  1. I have had times of tremendous heartbreak and God led me to these verses…
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
He lifted me up in my spirit and brought hope to my heart again because I felt His presence with me along that road. He didn’t stop the suffering but He was present with me through the suffereing. These words are so precious and true. I’m a witness to that. Praise Him!

  2. I really enjoy your Sunday scriptures! This one seems especially for me. I am truly one of the brokenhearted! In May my best friend passed away rather unexpectedly. Then 2 weeks ago today, my Mom went to be with her Jesus! She was 91 and in ill health but I still feel lost! I will look up that scripture and keep it close by.

  3. This was my Uncle’s verse that he held up when he was living out the months he had been given to live. He is now with the Heavenly Father free from pain and suffering. I also have usewd those words to soothe and heal my broken soul in trouble times. Thanks I really needed to be reminded of them today.

  4. What an encouragement for today! I am going through a difficult situation and I need to hear this promise from God.

    Thank you!

  5. What a wonderful Scripture for today–I really needed to hear that today, too! What an awesome reminder that God always helps us, no matter what we’re going through and that with Him and in Him we’re safe. Thanks for the beautiful Scripture! Blessings!

  6. Like your blog and liked the verse that you had for today. We do enjoy the beautiful fall photos. We moved back from CA to live close to our mountains that are just beautiful in the fall.
God bless you as you write for us.

  7. To those who have lost a friend or loved one. Keep looking to Jesus, he will be your strength. He is the Friend of the widows and orphans. Just don’t loose sight of him, remember you are not alone. Standing somewhere in the shadows you will find Him, look to him. He is coming soon.
