and they have nine year old twin boys. We would love to see total healing in this situation but if that is not the will of God, then prayers for peace, comfort and strength for my sister and the boys. Pray for then all to feel the manifest presence of God at this time. But also pray for us financially and for us as a family as my son is enlisitng in the Marine Corps. Thanks!
Shannon says
Leslee,
Just sent one up for you! You are held in His powerful hands.
My request: patience. I am realizing more and more that God is working healing and blessing in my life, but I struggle with His timing. It feels so slow!
My mind knows that His ways are perfect, but my emotions so often feel differently.

I know this is late in coming, but… I would like prayers for a different/better job. I currently work in a nurse managed clinic as a CMA(Medical Assistant). My job did (notice DID not DOES) consist of triage and some CLIA Waived tests.
We just started EMRs and have gone to one (1) RN per NP (nurse pactitioner). They don’t want/need me in the clinic side anymore. I will be scanning in various parts of charts.
Long story short–I feel unappreciated/ useless–most importantly I’m afraid I’ll be out of a job soon. Pray for strength and endurance for my hubby and I. Also that I will not harbor any ill will or hard feelings & remain a good Christian through all this!
Thanks everyone!

I have two prayer requests (is that selfish?):
1. That I will, after a ten year struggle, be able to get some relief and healing from my physical illnesses.
2. That I will be successful in writing the book I know the Lord would have me write.
Lots of stuff I could write on each of those subjects, but since you’re busy praying, I won’t go into it. 😉
Beth, I’m sorry you are struggling at your workplace, and please know that I am going to take a moment right now to pray for you!

Chris, May the Good Shepherd kindly lead you while you wait. And then may He gift you with a child, that you might be settled in your home as the happy mother of children. May you wait well, so that this time yields fruit–perseverance, gratitude, trust–all of which will be gifts you can give to your child-to-be.

Please could I ask for prayers for healing?
I tore the rotator cuff on my shoulder a year ago, and it slowly healed. But now I am getting a lot of pain and a greatly reduced range of movement. I have a physically demanding job and can’t afford time off work to have the surgery I it needs. But meeting the demands of my job is becoming more and more difficult by the week. I’m terrified I will end up losing my job (my sole income) and getting into debt, and that my shoulder will end up with permanent damage.

Yet I cannot “snap out of it”….I fear that I will drive my wonderful and loving husband away with my horrible moods. Please pray that God will help me find my way out of this dark place.

I beg you brothers in Christ to pray for a miraclous healing for my brother Rafael, who has colon, retum, and lung cancer stage IV, but I believe in miracles, I know at the end it’ll be God’s will only; however I remember that everybody thought he would die without a doubt, but Job recovered and got cured completely.
I also know the Lord did, has been doing and will perform miracles; nothing is impossible for Him no matter how bad the circumstances may look there’s always a space for a new miracle.
I also know that the Lord wants us to persevere in prayers and this we know by the widow who insisted and insisted that the crrupt judge to make her justice, but he didn’t want to, but she insisted and insisted and because of her insistance the judge granted justice for her, also the guy who got a visitor in the very early morning hours and went to his friend’s house to ask him for bread and because his friend didn’t want to get up, he insited and knocked and kncked his door until his friend open the door and gave him some bread not that he wanted to, but because of his persistance.
I truly belive these pasages telling us to pray and pray to the Lord no matter how bad circumstances may look.
I also remember that although everybody thinks because of my brother’s look that there’s nothing we can do for him, faith is stronger because as we know faith is things we don’t see now but we are sure are going to happen, because our eyes are not physical but eyes of faith.
Now if after praying day and night for my brother he finally dies that will be ; we all know God’s will, but who knows maybe God’ wants to use my brother to glorify His name as he didi with Lazarus or the blind man and others, His thoughts are not ouir thoughts we know.
So I please beg you to pray for my brother, not to ease his horrible pains only but to heal him completely
I thank you very much brothers
In Christ love
Your brother Jose.
